Great service and great coffee so basically everything you'd want in your local java stop. Cute atmosphere, as well, close to the boardwalk. Perhaps even a bit of a tourist spot because of its proximity. I'm basic and do a cold brew black but really enjoyed theirs. Best coffee in Venice! read more

Horrible service! Woke staff and lukewarm coffee and overpriced Danish. This place used to be one of best coffee places years ago. Don't know what happened. New management I hear! Bring back the old management PLEASE read more

Stopped by on a Saturday around 5 pm. Was looking for some coffee after having lunch in the area and the reviews of this place caught my eye so we decided to give it a try. The barista suggested vanilla latte and Spanish latte. Drinks 5/5 The iced vanilla latte was absolutely delicious!! I am so so picky with coffee and typically disappointed but this drink was perfection! Just the right amount of sweetness and you could taste the vanilla and the espresso! The iced Spanish latte was also delicious but on the sweeter side. Service 5/5 The barista was friendly and made great recommendations based on what I like. He also made the drinks fairly fast as we were taking some pics. Ambiance 5/5 It's a cute and cozy coffee shop in Venice with decent seating. Price 5/5 $14 for two lattes is average nowadays so can't complain! At least they were both tasty and worth the price! Overall Would absolutely come back here when i'm in the area! read more

I really wanted to like this Venice location since I love the Culver spot -- the drinks, the friendly staff, and the great vibe there are always consistent. Unfortunately, this location has been the opposite experience on multiple occasions. There's one employee in particular -- the long-haired male barista -- who always seems to have a bad attitude. The energy here just feels off every time I visit. On top of that, I've noticed poor hygiene practices, like going straight from wiping down tables and petting dogs to squeezing oranges into a latte without washing hands. It's disappointing because the concept and drinks are great, but this location needs serious improvement in cleanliness and customer service. I'll be sticking with the Culver location from now on. (I also reached out to the company directly to discuss before posting a negative public review but they never responded, so here we are). read more

Amazing Coffee! Amazing! Wonderful flavor. Different other coffee shops. It stands out.

Delicious coffee for a walk along the beach! Located just under the Venice sign, Menotti's is a cute little coffee shop for a quick stop with quality coffee. They have a specialty menu along with the basics, and they all looked delicious. Inside the shop are a few tables as well if you're looking to cozy up there instead of walking the boardwalk. The staff were friendly, made good recs, and were fairly quick. We got a vanilla latte and a Spanish latte and were very satisfied with both, the Spanish latte especially. Would definitely visit again! read more

Terrible experience with the cashier, despite the coffee being amazing. I come to Venice often, and every single time I stop here because the coffee is absolutely delicious. But today I was completely shocked by the behavior of the cashier/barista. I bought a coffee and a cookie, and I politely asked for just a tiny bit of milk on the side , literally enough for two small sips ,for my 2-year-old child. He told me it would be an extra $2. I said never mind, because charging $2 for a few drops of milk makes no sense. What surprised me even more was that while making my cappuccino, he intentionally poured the leftover milk down the drain right in front of me instead of giving me that tiny bit for my child. When I commented on it, he laughed in my face. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and petty behavior. I love the coffee here, but after this experience with the cashier, I'm honestly shocked. I will think twice before coming back. read more

Needed coffee after a disappointing latte somewhere else. Recently heard of the Spanish Latte and was excited to see it on the menu here. Order it. It has a lovely blend of mocha and cinnamon. The espresso is robust so you can still taste it (sometimes places have such watered down lattes) and the milk is creamy and rich and pairs well with the sweetness of the mocha. The line moves fast here too read more

Stumbled across Menotti's while aimlessly exploring Venice and it did not disappoint. I had the Hojicha iced latte with black sesame syrup and it was fantastic. The vibes are great. A wonderful patio area. read more

I got a Spanish latte with coconut and almond milk. Tasty! Cute little coffee shop to stop into in the area. Friendly staff too!

Went with the "most popular" - Spanish latte- made with condensed milk. It was ok. I'm just being honest and not intending to come across nasty. I've been to tons of coffee shops and this one was the least impressive. Espresso was not memorable. One guy with a beard didn't seem all that friendly. Like, who doesn't say hello to customers as they walk in or approach the counter? No pastries, small bites, nothing. Spent 14 bucks on two lattes with no substitutes The outdoor seating area was cute. Sorry, just not impressed or convinced by these other reviews. Digging the records and hip hop playlist Inside can use a little cleaning up. read more

Coffee adequate and barista was very hostile to me when I nicely asked to have drink here (didn't say I wanted to go when ordering). He looked at me angrily and said well did you ask for it to be here? My first time in and I won't be back. Too bad. read more

