Wanted to like this place, prefer to shop local businesses. They don't seem to appreciate their repeat customers

This is my go to. Because of this massive network of over 4,100 individual stores, they can use this network to provide lower prices to compete with the big box stores. They have everything for every season whether it's flowers, plants, trees & shrubs to outdoor furniture, Christmas trees during the season accessories and a huge array of grills for those grill master enthusiasts. Oh and of course typical hardware stuff like paint, tools etc. Don't miss going into the yellow house and they even have a restaurant, yes in a hardware store, called Sully's that you can eat and also take cooking classes there. You can also walk around with an adult beverage while you browse! They have the OG at 71st and Keystone, they acquired Allisonville home and garden by Sullivan, 49th and Pennsylvania and in Cicero. NOTE: This review was specifically for the 71st and Keystone location.

The store is divided off into different 'rooms' with different types of decor, tools and Christmas trees! Several areas were great photo props for the grandkids! Everyone working was friendly and helpful. Prices seemed to be reasonable. Enjoyed the train, however, next year we will probably find a free Santa to visit as the price was steep.

My mom and I have been coming here for a long time. I have several fond memories, especially when I…read morewas younger, of accompanying her to pick out the plants for her garden every spring from Rosie's. The business has always had a calming atmosphere with their setups of running fountains and planters at the forefront of the establishment. Heading deeper past the wide array of various sized planters, you can find almost any kind of plant you're looking for. They have both perrenials and stunning annual flowers as well as your classic hastas, ferns, and different kinds of shrubbery. Additionally they have hanging baskets that my mom and I always used to choose from for my grandmother as a present on Mother's Day. My personal favorites to look for that they have in are the different types of climbing vine plants they have such as clematis and candy corn plants. When I was old enough I received my own plot of my mom's garden to fill with my own plants, so of course we went to Rosie's, and we were able to find even some of the most obscure flowers that I wanted. My personal favorite that I was able to find was a mock orange bush. I can proudly say that my garden is thriving because of Rosie's care and devotion. The best part about Rosie's though, is that their plants are well taken care of. My mom and I have always gone to Rosie's because they give the plants a healthy start, ensuring that perrenials will last for years to come and annuals won't shrivel up and die the second you transplant them like flowers from Lowes. The icing on the cake is how welcoming and nice the staff are. They're always helpful in finding what you're looking for and helping to load heavy bags of potting soil or large plants. Overall, I think the word needs to get out more about Rosie's in the gardening community. They have won me over for life, and I would always recommend this place to friends that are interested in building their own garden.

A marvelous selection of annuals and perennials with flowering trees and shrubs arrive in early spring and summer. Autumn plants are impressive here with ornamental cabbage and kale, along with colorful mums and other fillers helping to refresh my landscaping. The interior of Country Harmony is not to be missed. Stunning and unique home decor items, along with helpful owners who will work with you to create spectacular decor for your home. Take pictures with measurements (very important) into the shop for assistance. I fell in love with 2 sets of framed prints I'm trying to decide between or maybe both. I need to take pictures of the area(s) with measurements they'll be hung in. I received some creative ideas and suggestions. Candles, picture frames, vases, prints, and wall decor plus more are throughout the shop. Great place to pick up a gift item. Indoor plants are available in the gardening area in the back of the shop. Potting soil along with various size pots is available. Call to check on winter hours. I was told they'll be open most if not all weekends, but weekdays may vary.

I found a lot of what I needed (cleaners, light bulbs, candles, air fresheners and towels) for the job. As with other closeout stores, their stock is limited to what they get access to, which makes it a new experience each trip. Some of their selections included food, books, beauty, household and electronics. Sign up for the shoppers rewards for additional savings. The register aisle featured a Mars candy closeout, so I grabbed some gum and a M&Ms sharing size for the plane trip home.

The prices are still lower than other stores on some things though. Today I had a question about the pillows I was purchasing the sign on the bin said 2.99 it did not specify size only the name brand. I asked an associate and he assured me it was all of them, when I got to the register it rang a dollar higher not much but not the point. The cashier kindly asked for a price check and the woman who came to the register to answer us, I can only assume she was management, was very rude and dismissive about it being the other size and only one bin and not the other as she walked away. Treat your customers as if you would like them to come back there are other stores to shop.
