I'm not sure what to make of it, but I found most of the art a bit disturbing and strange. My daughter mentioned that's exactly what art is all about--expressing emotions. There were doors that led to rooms filled with even more art. I suppose the fun was getting lost in the rooms and floors. Overall, I probably wouldn't go back. However, my 16-year-old absolutely loved it and is already looking forward to coming back!

Place is interesting but not for the price they charge. I've been to beer gardens in Europe that were as interesting if not more interesting than this place. Looks like a bunch of people went on an acid trip and decided to decorate the inside of a building. I got a veterans discount and paid $50 plus $15 to park. Spent about 90 minutes inside. Four of us - two boomers and two GenXers - felt the same way, too expensive and a "one and done" kind of place. It should cost 1/2 what they charge and parking should be free. I gave one extra star because there were some creative use of materials - eg, the old radios.

This was an incredible adventure I shared with one of my closest childhood friends! We had an amazing time. Everything was so visually breathtaking! It's almost hard to know where to go first. Thank goodness for the app. Highly recommend you download it. Definitely do all the little side quests. They are all really neat! My favorite spot was the bar on the 2nd floor. It's called Sips with a Z. I'll let you try to find it. There is so much merch too! It was really hard to decide what souvenirs to buy. The tickets are inexpensive and worth every penny!

Outrageously priced at $55 per ticket for what you saw. There are five floors, but you can't go to the second. It's a bar with art that they rent out. I don't smoke pot, but I think for those that do, it would be a great psychedelic experience. It was individual rooms created by artists with verrrry creative minds. It felt science fiction weird!! I won't need to return.

This is the third meow wolf I've been able to visit, first was New Mexico second was in Las Vegas Nevada now this one in Colorado. Each one is unique with its own theme and story, this was like an "inter dimensional" experience with various floors to explore. Spent a few hours here with friends and checked out some cool art they had a movie theater playing an odd movie about butter lol. Parking lot you have to pay before entering. Colorado residents get better pricing than tourists. A fun thing to do at least once

Had a fantastic time exploring Meow Wolf Denver! There are 3 levels of art / areas to explore, although level 5 is very small in comparison to 3 and 4. There is a gift shop and restaurant on the 1st level, a little bar on level 4, and restrooms on levels 1,3, and 5.

What an absolute 5-star masterpiece! We previously visited Meow Wolf's Omega Mart in Las Vegas and had a great time, so when we found ourselves in Denver, we knew we had to check out this location. There are definitely some conceptual similarities across their exhibits, the concept is beautifully crazy and usually involves space, sci-fi themes, and some sort of a disappearance mystery. Supposedly, this Denver location is actually their largest installation out of all five of their sites, and it absolutely felt like it. It features multiple rooms and multiple distinct worlds that are just overall completely insane. It is pure sensory overload for as long as you are inside! Because we had a flight to catch later that same day, we didn't have enough time to actually play the interactive storyline game. However, we did get to fully explore and enjoy every single room, and there are so many of them. I got to push all the buttons, touch all the interactive art, look at the finer details, and just listen to the incredible music and sounds. Words honestly cannot describe just how crazy this place is. The intricate details, work, love, and attention that the artists have put into this art are absolutely amazing. If you look closely, there are hidden details literally everywhere you turn. Because it is so wonderfully overwhelming, I can totally see why locals get annual passes to go back again and again, each time you visit, you are bound to discover something new. Highly recommend making this a priority stop if you're in Denver!

I've now been to all the Meow Wolfs in the nation except Las Vegas (Grape Vine, TX, Denver, Santa Fe). If you've seen one, you understand the basic experience, though to really get what's going on, you have to see them all and do a lot of wandering and research. Denver's Convergence Station is the largest of the Meow Wolf complexes (I think) at over 90K square feet. For timed entry and a drink, it cost over 60 dollars (flexible entry is more expensive). I actually had to go twice because I was so overwhelmed and missed a large portion of the venue, even staying like three hours. The art is awesome. Lots of mysteries. Phone booths where you can call multiple numbers and get various weird clues. A neon castle. Tunnels to crawl through. Lots of climbing up stairs too (they have elevators if needed). You can stop by a bar in the Japanese-inspired "city" to grab a regular or boozy drink to take around with you. Lots of places to explore. You can touch everything (make sure to sanitize after you leave). Multi-media and diverse textures everywhere. Bright lights. Weeeeiiiiirrrrddd stuff. Aliens. Monsters. Sometimes if you time it right, their real life alien characters will make their way through the installation. I don't think there is any way to see or understand this installation in just one visit (they offer annual passes by the way). And honestly, you have to see all the other Meow Wolfs to really get the big picture (but it doesn't hamper your enjoyment or delight if you haven't). I will say that this version of Meow Wolf is a little more winding and convoluted than other smaller venues. Things don't connect quite as well. But still a good time. Employees are all helpful and cheerful. You can make this into as much or as little of a day as you like. And it's 100 percent worth it.