$8 for a Spanish latte?? HA! This used to be a specialty of theirs but now many other local coffee shops are making it for $6. The only edge they have now is location with cool patio seating. Service is very slow but they have made major improvements to staffing. They used to have the most miserable people working here the newer people are much better. read more

Matcha - I love matcha so of course this was mandatory for me to get. There's a hint of honey which was a nice touch to the matcha drink. Spanish latte - I enjoyed this a lot! It reminded me of an horchata latte, but no cinnamon. So good and so worth another try my next visit. read more

Menotti's shows up on a lot of LA's best-of coffee lists, and I definitely understand the praise. It's definitely a good 3rd wave coffee shop with some serious espresso and a lovely interior. My barista was charming and friendly, and I enjoyed an iced Bees Knees from their Specialties Menu (it wasn't super overpowering for anyone concerned about the floral flavors). I definitely want to try their hot drinks next time! They also have a small parking lot in their back which makes picking up their coffee to go quick and easy! read more

Parking on the street and they have outdoor seating as well. Would recommend. read more

Ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte w/ Oat Milk around 2pm and there was no wait!! The staff was super nice and helpful when it came to deciding what drink to get and I liked my drink a lot. It was a pretty strong latte, but the perfect sweetness :) The only downside is that milk alternatives are an extra dollar like please I didn't choose the lactose intolerant life T^T Overall a cute and yummy coffee place to check out! read more

This is a fabulous coffee shop in Venice beach just off the strand. These guys know coffee. I ordered a decaf mocha latte and my friend ordered a piccolo. Both drinks were excellent! My coffee had an awesome chocolatey richness with just the right amount of sweetness. There is a large outdoor area for sitting and enjoying the drinks. The prices here are very high. My drink was $8 which is the most I have ever paid for a decaf mocha latte but it sure was yummy, and yes, it's Venice beach so the entertainment is free! read more

This is a really tiny shop close to the boardwalk and main Venice "entrance" is, so it is a very convenient location for those who are visiting and want to see the frequented infamous vantage point of Venice Beach. Tourist trap location aside though, Menotti's is actually able to deliver a decent cup latte. The Spanish latte is delicious, as one barista so aptly calls it their "gateway" drink which I can see from reviews now that it must be a well liked drink. It is a little on the sweeter side, which I know can be a hit or miss with some folks depending on preferences. What I do appreciate though is that you can still taste the espresso, which is a nice change from some other coffee shops when the espresso is completely masked or burnt. I do prefer roasteries where I can get fresh coffee, as nothing beats a good cup of freshly brewed coffee with freshly roasted beans, but if you want a little sweet caffeinated pick-me-up for your stroll on the boardwalk, I would check out Menottis. read more

Drinks: Iced Latte (5/5) - love that it's not sweet at all and you can also taste the coffee Windward punch (4/5) - it's a mix of the different teas they had. It was a little bit too light in taste for us. Space: One large table inside and plenty of outdoor seating. There's some boardgames you can play with too! Parking: Parking around Venice Beach can be a little difficult. We found a public parking further away and just walked through Venice Beach for about 15-20min to reach the shop. Overall: 4.5/5. Love the latte, honestly. If I'm around Venice Beach, I'd probably stop by again read more

Menotti's is really notti with their coffee and savories, if you know what I mean! Their coffees have a kick to it, (so is their pricing actually)! I got an oatmilk latte with a hint of vanilla and my bf got a Spanish latte, oh so delicious! We got a Large (ordered online), and when we both got our coffees, we thought it was a mistake because it was more like a Small. My large ($5) oatmilk (+$1) latte with a hint of vanilla (+$1) was $7...very expensive for what I would consider a normal small size cup. As for the food, during weekdays, their food menu is limited to the bakeries. However, on weekends, they have notti food goodies via Arepa stand (next door). You can go on their Yelp page to click the link to their menu to order online. I fount it much more convenient (if your order has food). The Arepa Stand Pop up is 9AM-3AM Sat/Sun. The notti, which is a Venezuelan tradition, is so yummy here! I got the Notti's which includes fried egg, avocado, plantains (hey there vegan!), and crema. If you order online, it might get confusing a bit because they include "add-on" for all of the items i listed above. However, those are extra. Your OG Notti's already comes with all of those so don't click these items again, you will get them as extra. THe $13 OG Notti's already included all of them. Would recommend if you're in Venice and want to check out local coffees and the Notti's (if you're there on the weekends). Prices are high though. Staff are super friendly and they make your coffee fast! My lower star ranking is more on the pricing overall. Would've been a 4 stars if their pricing was normal..Maybe if you order iced, the cup would've been bigger.. read more
