I started using this pharmacy a month ago, and the experience has been literally the worst I've ever had at a pharmacy. First rx, talked to someone in pharmacy on the phone who told me the prescription was ready. Drove out there. It wasn't ready. It wasn't even in stock. Waste of my time. Cut to the refill. Last Monday (7 days ago) I get a call that they got my rx, but that its out of stock, but they are ordering it and they will get back to me when it's ready. Today, hmmm, weird I haven't heard back yet. Call today. automated system says there's no record of a prescription for you. Talk to someone at the pharmacy. She does a few minutes of typing and then says, I kid you not, i can transfer you over to our dispensing pharmacist so you can get it ordered. GET it ordered? You've not even flipping ORDERED it yet? After a WEEK? Hung up on her and called cvs to transfer it over. What a nightmare this place was. read more

I've noticed a lot less workers in the store and checkout can take awhile longer. Got my flu and Covid shot with an appointment and it took over an hour. I was coughing and had a lot of congestion that started on Sunday Jan 5th...on Sunday Jan 12 I stared getting chills and my body was feeling extremely achy. On Monday of that weak I was too weak to get out of bed so I wound up making a 9am appointment on Tuesday. I explained my symptoms so they tested me for the flu which I tested negative for. They basically said I just had a really bad cough and prescribed an inhaler, steroids, and 2 other antibiotics. I didn't feel like I was getting any better so I called urgent care back letting them know they didn't seem to concerned so by Friday I wound up going to Total Access Urgent Care and the minute they heard my cough they gave me chest X-ray and determined I have pneumonia. I was completely livid when I found this out because I clearly wasn't be treated correctly. I will never step foot in a Walgreens Urgent Care ever again! read more

While searching for some outdoor Christmas lights I wanted in their ad, this store patiently checked their stock and saved them for me. Knowing I live 45mls away (could not order online or find in IL stores) they offered to hold the outdoor trees at the front register for my Mother who does not like to drive in the rain at night. They assured her they would be waiting for her even when she called more than once to check. Very nice service during a stressful Christmas time. Thank you Walgreens. read more

Worst pharmacy ever! Be prepared to wait not hours but days for simple prescriptions to be filled. We have used this Walgreens for years for many things because it is so close to home. We now drive several miles out of our way to use a different Walgreen's. read more

I pretty much hate going into Walgreens and this is no exception. However, my last trip here was for the take care clinic. I was in the area running some errands and had been sick a couple of weeks. I pulled out my handy trust phone and made an appointment at the take care clinic. There was a spot available one hour from the time I scheduled it. That's such a good deal for a last-minute person like myself. It would take weeks to get into the doctor. I had been sick for so long I thought I should see a medical professional. More of a, "Just to be safe" kind of dealio. The Take-care clinic is perfect for that! They can still prescribe medicine and diagnose you but it's way cheaper and more convenient. My trip was quick, easy, and helpful! It's not as personal and lengthy as a doctor visit but it still gets the job done! So glad we live in an age of technology and convenience. read more

Friendliest Walgreens around. Staff have been there (some for many years) and know their customers. I walk in and never leave without a smile. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Understaffed all day long. Long waits, inaccurate pickup times, seem to make their own regulations other Walgreens don't share. E.x. Sometimes they will check to see if they have the medicine and then tell you it will be ready in thirty minutes. You get there and they tell you that you need to call the doctor. There are always impatient people here due to the consistent bad service of their management and staff. Drive to another one if you can help it! Will probably even save you time if it's a further drive. read more

Amazing amazing amazing! The people who work here are so nice and caring. From the moment my boyfriend and I were checked in, we were greeted and seen right away. ( unlike the Arnold take care clinic located off Vogel road, which should be shut down See the Yelp review posted in what occurred) The nurse that helped check us in made us feel comfortable and not weird that we were seeing someone other than our normal primary care doctor. When we did see the Nurse practitioner, she was very knowledgable and was able to get some medication sent over to the pharmacy. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes. It might not seem long, but it still very thorough and we weren't rushed. Definitely will go there again should the need arise. Carlie was the best! She helped us color match makeup and then did make overs for my daughter and I for my wedding. She even came in early to fit around our crazy schedule!!! I didn't even know you could get this amazing service at Walgreens! So cool! And not pushy like the malls and big store make overs. Love her!!! read more

Took my Granddaughter to the clinic at Walgreen's on Bowles. She has insurance but didn't have the card. She had the information and was trying to get the information from the insurance on her phone. I offered to pay the bill with my SelectAccount, which is basically money from my paycheck that goes into an account to cover medical expenses. The female at the desk said, welllllllll, I don't know if we can take that. Sometimes we can, sometimes we can't. We should probably be able to take this one. I asked what would happen, if after the visit, they decided they couldn't. She just looked at me. I looked around and saw the wait time was over an hour, and one of the ladies waiting to be seen sounded like she was about to heave both of her lungs up. Not wanting to deal with any more of the receptionist's silliness or expose my Grandchild and me to anything else, we left and went to Total Care in Rock Hill. They were wonderful! In and out in less than an hour, with 3 prescriptions, and having had xrays done. They didn't hesitate to take my SelectAccount card. Won't go back to the Bowles clinic. read more