I'm a Meow Wolf enthusiast. After multiple visits to the OmegaMart in Las Vegas, Convergence Station in Denver is my second Meow Wolf experience! I really enjoyed the theme of a sci-fi train station that serves as a common transit stop across multiple universes, and memories are used as currency in this world. Once we take the elevator up to the location, we entered into a city. It was very cyberpunk, and I didn't know where to start looking with all the storefronts, vehicles, and the movie theater. At one point, I did go into the movie theater to rest and watch the films. There's a lot of little Omegamart Easter eggs, like the store products! The music room with all the instruments and the circular light hanging from the ceiling playing music was very trippy. The giant enchanted forest was so cool and dreamy. I took a bunch of photos and videos there, and enjoyed standing in the temple and absorbing the sights and sounds. The stained glass cathedral was my favorite room. It was absolutely magical and awe-inspiring. The staff were absolutely amazing and friendly. I upgraded my ticket for a supremium membership at Meow Wolf, which means I get free entry anytime for the next year at all 5 Meow Wolf locations, and any guest I bring with me gets 20% off their ticket.

This is one of the coolest interactive experiences I've ever had! My husband planned an epic surprise birthday trip for me in Denver. This is definitely at the top of my list. We spent a good 2 hours here, walking around, enjoying the art exhibits, trippy decor, awesome performances. I have two big tips for those who plan on visiting; buy your tickets ahead of time online AND be prepared to pay for parking in addition to admission. There's a parking lot out front, it cost $15 for the entire day. I know there are other meow wolfs in different cities, now I want to visit them all!

Been here multiple times and it's always a great experience. I usually spend about 2 hours but you could literally spend the whole day if you're really into playing the virtual game and looking at all the details with the unique art rooms. My last time here was about 2 years ago for the Yelp event. Great place to really experience different art, all of the rooms are so creative.

Audrey C.

Cool space to check out with friends! There are so many different rooms, things to look at and places to explore in this expansive museum. Every direction you look is something new to see! The whole place took my friends and I about 2 hours to explore. Tickets were about $50/person and parking was $15 in the lot across the street. They have a small cafe and gift shop where you can purchase drinks. Inside the immersive museum there is also a spot where you can try out themed drinks as well! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in guiding us upon entry and when we purchased our tickets.

Natasha K.

What a fun day spent exploring room after room of colorful art installments. Lots of interaction and activity. I will say that it was packed. I assumed that with 4 floors there would be some decent amount of space but lots of people around all the time and many children that lack social awareness. That being said. Still would recommend it just worth being strategic about timing

Bright and colorful rooms!

Ask the Community - Meow Wolf

I still can't tell what this place is. is it local artists? Is it like the rainforest cafe, where you just walk through a lot of plastic/plaster objects down streets that are painted? I just want a simple explanation. tia

It is an audio dreamscape, a different artist that allows people to experience strange and unusual ideas

Can I bring in a reusable water bottle?

Yes, but it needs to be empty when you pass through security. You can then refill it once inside.

How much time does it usually take to get through all of the exhibits?

If you have the RFID qpass, I would budget 2 hours minimum.

If I bring a bag that is more than 8x8, will they have a place for me to hold it? (I don't mind paying - not from here and I usually travel with a bag)

Hey there! We do have a bag check for a nominal fee, learn more here: https://meowwolf.com/faq#denver

Is there a cafe that serves wine?

Yes! They have a small dining area close to where you walk in that has a small selection of food. They also serve wine, beer, and hard seltzer.

We weren't quite sure where to enter from the back parking lot, but we saw a "Wine Tasting This Way" sign that led us through an area being set up for a wedding...whoops! Not sure if the sign had been moved or simply hadn't been moved for the wedding. Once we made our way to the tasting area, it was extremely busy and we had no idea where or how to check in. We eventually asked someone who came up to the register to check out another guest, and they promptly got us checked in. The tasting itself was nice, we tasted about 20 diff wines, and we had a lovely girl serving us. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was as first time visitors, we weren't given any info about how the tasting experience worked. It took about an hour and a half, and we didn't receive the advertised tour that was included. After the tasting, we were ready to purchase some wine and waited behind another couple who was checking out. However, no one ever acknowledged us or came over to help us check out. I think this place is probably great, but the disorganized check-in, lack of clear signage, and inattentive staff made the experience more difficult. As first time visitors, we would have loved a little more guidance.

