Hampton Drive + Black Cold Brew

Girrrllll. Stop what you're doing and get their cold brew. I now have my new favorite spot to get cold brew it's so good. lol Menu options and flavors are super unique, staff is very friendly and the vibe inside and outside is great lots of room to sit and so many cute customer puppies to look at. Hits the coffee trifecta for me and absolutely will be coming back to try their other options.

Some of the best coffee we have ever had. We tried the Big Dog cold brew & where's nicely latte. So well balanced and the espresso was so smooth. The flavors were perfect, not too sweet and didn't over power. The cold brew was so unique- it's like a filtered/infused flavor and it was awesome. The owner was really nice and they answered all of our questions. Can't wait to go back and try more

Locally owned spot in Santa Monica. I'm glad that this cafe opened up in Ocean Park as it was a nice neighborhood walk. Came here with my boyfriend on a Saturday morning and had a matcha latte and latte. Both were well made and the owner/barista was super nice and personable. There are a couple of tables indoors and outdoors to sit and sip. There is metered parking out front. We really enjoyed our time here and will be back!

This place is legit. The owner is also the barista. He was running the place himself. A very simple and minimalistic spot with a couple tables inside and a couple tables outside. There were several obvious regulars chatting with him when I came in. Seems to be a well-loved spot. He was surprising a regular with a drink but still immediately addressed me. I got an iced vanilla latte. Basic but easiest to judge this drink between cafes. The espresso was extremely smooth. The drink was subtly sweet and the perfect amount of ice. A 10/10 iced vanilla latte. This was perfection to me. I wish I lived closer. Cost was not too steep for the area, especially for such a high class-crafted latte.

The dudes here know what's up. They got 4 grinders dedicated to espresso so there is a profile for everyone. I'm not a matcha fan but the matcha tonic I got, slapped. The signature drink menu is extensive, it's a fun adventure every time you go in if you try something new. Don't sleep on One Cedar or you'll be mad you didn't find them sooner. Also great selection of retail coffee from local roasters but grab a bag quick before they're gone!

I came on Sunday around 1:30pm. Apparently, they were so busy earlier in the day that they were sold out of a bunch of drinks when I got there. I got the iced americano, which I liked. Definitely different than other coffee shops in LA, and they have different plants growing, which I thought was cool. Also, it's very reasonably priced; my iced americano was $4.

My best friend's husband recommended this place to us. While we were standing in line, I watched the barista interact with everyone in front of us. He was personable and knew small details about each of the customers waiting ahead of us telling me they were local regulars. It was our first time and I loved our interaction. My friend mentioned her husband and he asked who. She says, "He's a big white guy, buys a bag of coffee each week." Noah introduced himself and asked, "Does he take his coffee black?" I cracked up laughing that he just knew who we were talking about. I was visiting, but wish I lived closer bc I would love to have more of this delicious coffee on a regular basis. I rarely stray from my usual, but I tried two new flavors from the menu for each day I was there. Wish I could remember the names, but that was the beginning of a big trip and I just got back with a serious case of jet lag. Loved the vibe! I'll be back each time I'm in LA!

    Iced where's nicely? Latte.

I immediately fell in love with the smell of this place. Before even reading their menu I smelled orange vanilla tones and I was immediately excited because I am a sucker for a good orange vanilla flavored latte and lo and behold they had a latte called where's nicely? That hits this exact drink. I wish they served the lattes in a 16 oz. BUT will say the quality for the buck was present.

    Off Lincoln

Popped in on a Sunday to this awesome spot on Lincoln. I tried the priciest drink on the menu coming in at $12; however, it might have been one of the tastiest, unique, coffee concoctions I have ever had. Will definitely be back!

One Cedar isn't just serving coffee, it's making a quiet argument for intention. The opening line says everything, everything is a double shot standard. In an era of endless modifiers and sugar forward theatrics, this reads as a statement of values. Coffee here is built on proportion, temperature, and timing. The classics espresso, cortado, flat white, latte are treated with reverence, not nostalgia. Each drink is calibrated to be finished, savored, and certainly not negotiated. That restraint carries through the details. Milk choices are offered without fuss. Some drinks arrive at a fixed temperature, an almost radical act of trust between barista and guest, and a subtle reminder that the cup knows what it's doing. My current favorite, Off Lincoln, channels nostalgia through apple caramel and maple waffle milk, sharpened by two ristrettos and a touch of salt. It's familiar without being childish, indulgent without losing its edge firmly in the realm of grown up pleasure. What's most evident, though, is the care behind it all. The owner Noah, brings a rare combination of thoughtfulness and humility to the space. The shop reflects a point of view that values calm, clarity, and craft over noise. What One Cedar understands, deeply, is that excellence doesn't announce itself. It's felt in the quiet assurance of a menu that knows when to stop. One Cedar isn't trying to reinvent coffee. It's doing something far rarer, reminding you how good it can be when nothing is wasted, and nothing is extra.

Great neighborhood vibes and coffee crafted with precision. No food options yet but someone cooks outside on Saturday's.
