Nice Walgreens location, friendly staff. The other location a mile south, off of Big Bend, is more…read moreroomy and also newer. That being said, this location is fine as well. I wish they had self-checkout though!!

I have a beef with Walgreens. I checked out today and the clerk asked if I was a member. I said yes…read moreand entered my phone number. He then said, you have $10 credit would you like to use it. I said, sure. I left feeling good that I managed to use some Walgreens loyalty credits. When I reached home, I looked at my phone and discovered that it was not Walgreens credit that I received but he had cashed some of the ThankYou points from my Citi Double Cash account. Walgreens is not the only business to do this. WalMart, Schnucks and CVS do it and I'm sure there are more. I always decline this because they screw you on the exchange. They charge a 25% premium in points used for the credit received versus getting cash from Citi. There is a difference though between Walgreens and the others I mentioned. That difference is that the source of the credit did not appear on the screen that I had in front of me. It was on the checker's screen. So, I did not have a chance to see what was going on and reject it. His question followed immediately after I entered my phone number, so I assumed that it was Walgreens loyalty credit. At the other stores, Schnucks, WalMart and CVS, it is very clear on the POS pad that they are going to charge you more points than the credit you receive. I am sure Citi has a deal with these retailers to split the 25% premium and Citi has a way of getting some of the Double Cash back into their accounts. In return, Walgreens gets some of it as well. If I were cynical, I would suspect that Walgreen's trains their checkers to do this and add a little more to Walgreens accounts as well. This was not a life changing transaction, but I am not happy about the practice. I will think twice before returning to Walgreens and will opt for CVS, which demonstrates more transparency before this happens.

It's Walmart. Big spacious and well lit. Organizations was at the front of the store asking…read morecustomers to donate school items for the upcoming school year. I did oblige with a check list provided by the most needed items. Pencils, folders? Papers, glue etc. Shoes section has really improved and pricey I might add. I'm clutching my invisible pearls. Home decor, electronics, food, beverages etc. Laurie in customer service was friendly and speedy with my return items.

This was the absolute worst Walmart customer service I have EVER experienced! This is a prime…read moreexample why Walmart has been boycotted by so many!! My experience started great with one sales associate, being very helpful even as she was walking in for her shift and had not clocked in yet. The purpose of my shopping experience was to purchase items for grocery and clothing. Like many people you go in the store and end up putting more in your car than what you really came in for. This was the case for me as I saw several things on sale for my kids. My first encounter was a sales associate that I asked I about Halloween pajamas. She was working right across the aisle from the section. I was inquiring about. She said that's not my department walked me over to the sales associate in that department who was standing around talking to other associate associates. I asked about the family Halloween pajamas no one bothered to take me where they were. I was pointed in the direction where they were across the store. I went and looked did not see the size I was looking for, but the app said that the store had the size. I went back over to the department again. They were not helpful. Finally, they enlisted the help of their department head. She checked the mannequin they were not the correct size. I asked if they were in backstock she said no without even checking despite the app saying yes. Also sidenote, while I was actually looking at the Halloween pajama sizes, the store manager walked by and I asked him if they had any more and he said no, and just kept walking also never checked. Finally, I made a decision that I was going to go and look at another Walmart for the pajamas, but decided to keep shopping for my kids. I came across what you see in the photo. I pick up four colors off the table and proceed to the register to check out. I get to the register the items are not ringing up at the price that you see in the yellow on the sign. The associate in self checkout was extremely rude when I brought it to her attention. While using a hand motion waving me away, said you need to go back to that department and find somebody to help you. I can't adjust the price. I explained to her nobody was back there when I was back there and she said well I don't know you just have to go back there and look. At this point, I was furious because as a customer, you don't wave me off with your hand and tell me to go find somebody else to help me. Finally another sales associate walks up and agrees to walk back to the sign with me to verify the pricing. When I get back there, she calls over the department manager and another sales associate. The department manager proceeds to tell me the pricing is wrong and it's the full price that's reflected on the sign not the sales price. I explained to her that that's not what the sign says, and therefore they should honor the price that's there. She tells me no, but she'll give me one shirt at the price of listed. This was unacceptable to me. I asked to speak with the store manager. It was like I wasn't even asking. She just kept ignoring me and talking over me to the other sales associates that we were standing there. I proceeded to walk away and as I'm walking up to the register, I ask another manager that walks by if they could contact the store manager, she refuses to she is the digital department manager points and says she is a manager and she's my equal and this person refuses to call the store manager. Finally, the store manager just happens to walk over. I explained to him what occurred he again tells me something about they're having problems with their digital signing. I explained to him I'm the customer and that's not my issue and I shouldn't know anything about their problems and that they should honor the price. He absolutely refuse to do it. By the time the conversation ended I was surrounded by five sales associates totally unnecessary a horrible experience. I had a cart full of clothes that I planned on purchasing and I wasn't done shopping. I left the cart there and walked out of the store,
