Worst Walgreens ever! The pharmacy will take days to get to your prescription. My son needed his meds and I explained that to them. We had dropped off the medication at 3 in the afternoon by the evening when I went to get it it wasn't ready so unfortunately I went back in the morning to get it and still not filled. The pharmacy manager Katt was rude and lazy. Yelled at me and said they are short staffed. A curtesy call would have been nice so I could have gone else where for my prescription my son needed to badly. I'm amazed how slow the pharmacy is. Lots of people running around. How can they be this slow???. Drive through, inside, doesn't matter- always a 30 minute wait. I've been in line tonight for 20 minutes and the same car is at the window. This will be the last time I ever use this pharmacy. SLOW is an understatement. read more

Avoid the drive thru as they let customers handle transactions or tests that mean you're stuck in a line with no escape for 30 minutes. One car should not be allowed to sit at the window for 30 minutes. Have them come in. Ridiculous! read more

Purchased two gift cards both on my receipt. However only one was put into my bag. Luckily I checked it as I was walking to my car. Went back to get the other gift card that was on the counter under some add papers. If I'd left I'd be out the $25 that was on an active Home Depot gift card. How would I ever prove I didn't have it? Please make sure that if ringing up and activating gift cards you are putting them in the bags. I left a detailed message with local District 91, spoke with Becky in corporate customer service (very helpful), and called and left a detailed message with the St. Louis county department. The corporate customer service case number is 12365394. The employee, Adrian, white female- 60s ish, refuses to wear her mask over her nose, thus defeating the point of the mask- to protect others. This is not the first time I have witness this and had to be checked out by her. The first about a month ago and I called and spoke with the store manager on duty that time, Laura, she validated my concern, didn't seem surprised at all, and said it was wrong and she would address it. Today, around 1pm, I was in there again and Adrian still isn't wearing her mask over her nose. I spoke up this time and addressed it calmly but firmly with her, stating "I have to say something, you do know you have to wear the mask over the nose to properly protect others". She was flustered I would address it and said "I don't feel well today"... I responded that was more the reason to wear the mask correctly, that I am immune compromised, I have elderly parents, there are cancer patients, sick clients and elderly that shop here, it is a pharmacy and there is no excuse for not wearing her mask if she is working. I stated I would report her to corporate. She stated "oh please don't, I will lose my job". I plainly stated maybe she should since she couple wear her mask. She then stated maybe she shouldn't have come to work today and I agreed. I told her to call her manager and she did. This time I spoke to Laurie, manager on duty around 1pm, 6/21/2020. Laurie said Adrian should have worn her make correctly and that she has a "tooth ache". That is absolutely NO excuse and this isn't the first time in over a month I have seen Adrian no wearing her mask appropriately. I asked for the corporate customer service and was given the employee-only number where they refused to help me with the real corporate customer service number. I found both the district and corporate numbers myself AND the St. Louis County reporting line. Adrian should lose her job, along with any management they plainly knew she was repeatedly not wearing her mask appropriately. While I was in line Laurie walked past and saw Adrian and shook her head but didn't say anything. Management is not doing their job if they can discipline their employees. If I get COVID-19 after going there and doing the appropriate measure of wearing my own mask correctly, sanitizing and washing my hands and social distancing I will look into a lawsuit against the store and Walgreens. If I see her again without a mask I will call the police and an attorney. She deserves to lose her job because HER own actions she doesn't seem to understand and transferred the blame to me if she got fired. Absolutely immature and ridiculous. read more

Ummm... :| I had just called this store to ask about returning a quart of milk that I purchased only 2 days ago. We just opened it last night and it was already going sour. The manager was on the phone and said - repeatedly, "I mean, well, I don't know. I guess?" and repeated that talk twice. As if asking me and not sure what the answer was. This is supposed to be the manager. OMGoodness! Customer service is lacking badly in all areas of retail. I understand this is milk and I should have paid closer attention to the expiration date because it was a less than 48 hour window expiration. I only grabbed it as it was convenient. I'm not overly concerned about actually returning it. My point is the behavior and response from the women on the phone that claimed to be the manager. Do they not have return policies to follow? Does she make things up as it pleases her? Hmmm... Yes, I'm being a bit sarcastic but honestly, she should surely know what is allowed or not. read more

This isn't just a review for this specific Walgreens; it actually is a general complaint for all Walgreens pharmacies in the West County area. Walgreens pharmacy fills prescriptions on automatic refill and them gives you an automated call to let you know it is ready. Unfortunately, they do not put their address on the message to advise where the prescription should be picked up but instead of letting you know a street address (as would make sense in a GPS era), they will tell you it is "at the NW corner of Big Bend and Old 141" and then do not leave a return phone number in case you don't know where that site is located. What?! Any cell phone will give you a phone number, right? Unfortunately if you call back the number that comes up on your cell phone, you don't get a usable phone number. As far as I am aware, no street address exists called Old 141 but I've only lived in Missouri for 7 years. Walgreens will call you again if you don't go through a scavenger hunt the figure out which pharmacy has your medication. However, the second time you are called, the automated system will let you know that you have a certain amount of time to come in or your prescription will be put back. Therefore, you either figure it out or you're out of luck. If you're like me, you drive to the pharmacy where you think you brought your prescription and hope that your refill is there. Unfortunately, since there are so many Walgreens locations, you might not be in luck. Tonight I drove just one too many times to the wrong Walgreens. I have spoken to 2 store managers who said they would pass the information on, but this is not been resolved for several months since my complaint. I've been a loyal Walgreens customer for many years, beyond filling 10 prescriptions a month also buying other items. However, now I will no longer shop there, since it has been made clear to me that customer service is not a priority. read more

My advice to everyone is AVOID THE PHARMACY. The people working there are among the most rude, unfriendly, and disinterested people I have ever encountered. Go the short distance to Schnucks or Shop and Save across the street for another pharmacy. The people who do not work at the pharmacy are really nice. read more
