Located in Fishers and Muncie, I really like this nursery. They have plants and pre-made planters that are different than the big box stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. Prices are a little higher but your not getting the same stuff that is shipped in on pallets at the box stores. A nice touch is that you can bring in containers that seal and get free water that has a fertilizer mixed in for your plants and flowers. I belive it is not for use on vegetables. Also, you can sip on an adult beverage as you're strolling around that can be purchased at the check out counter. I've gotten se real of my reported plants here over the last several years and they hold up nice thru the whole summer. Every single time I have come here the employees act like it's their first day on earth. I ask for prices on pumpkins because having signs up would be too damn easy. She was like PUMPKINS? PRICES? Like girl. Yes you sell pumpkins. Nothing was marked at all. I don't care if it was day 1 or day 20 of the season. Have your price list up. Then checking out. Oh lord help me. The 262919363)37 year old woman couldn't figure out how to prove anything. I taught her each pumpkin had a sticker on it that went with the sheet she had beside her. She went at a speed of one pumpkin per hour. I tried to tell her the color stickers on the pumpkins but now. She couldn't accept that. We had to wait for another employee to come over and say "blue". "Two green". Once that was FINALLY over. WHAT DO YOU KNOW her computer was t working. So we had to do it all. AGAIN. She also didn't understand wanting a hay bale from the shed. Had to explain that to CNN we too. My god train your employees because you release them into the wild. read more

So many options! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's categorized as $$$ but it's really not too bad. Pretty standard pricing for live plants, considering I got the same exact plant from Walmart prior, same price, but it was a root rot mess. Great nursery/garden center--I finally stopped in here today to see what they had available, and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. I decided to request a landscaping quote for a small area near my condo, and I'm excited to see what they come up with! In addition to a large selection of trees and plants, they also have a cute indoor space with plants, planters/pots, door mats, and little gifts. I liked the signs they had by each plant and tree - the prices were clearly shown, but they also have tips for watering, sun, etc. It made it seem a little less overwhelming for a plant newbie like myself. They also had a bunch of little red car/wagons that you can use when you go with your kids in tow. Super cute and a nice touch. read more

Such a beautiful nursery. A large selection of plants and the home/gift shop area has unique items. Even if you're not looking to buy plants it's a nice spot to check out. There's a really nice koi pond and strolling the grounds is very peaceful. There's even a gazebo with outdoor kitchen for events. The staff are very friendly but they don't follow you around or keep pestering you like some places. They're available to help without being overbearing. Also, they provide free fertilizer. There's a dispenser outside. You can bring your own container or they have bottles to purchase. read more

The plants at this nursery are high quality! I bought some annuals a couple years ago, I brought them in during the winter and now two years later they are still beautiful! The staff at Wasson's is very well informed and professional. They have good advice and it is a full service nursery. You can purchase plants and manage them yourself or you can order and they will plant for you. I have not used it but I believe that they also do landscape design. In addition to plants they have very nice pots and planting accessories. During Covid you can also order online and do curbside pickup. There are marked spots in front of you order ahead. I highly recommend Wasson's if you are in need of plants or landscape help. read more

Great place to come for unique flowers! Prices aren't as crazy as some other nurseries in the area, but still pricier than I'd like. We also recently attended their Halloween event and it was so much fun. Full of food trucks, activities, firemen chili cook off, largest pumpkin contest, balloon animals, petting zoo, pony rides, and more. The kids loved it!! read more

Went to Wasson to find a good hydrangea plant and was so happy with the selection! Tom helped us to find the perfect hydrangea bush - he explained to us the different options and variants in size and color and helped us pick out a bush in great shape. The nursery offers a wide variety of plants that are healthy and vibrant. They also employ knowledgeable people to answer your questions. In order to have such premium plants you will have to pay premium prices. For example, a Japanese maple was tagged $449 and it was beautiful, but at Menard's I found the same plant, not as mature, for $89 on clearance. I recommend this nursery for all the reasons listed above, but if you are budget conscious you should look around before making your purchase. read more

