[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is the Italy in Miami! This spot feels just like the Italian Riviera.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the seafood tower, and it was perfect with generous portions of oysters, shrimp, lobster, and crudo. Exactly what we were craving.

We arrived less than an hour before close. Both the host and waitress Rosmery were extremely helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside. The breeze was a little heavy, but that is not something that could be helped :)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was upbeat and catchy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And the dinner was delicious! I had the Octopus appetizer and he had the lamb chops. Both were perfect. And to finalize, before we took a long walk to work off all the food, we had gelato (Pistachio and Chocolate). Highly recommend!

Pablo was a great server. We came in with a large group and he handled everything perfectly. I'll definitely be back there again soon. The food was decent, but the service was excellent.

Pasta was good but a bit overpriced. I guess that's just ocean drive though, overall good seafood options and pasta.

After a full day of travel for spring break, we decided to try the restaurant at the hotel...usually I'm reluctant but this time, we scored. Cezar salad and pasta were delish. I dove right into the pasta and forgot to take a picture. Oops. Service was fine but I can see where some tourists that are not trained travelers might be put off by some of the attempted "special scams" . Just know how to order and don't fall for something not on the menu. It's not science. I would come back if in Miami again.

Amazing service ! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Vibes was amazing .[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Jennifer was so sweet. Had the salmon and fries then 2 sexy mercato

I can't help but feel like we were swindled after deciding to stop and eat here for dinner on a Thursday night... We noticed someone eating a lobster and steak dinner for 2 and we were told it was a "special" (It was called the "Mare e Manti"). We thought that meant a "special deal", so we chose to stay, but it was far from a special deal...I do understand that it was our fault for not asking about prices up front, but at the end of the day we did not expect the meal to cost THAT much. I definitely felt over charged. Humberto upsold us on still water, okay that's fine. But when he upsold us on Don Julio 1942 margaritas we did not know the drink was going to cost $45 each. I did not feel any type of buzz. I would've never agreed if I knew and would've stuck with the Jose Cuervo margarita. On to the food...when it came out of course it looked nice aesthetically (see pictures). Too bad it was a small lobster with mushy watery meat for the tail, no meat in my deformed claw and watery mush with little to no meat out of the other more normal looking claw. The taste was watered down and underwhelming, the dab of pesto sauce helped with that a little, I guess. My man doesn't eat seafood that much so he kept asking me if his lobster meat was undercooked? That's how mushy it was. I felt bad. It looked as if the lobster was frozen and thawed and not fresh lobster out of a tank. We proceeded to eat because we didn't want to be a problem or a bother. The portion of spaghetti rolled in a Parmesan cheese block tasted good but was only portioned enough for one person. That also disappointed us, because it was supposed to be a meal shared for 2. Why did we each literally get one bite of pasta and it was done?? We filled up on bread cuz our side dish was tapas sized lol smh. We were told shrimp came with the meal but it was an add-on charge on the receipt as if it wasn't already included, but the shrimp was good nonetheless. The bone-in ribeye was good, but was more medium well than medium like I asked. The Mare e Manti came to a total cost of $150. Now, that might be "cheap" or "nothing" for some people but for us it was a total shock for what we ate. We could've gotten a 34oz tomahawk steak dinner and more, or something similar at an upscale restaurant elsewhere for that price! The shock was real. Plus the 20% gratuity added without notice was the icing on the cake! Plus, I tipped additionally on top of that because the staff was nice, we loved Humberto's energy he's a nice guy and the staff were very apologetic and accommodating, so I'll give them that by adding another star. I had to share this review because it had been bothering me, and I just had to vent. All in all I think I would recommend this restaurant, but if you are not wealthy or rich I recommend asking for prices upfront, don't be ashamed, we all work hard for our money.

We had a 3 hour connection time in Miami and decided to take a quick drive to SOBE (during rush hour). Our taxi got us there in no time we went straight to Mercato di Mare based on Yelp Reviews and were so glad we did. We were seated right away on the sidewalk tables and enjoyed a great 40 mins lol of a delicious meal along with people watching. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered the: - Caprese Salad to start with - pretty average - Salmon 9/10 - Branzino 8/10 (only because we didn't love the sides it came with) - cocktails: Cucumber Basil Martini was perfect not too sweet just how I like my cocktails And the Mango Mojito - hubby loved it but then again he loves sweets As we received our entrees we asked the waitress for our check and we made it in record time. Our taxi was waiting for us to take us back to the Airport! If you're in the mood for a good meal with ambiance and have a little more than 3 hours to spare in an airport connection I would definitely recommend it.

