OMG !! This place is huge. This was my first visit and I'm glad I found this place. They have an excellent selection of trees, plants, shrubs, and both perennial and annual flowers. I was looking for some perennial flowers to plant at the front of the house that would come back every year. Most home box stores only have a limited selection of perennials and usually don't have any at all. At this place I was overwhelmed by how much they had in stock to choose from. It's all great quality plants and flowers and the best part is it's about half the price you'd spend at the home box store. The prices were so good I filled up on several different bright colored flowers from dianthus to begonias to impatiens. I'm definitely coming back next year. read more

When I'm looking for a special plant for my garden, I go to Perennials Plus. The plants are the highest quality in the area and they always have what I'm looking for. This week, I was on a mission to find creeping phlox for a new garden bed in my yard. (My mother had phlox in the yard when I was growing up, so it brings back memories.) I called and they immediately said yes, they had some. The parking lot was packed when I arrived mid week. People had carts filled with annuals. A clerk et me in the parking lot and knew exactly where to send me for the phlox. The greenhouses are immense and pristine. The plants are beautiful and healthy. They had the phlox that I was looking for in three different colors. I picked the lavender. There were lots of beautiful hanging baskets and yard decor that was tempting, but I resisted. Check out was easy in the main building. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the plants. Three days later, the phlox is thriving in my yard. read more

I felt like a kid in a candy store. the plants are beautiful and in great shape. The prices and plant info displays are clear and prominent. Amazing, stunning, over the top, outrageous...ample? selection of plants. What started as a wholesale operation is now open to the public and well worth the trip. I picked up about half a dozen very cool grasses including Leymus Blue Dune, Carex (muskingumensis), Northern Sea Oats and the very cool Bouteloua Gracilis (Blond Ambition) which is a variant of prairie mosquito grass. I love Perennials Plus. This is a wholesale business that is willing to sell to the public. It is common that wholesale businesses do not have extra salespeople, most of their customers are buying in bulk and know what they want so the business should not be expected to operate as a retail store. I have found nearly all their plants are at a significant savings and their selection is huge and their plants are correctly watered and very healthy. There plants are nearly always well marked and if I don't find a price, I ask. read more

Made another trip to Perennial Plus today and love this place! The owners are amazing people, always so helpful with advice and tips. This is a local business that takes great pride and time to grow and offer an amazing selection of annuals, perennials, succulents, trees, shrubs, you name it! Heck they were running on a skeleton crew today bc several of the employees and one owner was at a show/convention seeing several new things that will hit the market in the next couple of years. The prices are great and comparable to big box companies....but the things you get here are usually much larger and healthier. You may get a warranty elsewhere, but you won't get the knowledge, the quality and the satisfaction of helping sustain a local business! Already looking forward to the fall! I've enjoyed buying perennials, annuals, trees, and shrubs from Perennials Plus for almost ten years now. They have a huge selection and the perennials are in "true gallon" pots, not the more-often-found "trade gallon" pots, which are smaller. It's very nice that this nursery is open to the public for retail sales, but it should be realized that they are primarily a wholesale grower for professional landscapers and municipalities. They are a hard-working bunch of employees and are very busy. If you need help, ask! All of the plants are labeled and marked for prices. (If they are not, they most likely are still in production and not ready for sale.) read more

I purchased 2 Spireas from Perennials Plus and they both died within 2 weeks of purchase. I also purchased 2 of the same plants from Home Depot the same day. I planted them all on the same side of the house. The Home Depot ones are fine but the 2 from Perennial Plus did not even make 2 weeks. I have also heard bad things from my neighbors. While their selection is amazing, their prices are not. If you are a member of the general public you pay the retail price. Not worth the drive when you would pay the same price at other local nurseries. The point of going to a wholesale place is to get wholesale prices. read more

I would give this company zero stars if I could. This is the first time that I have been to this business. When I got there there was not one employee that came and asked me if I needed any help. I asked an older gentleman to tell me where the plants were that I was looking for. He stood right where he was and pointed out to me what direction they were from where we were standing. I had asked him another question and again he was extremely unfriendly and very unhelpful. The flowers and plants are not marked with any prices. So when I went to the register and realized that I did not want to pay $95.00 for a Knockout Rose Tree the very nice girl at the register told me to just leave it outside the office and she would take care of it. So as I was unloading the trees off the cart the same older gentleman asked if I was not buying the trees. I told him no I wasn't because I did not realize how expensive they were. He said to me well I think you know where you got these trees from and you can go and put them back there. I said I know exactly where I got them from and the lady in the office told me to leave them right here. He said fine I will take care of them myself. HE IS THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY!!!!! He has no respect for his customers at all. I will never buy another thing from this company again after I realized the owner treats his customers this way. I would not recommend anyone to buy anything there unless you do not mind being treated poorly. read more