We had a wonderful experience overall but one employee wasn't the most helpful. I bought my mom a garden box for Mother's Day. We needed to fill it and had an idea but wanted to know cost, if they could deliver and what they thought would be best. We talked to one lady who was helpful and said she'd get someone to help us. She brought over Matt who when we tried to explain kind of brushed us off. We wanted to know how much soil we would need and how much it would cost. He kind of blew us off and said they'd handle it inside. With further pushing he told us what to ask for but wasn't much help otherwise. However we got inside and the guy checking us out explained everything, joked with us and made sure we had the exact total and was super helpful. Maybe Matt just had a bad day. read more

I'll admit, despite giving this a one star on my last review, I've been here a few times and discovered some things I loved (some garden decor-never any plants as it's a small selection of nothing special). After today though, I'm never going back. If there was a negative star rating, Wasson's deserves it. On my way in today I saw three giant pots-normally $200 each, marked down to 60%. I browsed the whole store, and inquired on the price of a fit pit. The woman in the nursery yard was helpful in getting the price. I decided against the fire pit, but wanted to get the pots. I explained that I'd like to buy the pots, but as they would not fit in my car, I'd have someone pick them up. The woman was helpful and took the upc inside to ring me up. The woman from the yard explained to the middle aged that I was buying the containers and wanted to pick them up later. They asked, can you pick them up today? I said no, that it would be in the next few days. "We can't hold sale items" the middle aged woman at the register said. "Even if I pay for them?" I asked. "No," she said, 'we don't have the room to hold things, and we have our pumpkin event in a few days". If you've ever been to this place it occupies like what is probably 8+ *sparsely-merchandised* acres for being supposedly some sort of "outdoor living" center. There's plenty of space EVERYWHERE to tuck three pots for a few days. I said "never mind" and left. Between my own purchases and the purchases I make for work (which is what these pots were for) probably spend $10,000 a year on garden supplies, like pottery, perennials, annuals, stone, accessories and more. Prior to Allisonville Nursery being being taken over by Sullivan's they'd always tuck my purchases behind their barn until my team could pick them up. I now spend almost all my garden budget at Rosie's Gardens. They are great people who appreciate me as a customer and value my business. Go there! Also, at Rosie's I just bought a 7 gallon Firelight tree-form hydrangea-I got it on sale, 20% off $159. The same plant at Wasson's was $215. Do yourself a favor and stay away. This place is huge and seems to offer a little something from every garden category. But that's the problem, too many plants, very little variety. And what they have is in almost all of the other garden centers but at a higher price. So disappointed. It isn't a bad place to go if you're just starting your garden. read more

I really enjoy going to Wassons even if it is just to look around and not buy anything. Everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful! They have a great set-up and lots of ideas to look at for your back yard. My family is very impressed with their koi pond. They have some impressive ones. We were told that this set of fish was their 3rd set because the water in Fishers is different than in Muncie where their original store is located. I liked that they did not give up and kept trying until they got their pond and water correct! Throughout the year they hold different events. Everyone that I have been to has been wonderful! They even bring in other local businesses to promote them during their events. Their selection of plants in the spring is very nice! A fabulous garden center! They offer free plant liquid fertilizer. A very nice plus. Bring your own jug or buy one from them for reuse. I did by a plant that died later. I brought the picture in of the plant and they took care of it. Very honest people. They also have a members reward program so they keep the list of your purchases. They warranty plants for 1 year from purchase. Very fair. All employees are wearing mask. They have you check out inside of the store. I told them I did not want to go in so they took my card and plants inside for me. Very nice service. They also have a beautiful Koi pond. Don't forget to stop and look at it. Very impressed by everyone I interacted with. You can tell they are knowledgeable and have high quality plants. They were able to order us the trees we were looking for and were very professional during the installation process. A huge thank you goes out to Jared Johnson, Dan Wasson, and the entire Wasson Nursery team for the beautiful landscaping project they just completed to our home in Fishers. We had contacted the Wasson team to redesign our current overgrown and out-of-place beds and add metal edging throughout the yard. They intently listened to our concerns and needs and designed a plan that was clean, modern, and low maintenance which was exactly what we had hoped for. Jared's install team was led by a gentleman named Daniel and they were all extremely professional, courteous, and efficient. It was a three-day project and each evening when they were finished they spent time completely cleaning up the yard and watering down the new plant material. The finished product was exactly what we were looking for and now we have the rest of the summer and fall to enjoy it. I also purchased perennials for my front porch planters from their nursery and couldn't believe the unique selection they had available. I found the prices to be in-line with any other high-quality nursery in town. In a few months, we plan to do a deck extension and will no doubt contact the Wasson team to design and execute a plan for us. read more