Then when he did acknowledge me and I stated I would sit at the bar, it took several minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. The staff was busy speaking to each other and doing side work. Once I was acknowledged, things started getting a little better. When I arrived during breakfast/brunch, I was informed they were in the middle of a menu change, so my choices were limited. Breakfast items include bacon and burritos. I started off with a charcuterie board (though I had asked for a fromage board). This was not only because I wanted some tasty cheese, but I was trying to kill time until the lunch/dinner menu started. The board was a great board, two different meats, three cheeses, a loaf of bread, some nuts and jellies. But it was 40 dollars! I had a few small plates (which was still a lot of food). I had a melon and cucumber salad, which was a good palate cleanser. I also had the roasted king mushrooms, which were underwhelming with no seasoning, and they were a little chewy. The best thing was the wild boar meatballs, which were seasoned really well and in a savory, delicious marinara sauce. All the cocktails were fruity (but not sweet) and refreshing. I had one that was carrot based (Kiss my Carrot with tequila, cointreau, carrot, orange, and ginger), one that had pineapple flavor (paper boat with rum, falernum, aperol, lemon, pineapple), and the smoky smoke and flower (hibiscus mezcal, cointreau, pama, rose water). This spot is a winery, so they have a large wine list. They have handhelds like burgers and flatbreads. Starters like artichoke dip and bruschetta. Some of the current entrees, which might change, are hanger steak, chilean salmon, cauliflower steak. They had a gnocchi dish I was interested in, but it's already been removed from the menu. The restaurant is classy and just like a winery is expected to be. The food is pretty good. But the service was really subpar.

Puttshack provided a mostly fun evening. The golfing is mostly enjoyable, the food is ok, but the…read moredrinks were disappointing. For the golf, I appreciate that you plan tee times. This helps prevent backup in the pretty small space. The holes themselves are pretty tiny and pretty basic. Like the very similar "Holey Moley," only one or two holes in each course are unique or interesting beyond basic putting. These holes, though, aren't super highly themed in various larger than life ways. Instead, it's more Vegas/Casino look with lights, colors, and arcade-y-ness. I believe there are 4 or 5 different sets of 9-hole courses; we played two. The tech also sets it apart. The ball keeps track of your score which is calculated off of various factors for each hole. The "True or False" hole at each course was fun, if basic. You answer a question by hitting the ball through a specific tunnel; if you get it right, you get bonus points. The screen provides a different question for each player. The screens also show how you compare to EVERYONE. The day we were there, my wife was the number 1 player of the day, and she is still riding that high. The food was just ok. When we were there, they had just changed the menu. We were there specifically because our friends said the food was good; we all agreed it was just ok. I had a salmon bowl, my wife had the poke bowl, and we shared a giant tower of nachos. They did what they needed to do, but were forgettable. The slow service meant we were a bit late for our second tee time. The drinks weren't the best. But the service while golfing was nice. The vibe of the place is pretty nice. It's like industrial speakeasy. The dining area is pretty spacious. The golfing area is a bit more cramped. This makes for a pretty fun, but expensive evening. This is definitely made for adults and maybe teens in mind. I'd say HoleyMoley is a bit more kid friendly/interesting but maybe a lesser experience. The location of Puttshack is great, too, as you're walking distance to much better bars and restaurants. So maybe I'd golf here again, but we'd enjoy our food and drinks elsewhere.

There are afternoon specials, so check their website and buy tickets before you arrive to get a deal. I will say, that because the exteriors of all the holes are raised to keep the ball inside, it made me a little nervous due to the tripping hazards of each hole. My 80 yr old parents enjoyed it, but I was stressed that they were going to lose their balance and fall over. I'm only mentioning this in case you're bringing some senior citizens or people with lower mobility. Otherwise it was fun and the staff was super nice. I love how you don't have to keep track of each putt, the technology does it for you! We did have some issues with it, but Jenah was working in our area and was very helpful and available to fix any tech issues. Not a big deal, I was just thinking not everyone wants a whole and if someone is extra hungry they can take two halves. Just thought it would make things a tad easier. They tell me no. They can't/won't cut in half. Ok, whatever. I don't understand what the big deal is, they obviously posses knives... just cut them instead of saying "no". So stupid. 20ish Minutes after waiting, the person who took my order said it would be 30 minutes to make. Which was weird cause what was going on for the last 20 minutes? 30 minutes to wait is fine, if you don't waste the 20 mins prior resulting in about an hour wait. So, I declined as now we are talking an hour to get 20 simple breakfast burritos. I needed to get to work and I wasn't wanting to wait an entire hour and they just wasted 20 minutes of my time not prepping anything, so I decided not to go with the burritos. Someone came to refund my sale and then preceded to kind of scold me for not ordering in advance. He said something about for an order like 20 burritos they want 2 days heads up. GTF outta here. It's freaking burritos. You don't need 2 days to make 20 burritos. And here's the thing, I'm not here for a lecture because I attempted to give YOU business. And I won't be back, either. When you get a customer to purchase your goods, be happy. Provide them the goods. Make it as soon as you can. Don't say no for no reason. Don't make anyone feel bad for trying to give you business. It would have been SOOOOO simple to make the burritos and quick run the knife through them. But, no, the choice was to do nothing for almost a half hour, to refuse to run a knife through them as asked, and then lecture a customer for coming in to order 20 items. It's not like I asked for 100. What if 10 customers came in and each ordered 2? Can you do that? Do they get lectured, too, or...? See ya.

Standout dishes for me included the duck doughnut, the wood ear French toast, the venison burger, and the leek cappuccino. The kanpachi crudo and scallop with tamarind were also beautifully balanced, and desserts like Cash's Apple and The Sphere were thoughtful finishes rather than an afterthought. One of the more memorable details was the menu book at the end of the night, featuring the chef's original sketches of the dishes.
