Since this was a completely new A/C install with no prior system in the house, I had a lot of questions regarding the system itself, part numbers, maintenance requirements, and long-term considerations. She answered everything clearly and concisely. The install team showed up within a week, and honestly I probably could have scheduled even earlier. When I say "team," that's almost an understatement. Gary, Eli, Clark, Tristan, and Ervin showed up ready to work and got right to it after answering a few final questions. I work from home, and anytime I checked in to see how things were going, they immediately asked if I had any concerns or anything else I wanted to go over. Every member of the crew was respectful, professional, and genuinely easy to talk to. Even when I asked about unrelated things they noticed in the attic, they took the time to explain what they were seeing and what I should keep an eye on. I don't think you can measure a business when everything is going perfectly. You measure a business by how they handle things when it doesn't go as planned. Everything has been going great, but we recently had a little hiccup when I added a whole home water filtration system. I was a little frustrated and it took a little bit to get the right person on the phone, but I'm really happy to know that they are the same company from 11 years ago. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem. I've heard nightmare stories about other companies in the area that will install something and if there is a problem, you are on your own. I see a 1-star review from someone who was frustrated with lack of customer service. I was frustrated with this too. The AI phone interface can be frustrating, but there are good people working there who are trying to do the right thing. It just might take a little bit of patience to get the right person on the other end of the phone. I do know that they are addressing this problem. Julian is my plumber and Sam is my HVAC guy and when they come to the house it's like having old friends visit. At the end of the day, that's what keeps me coming back to them. The work is solid, the technicians are knowledgeable, and when something does come up they stand behind what they do. Eleven years later, that still says a lot about the kind of company they are. I have no hesitation to call them for some of the bigger upcoming purchases that our household needs, like a new AC unit and a tankless water heater. He diagnosed that the blower needed to be replaced. (I am a certified aero engineer, so am familiar with ignition and burner systems) When questioned about the continuously activating ignitor, he indicated that the continuously running ignitor was "normal." When I sowed him online that the continuously activating ignitor was not normal and could be dangerous, he didn't 52 minutes researching Google on his cell phone and did not change his diagnosis or estimate fir cleaning the fan and replacing the blower that was working fir an additional $240 over the warranty's initial service fee. I called highly recommended Air Systems Solutions in Ventura, CA who arranged for a technician visit the next day. He was very courteous and did a very thorough job and replaced the ignition panel. Also added a new water heater and, my favorite addition will be the split installed in a back room add on with a cathedral ceiling that's difficult to heat/cool on its own. Each installation came with its own specialist, and each team was amazing. They took such good care in ensuring the carpets were covered, and their cleanup was fantastic - including one of the guys who walked the driveway and area in front for nails that may have been dropped!! I had to look for a place that services my Brand of water heater, is reputable, and available! They were able to come out SAME DAY and kept me informed throughout the day of changes in eta. The technician (Roberto Ramirez) was kind and patient and explained what COULD be wrong and what was ACTUALLY wrong. He told me what to look for in the future and possibly how to prevent it from happening again. He told me how to maintain it going forward and some other tips and tricks that might help extend the life of my water heater. Additionally, he contacted the warranty company and worked with them to get the needed part today at zero cost to me which you would think might annoy a company or technician but he didn't seem bothered at all. And now not even 5 years later the ac doesn't work again. I've barely used the ac since I got it. It got hot and I was using it for like 5 days then the fan stops spinning.
