This store is the only store that I found the product I needed. Other Menards stores showed it to be in stock but this is the only store that could find it. Menards is my favorite hardware store to go to. My choice location is 96th st., but this is my second choice only because of distance. Great customer service and check out. Great, VERY EARLY Halloween decorations

You know you're a true Midwestern, when you love the store Menards. Basically all building materials, home decor, interior design, quick fixes, outdoor items, and even food can be found here. I'm almost always guaranteed to go for one thing and end up with a cart full of items. Most of our home fixes have been done with simply items from Menards. We that we've also done all of our landscaping, flowerbeds, gardening, and shrubbery through Menards. The best time to go for us has always been during the 11% rebate, because you get a check back for 11% of what you bought. This is extremely helpful when going in the future to use that as a gift card of sorts and it makes the fun of redecorating or completing projects go a little longer. I am a huge sucker for their soup mixes in the fall and winter time. My favorite is the potato soup and also the tortilla soup packets. Don't underestimate their deals on food also, there are many times that pricing is very low compared to other grocery stores. Menards also has a rental department which we have used a few times, I will say that we've had more luck with calling ahead rather been using online to determine what's in stock for renting.

BEWARE OF MENARDS EAST INDY PROPANE SCAM - $5.00 service fee on top of propane charge for each tank.

NEW MENARDS PROPANE SCAM = $5.00 service charge is all it says on the receipt. Never have your propane filled by Menards as they have a new what I will call scam going on. SKU#5759815 does not exist at other MENARDS locations I checked. Other locations will say this sku does not exist. * The sku does not mention it being related to propane, and MENARDS INDY EAST is the only location that has it setup. Two mostly empty tanks refilled came to $53.33 Menards Indy East used to be my go to store for everything. Not anymore. There is not one mention of this on the website or at the filling station. They had filled my two tanks before I had paid. So when I was the person at the register rang up $19.92 + $19.92 + $5 fee + $5 fee + Tax = I was shocked. The manager says sorry there is nothing we can do, even though this is not listed or advertised anywhere. Well guess what. I have a choice of where to spend thousands of dollars on hardware, lumber, power tools, water softeners, etc. *Lawrence Tool Rental = $ 21.49 to refill 20lb propane tank to 4.6 *U-Haul = $15 to $20 if empty, and they charge per pound if your tank is not half full; then it would cost less. *Even every gas station exchange would be better than this. Best of luck and the cat is out of the bag on this one. Will let everyone using heavy equipment, RV, lawn mowers, etc. that run on propane; to shop elsewhere.

I must say I have been to many establishments and dealt with many of people but never have I ever meet a customer service extraordinaire like Adrian! He is the flooring manager at this Menards and he's the absolute best customer service person I have met EVER! He went over and beyond to explain everything to the fullest. I had no idea what I was doing I just assumed I was going to Menards to price match flooring. He clearly was up for the challenge and immediately began to ask me questions about the project that I had in mind. Once I explained the task at hand he asked me quite simply why are you paying someone to do something that you can easily do yourself. Wait what?!?! I couldn't believe my ears. A person working with the public that wasn't trying to blow me off, listened to me intently and did not tell me to go watch a YouTube video. I was stunned! Heck, I'm still stunned! I said well I'm a girl I can't do this type of work by myself. It's a lot. I just don't think I can do it. He immediately said I think you can. Wow! I stood there in complete and utter shock. He literally explained everything to me step-by-step, but wait it gets better he gave me his card and said if you have any questions or you get stuck don't hesitate to call me. With that being said I am going to save $1350 on a home improvement project by doing it myself. Not to mention I can now tap myself on the back and give myself the kudos for the work being done to my home. I hope Menards Corporate reads these reviews bcuz they really have a exemplary employee that should be acknowledged for going over and beyond for their customers. I can not rant and rave enough about this young man. I've literally told any and everyone who will listen that Adrian is the best of the best!!!!! If you have any flooring jobs that you are working on go to the Menards on 42nd and Pendleton Pike and ask for Adrian I promise you will not be disappointed!!!

There was a competitor supply store right around the corner from my house, but they were quoting twice the cost of the switch ($14.25 at central supply). So I drove 30 min to the east side (I live on the west side of Indy) because they had been friendly on the phone and it was half price compared to the other store near me. Once I arrived, I quickly found the parts counter and was somewhat unprepared to order as I was unsure what I needed. I had snapped several photos of my pressure switch/tank to help me. That's when one of the regular plumbers (who was ordering parts also) looked at my pics and totally helped me order all that I needed to do the job. While we waited for our orders to get picked from the warehouse, I continued to learn more about pressure switches from the nice plumber who had ordered my parts for me. The staff and patrons were friendly, and very helpful. I was able to also purchase the wires I needed as well as a new pressure gauge because they have both plumbing and electrical supplies. Total bill : $27.38. Competition : $32.50 for just the pressure switch. I will definitely come back for my next plumbing/electrical needs. Thanks, everyone, for your help - it was a success made easy because of you.

My son has been here often so he's becoming familiar with certain areas and found what he wanted. I, on the other hand, was overwhelmed. Asset Recycling is a division of Youth Fair Chance, Inc., and in operation since April of 2003. They are a non-proft organization who works to divert usable building materials from landfills while offering donors all allowable tax incentives for their contributions. The charity's focus is to provide today's youth with a fair chance for a safer and more environmentally friendly future by eliminating usable building materials from landfills.  It provides neighborhoods and individuals, especially the ill, needy, and youth, new and affordable building materials for home projects. While the Asset Recycling warehouse primarily contains windows, doors, paint, plumbing supplies, flooring, and lighting, you can also count on finding interesting deals, arts and crafts items, holiday and party supplies, home decorating items, fabrics, and more. Asset Recycling is open to the public with a focus on serving those most in need of assistance with safe and affordable housing.  Inventory changes often, so frequent visits are encouraged. Ice cream bars, yes that was in our shopping cart as well (yes, there is a grocery section, Lowe's nor Home Depot has that). Maybe is the case with staffing everywhere these days, sometimes is can be difficult to locate someone to ask questions to and when you then find them, you will either get a seasoned person who knows many things or a newbie that knows nothing.
