You can tell the baristas genuinely love what they do, and they're amazing at it. The only downside is that the paid parking is ridiculously expensive. Anywhere from $10 to 15 minutes to an hour, $20 for two hours and the price goes up and up. There is one hour metered parking nearby which isn't very convenient if you have to keep going back to refill the meter. If you're lucky you might find distant street parking that is unpaid. This is nothing against the restaurant, but as Venice as a city in general. High prices like these without any special validation, are sure to keep people from coming to these places at all if you can't afford it. Perhaps that's how Venice would like to keep it. Only people who can afford the parking are allowed to enjoy these businesses.