If you are in south beach Miami, you have to stop by mercato di mare! It has been a yummy surprise! It's a real Italian place with real Italian food! The staff is super friendly, helpful and they gave me excellent suggestions! 10/10 Claudio is a gem of the restaurant TUNA TARTARE : 10/10 tasty, soft and super fresh SALMON TARTARE : 10/10 my favorite, a must to start with. BRANZINO: butterfly branzino, I asked with sauce on the side... my favorite as main course CHARRED TUNA: tasty , comes with a side of saffron risotto with peas and arugula. If you like seared tuna, this is the perfect dish! Unfortunately I haven't tried the pasta or the pizza so I cannot give an advice. DESSERT: cake with strawberries and chantilly cream 7/10... chantilly cream super fresh, the cake not on my taste!

While visiting Miami Beach, I had one goal: eat at least one restaurant recognized by the Michelin…read moreGuide. After dinner at Macchialina, I can confidently say I chose wisely. Italian restaurants often talk about simplicity, tradition, and technique. Macchialina backs up those claims with execution. You can certainly order à la carte, but I would strongly encourage first-time visitors to consider the chef's tasting menu. At $75 before wine pairings, it feels almost suspiciously underpriced. By the end of the meal, I wasn't wondering whether it was worth the money. I was wondering how they weren't charging more. The first course arrived as a trio. Creamy polenta with mushrooms, onions, and chives, broccoli rabe topped with toasted breadcrumbs and a soft-boiled egg, and a savory pastry filled with sliced pork and a rich sauce. All three were excellent, but the polenta was the dish that immediately demanded attention. I've had a lot of polenta over the years. Very little of it has approached this texture. It was impossibly smooth, somewhere between polenta and a luxurious puree. Combined with the mushrooms and broth, it delivered a deep, earthy blast of umami that lingered long after the bowl was empty. The second course showcased three pasta dishes. Macchialina's signature cavatelli with veal meatballs, porchetta, and pecorino, agnolotti stuffed with ricotta in brown butter sauce, and a classic cacio e pepe. Choosing a favorite felt unfair. The cavatelli delivered hearty comfort and deeply savory flavors, thanks in large part to the tender veal meatballs. The agnolotti burst with creamy ricotta filling in every bite. The cacio e pepe served as a reminder that great ingredients and proper technique rarely need embellishment. For the third course, a veal Milanese arrived perfectly fried and topped with arugula, concentrated tomatoes, and Parmigiano Reggiano. A grilled lemon accompanied the plate for a final squeeze of brightness. Halfway through the dish, I found myself thinking a touch of balsamic might improve things. Then I caught one of the concentrated tomatoes in a bite and immediately abandoned that thought. The tomatoes provided exactly the acidity and sweetness the dish needed. Nothing more was required. Dessert sealed the deal. Bread pudding made from Sullivan Street brioche, banana, hazelnut crumble, and bitter chocolate. It was paired with vanilla ice cream, and drizzled with caramel sauce. It was rich without becoming heavy, sweet without becoming cloying. The slight bitterness from the chocolate kept everything balanced. It ranks among the best bread puddings I've eaten. Technically, the tasting menu is four courses. In reality, it delivers eight thoughtfully prepared dishes that showcase the kitchen's range, creativity, and restraint. For diners curious about tasting menus but hesitant to jump into a multi-hundred-dollar fine dining experience, Macchialina offers one of the best entry points I've encountered. It feels approachable, generous, and remarkably polished. Some tasting menus leave you impressed. The best ones leave you planning your next visit before you've even paid the check. Macchialina belongs firmly in the second category.

