This is the worst walgreens branch I have ever been to and I have been treated with incredible indignity. My perscriptions are never on time, I am forced to wait for over an hour to get them refilled after being notified they were supposed to have been filled already. Worse, the pharmacy techs are unbearable. The last visit, they were yelling at one another and calling each other names. This visit, I was mocked for waiting for a perscription and told there was nothing they could do. I received a text that my perscription was ready, yet when I went they conveniently could not find it and began arguing amongst themselves and when the pharmacist asked where I was the tech answered "she's still at the counter just staring at us" and then told me there was nothing they could do. She did not offer any plan or alternative. Disappointed, I left my purchases at the counter. Every time I go, a different pharmacist/tech is rude and inefficient. I am incredibly disgusted by the behavior at this location and I am horrified to learn these people are still being employed by Walgreens, nevertheless that they were actually hired and trained them in the first place. In a job where you are primarily required to provide customer service, the rude treatment is inexcusable. If you hate speaking to your coworkers and your customers, find a job where you don't have to speak to people. This was ridiculous and degrading. I had a heart transplant 2 years ago and cannot afford to be in a constant fight for medication I need to survive. I also cannot afford to be mistreated by employees who fail to do their jobs.

Most recently I greatly appreciated the pharmacist who counseled with me about the medication I was picking up. It was one that could cause an allergic reaction based on the health record that the Pharmacy has for me. We had a very informative conversation and he wanted to make sure I had a plan in place in case I had an allergic reaction. I felt that I would know what to do and appreciated his urging me to have a bottle of Benadryl on hand. As it turned out I did have an allergic reaction within about 45 minutes of taking it. I knew what to do and the Benadryl was effective. I feel so good having these professionals so close to where we live. They take an active interest in our health and well-being. And they have the best greeting cards!

This is only one of many instances where their lines are long, where counter staff are abrupt, where shelves are disorganized, where the floor is dirty, where the bathroom has no toilet paper, when staff walk around talking about going on a break, eating snacks and shuffling around. If it had been sent by mail, it would likely have sat in our mailbox for at least an hour, and internal temperatures that almost certainly would have been over 100 degrees. This could have easily compromised the medication. They sent it in a way that would avoid that, possibly at a higher cost to them, without even us asking. If you need prescriptions from a compounding pharmacy, this one has been great for us. Good, friendly, knowledgeable people delivering great service every time.

There are a few really great pharmacist who will do whatever's needed to take care of the customer and then there are some who are overwhelmed by the job. In the world of chain pharmacies- this is not done. One of the major chain stores will not even honor requests for specific manufacturers of generic drugs. By law, these generic medications are allowed a 40% leeway from the original formula. Your heart medication or seizure medication if generic, only has to be 40% as effective- and they are selling it to you. If that's not disturbing enough, these chains will switch to the least expensive (to the chains) every month. It's vulgar, dangerous, and dehumanizing.