My go to place for my plants! I admit I only live about a mile away, so it is convenient for me. This season I've been 3 times so far and each time they have new plants, some I've not seen at other places or some never seen before. I was looking for specific plants for a hummingbird planter and they had them all! Made my project that much easier, so I didn't have to run all over town. Yes, they may be slightly more expensive, but the quality and variety of the plants are so much better than the big box stores. Also, I noticed that they sell local growers products as well. There also is someone always willing to help you and provide advice if you are unsure of what you are looking to buy. Last summer, toward the end of the season, during their end of season sale I bought 3 Miss Kim Lilacs, the leaves looked tired and moldy, didn't know if they would make it. I took a chance for the price, and did exactly what the woman at Wasson's recommended, this spring they ALL came back to bloom and look and smell wonderful! Wasson recently opened and I have to say, it is nice having a nursery so conveniently located. It's a beautiful place and well-kept. The staff are very friendly and eager to help, from the cashiers to the mulch delivery/tree installers. That said, it is on the expensive side so be prepared to pay more than you would at a smaller greenhouse. And sign up for the rewards card, it's nice being able to redeem the points at the register. read more

They have unique ceramic pottery and high quality houseplants that I've had more success with than purchasing anywhere else. You can even fill up your own container with fertilizer during your visit! Even though they are a bit more expensive, you get what you pay for, trust me! I have purchased plants from super markets and online that have caused pest infestations, which I didn't catch until it was way too late whereas you know that the plants you are purchasing from here have been thoroughly inspected. I now have over 40 houseplants and have learned a lot along the way, so take it from me that investing in plants from a plant store that is passionate about what they do is important. read more

We attended a very cool event sponsored by Fuzzy's vodka Tonight and it was a very nice atmosphere. I walked around the nursery for a bit great plants all very fresh healthy. The event was held in an outdoor space to showcase there outdoor kitchens, patios, and Grilling stations. The outdoor space was excellent and showcased all that. The event was very nice as well. They had a mixologist that infused the herbs they sell at the nursery in the vodka, and then demonstrated three drink recipes. They also had BoomBozz pizza serving food. Wii will be back to purchase plants and outdoor decor, and also attend any future event they hold like tonight. read more

I purchased five trees from Wasson a little less than two years ago. One of the evergreens had to be replaced a year later. Now a year later the replacement seems to be diseased and dead as well. All the other evergreens seem to be doing okay. I have simply been trying to get a response for almost a month and finally on May 4th I was told that replacement trees carried no warranty - Never was told that at purchase. Now I am stuck with another dead tree from the nursery. I am very disappointed in Wasson. Have purchased the majority of our plants from them but will not purchase anymore in the future. read more

We wanted to plant something to grow on our trellis. I contacted several different nurseries and Wasson was by far the friendliest, most helpful, and most reasonably priced. Beth listened to what I wanted and made a suggestion to plant wisteria. She looked at photos of the deck to decide the best place to plant them. The wisteria are now in the ground and look great! The team that planted them extended the flower bed, planted them and then put mulch on top (that matched the mulch already there). It's very professionally done. I will never go anywhere else. They have a large selection of everything you can imagine for the outdoors. I could spend every Saturday there! read more