First impressions matter, especially in a restaurant, and this was not a professional welcome. Once seated, our waiter seemed to have very little knowledge of the menu. He could not answer basic questions about the ham or provide information about the food. We had to call him three times, and eventually another server came over, but communication was difficult because they spoke very little English. The food was equally disappointing. The prosciutto was sliced incredibly thick--more like a steak than traditional prosciutto. Anyone familiar with Italian cuisine knows that prosciutto should be cut paper-thin. It was clear that the staff did not know how to prepare or serve it properly. Overall, poor service, lack of product knowledge, and improperly prepared food made this a disaster of a dining experience. I would not return.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The ambiance is beautiful--elegant, intimate, and welcoming. After a short wait in the bar area, we were escorted to our table, where we found it beautifully decorated with roses and rose petals in honor of our anniversary. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture. In fact, the couples dining around us were joking with my husband that he was making them look bad because their tables didn't have the same romantic setup. It made us feel incredibly special. What impressed me most was how genuine the hospitality felt. I've dined at many of Miami's most exclusive and expensive restaurants, and sometimes they make you feel like you should be grateful just to be there. Casa Tua is the complete opposite. The team genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience for every guest. They aren't pretentious--they're warm, thoughtful, and focused on hospitality. Those little details make all the difference. The food was absolutely phenomenal. While the menu isn't extensive, everything we ordered was exceptional. I had just returned from a trip to Italy, and I can honestly say the truffle pasta at Casa Tua was every bit as good as the best pasta I had there. It was outstanding. The Branzino deserves its own paragraph. I've ordered Branzino at some of the finest restaurants around the world, and this was, without question, the best Branzino I've ever eaten. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely unforgettable. To top off an already incredible evening, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary dessert beautifully decorated with "Happy Anniversary." It was another thoughtful touch that made our celebration feel even more personal and memorable. Dessert was incredible, the wine selection was excellent, and every single course exceeded our expectations. Another pleasant surprise was the value. Considering the quality of the food, the level of service, the beautiful setting, and the location in South Beach, I expected to spend far more. I've paid nearly twice as much at other Miami restaurants and left far less impressed. Finding this combination of exceptional food, genuine hospitality, beautiful ambiance, and reasonable pricing is incredibly rare. I also have to recognize our server. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, which is a shame because he deserves a special mention. He was a young gentleman from Venezuela who provided some of the best service I've received in a very long time. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help. Every recommendation he made was excellent, and throughout the evening, we never felt rushed. Instead, we felt cared for and welcomed, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. In today's world, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find restaurants that excel in every category: outstanding service, exceptional food, beautiful ambiance, and fair pricing. Casa Tua delivered on all of them. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there on Thursday, July 2, and it was an evening we'll never forget. From the beautifully decorated table with roses and petals to the complimentary anniversary dessert, every detail made us feel celebrated. I sincerely hope this level of hospitality is what they consistently deliver because if it is, they have earned lifelong customers. I cannot wait to return, and I will be enthusiastically recommending Casa Tua to all of my friends and family. It was, without question, one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had.

Nick and Andre kept our glasses full and tables squeaky clean throughout the entire night. Now for the food... for apps, we had ricotta meatballs, fiocchi, and truffle fries - all 10/10, but man, that fiocchi was mind-blowing... some of the best we've ever had. For mains. I had crab ravioli (perfection), my bestie had cacio e pepe, my husband had gnocchi with chicken, and my friend's hubs had an off-menu mushroom risotto with shrimp that was suggested by the server - literally no misses here, everything was top-tier. Dessert? Tiramisu, creme brulee, and Nutella mousse/ice cream hybrid - all amazing. The ambiance was great. Even the valet was reasonable. Great night, great food. Would go back in a heartbeat.

What we didn't know is that they have a Super Price menu running from 4:30PM-6PM! So we were able to get our order in and take advantage of the specials. Highly recommend going early because the prices are great! We started the evening with a Caesar salad and an order of the meatballs. And the meatballs were to die for!! They were so delicious! The meat had great seasoning throughout and it was a great ratio with the sauce and ricotta. The caesar was also really good with light dressing. For entree we got the agnolotti rosso which was amazing. It was stuffed with spinach and you can tell spinach was fresh. The sauce was absolutely delicious. And the pasta was made of spinach so it enhanced the flavor. We paired off all the food with a bottle of Bonanza cab which was perfect with the food. The whole time the waiters are flying by making sure our plates are clean, and waters filled. We ended the evening with a piece of tiramisu which was perfection. Perfect balance of mascarpone and coffee. I paired that with an espresso martini which was nice and strong. Great way to enjoy the glamour without breaking the bank!

The menu has a nice variety of options, so it's easy to find something you're in the mood for whether you want something light or a more filling meal. Everything comes out quickly, but still tastes like it's made with care rather than rushed. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, making it a perfect place to grab a quick lunch or an easy dinner without spending a lot. Overall, it's a reliable go-to when you want good food that won't break the bank.

So my very high level of anticipation may certainly be partially to blame for my average-ish experience. I was pleasantly surprised to get a table with no wait at ~6:30 on a Wednesday evening. Staff were attentive and friendly. Prices were high, as expected, but at least the pizzas are of reasonable size. The $32 pasta portion probably could've been a bit more generous. But anyway, on to why we're all here - The Pizza: The crust had a great crunch but I felt lacked nuance beyond that, no chew and a touch on the dry side. Cheese and sauce were fine but also unremarkable. The heaps of basil provided some bright freshness that was definitely appreciated. I feel even more compelled now to try the NYC location for comparison! This wasn't a bad pizza by any stretch but not something I would ever pick over my favorite NYC standouts.
