I love the lawn and garden center here, and today there are beautiful mums and other fall plants. I was also searching for a particular succulent today, and after searching every garden center and nursery in the area I thought I would check Home Depot since I was in the area. I was greeted as I walked in, and I headed for the indoor plant section. I was amazed to find the plant I had been searching for at every area nursery, African milk tree (Euphorbia trigona) There was an entire section of them, all very healthy looking and at an unbelievably inexpensive price. The information with them said that they were raised especially for Home Depot on a family farm in California, providing the family farm bio. I purchased several, and the friendly cashier mentioned that another customer had bought an entire cart full of them. I told her they were hard to find and I was very happy to find them here. So Home Depot is definitely more than a home improvement store. The next time you are looking for indoor plants be sure to check them out. read more

So I'm a closet big box shopper. And this Home Depot is my favorite big box. I can find what I need almost always and the staff is friendly. Today, I picked up my orange oil for furniture restoration. The Christmas decor is fully out and there's hardly any Halloween decor left. There is an abundance of pre-lit trees and interesting blow mold decorations. Check out was easy and friendly. Prices are reasonable. I'm sure I'll be back to do some Christmas shopping. read more

11 days ago spent $1000 on new grill products along with approximately 5 dozen new perennial plants for my mom's yard. Planted all 5 dozen plants. 8 days later, 9 of the 5 dozen plants died...all the same variety, all from the same carton of plants. So less than 10 plants out of the 60. The rest of the plants are fine. Took a picture of the dead plants to the store - store manager insisted that the picture AND receipt was not enough - I had to bring in the dead plants. I asked him if he was sure - YES was the answer. I returned to the store an hour later after digging up the dead plants just to have the customer service rep tell me that I was right and a different manager said I did not have to bring the dead flowers back to receive the refund. I also helped the clerk throw the dead flowers (that I brought back) straight in the trash can - store manager didn't even examine what I returned. I did receive a refund. TOTAL WASTE of my time and energy. Complete slap in the face. read more

Will say anything to be your first choice, don't waste your time. Further any company using Market Delivery service in the area, you should avoid. They are dishonest, I would not let them in my home. The last attempt resulted in us canceling our order. The Home Depot sent them out to deliver an appliance. The team did not want to drive down the long driveway we have. They lied about why after sitting in the street for 20 min and refusing to call me as I asked, I was inside waiting for them. The Home Depot manager tried but failed to get them to deliver. She assured us that if we ordered from the store next time, it would be absolutely no problem. Several months later, we ordered several new appliances and reminded the store person about the delivery people and the trouble we had. With in a day I got a call from the Market Delivery people saying trees over the drive way were too low based on google maps. I took time to talk to the store manager and see what was going on. They explained that basically if the Market Delivery people that they contract with say they won't deliver, then they won't and it is too bad for you. Excuses given were that a dolly would harm the floors, the street is not safe to park on, the trees were too low, too much liability to walk the appliance down the drive way... etc.. The Home Depot said they can't deliver anything outside of these people. In short, the previous store manager lied about being able to do anything. This wasted about 3 days of our time in total. The Home Depot, in my opinion, has a partnership with a dishonest company and could not care less what The Home Depot said or sold. In earlier years there were no issues with delivering a washer and dryer or a new dishwasher. Despite the word of their store manager and main office, they refuse to do anything. During all discussions, we were reassured it was no problem. So, save your time and money. If they use Market Delivery then shop elsewhere. If Home Depot is involved, don't take the word of their management, it is worthless and won't be honored. Time to bring back the family-owned businesses, never saw such an attitude or disregard for customers at those places. read more

Staff behind the paint counter was helpful and made sure I got what I needed. Behr has new weird cans and they had to explain how the spout worked. So this weekend it is panting time. read more

I'm writing this review specifically for curbside delivery. I ordered a coffee bean grinder from Home Depot because surprisingly (to me anyway) they were the ones that had the brand I wanted for the least expensive price. It took about a week to ship to the store. By having it sent to the store I saved the shipping fee. I pulled into an allocated curbside spot, I called the number listed on the sign, & gave my order number. Within minutes a gentleman brought my order out. Excellent service. Was here by myself looking for driveway sealant. I asked for help as I didn't see the particular sealant on the shelf. The staff member searched for not one, not two, but three different spots for the sealant. Finally finding it in a shipping container way in the top. Used a machine to get it down for me. At check out, the cashier asked me if I wanted help loading into my car. I did, the gentleman was so fast and pleasant. I've always had good interactions here but this one was particularly great. At other Home Depot's it's hard to get anyone to go beyond searching the shelf for you. read more

I had a really positive experience here this week that included great above and beyond customer service from the garden and landscaping department. With only thirty minutes to hustle around and find everything I needed between errands, their help was a game changer to pull it all together. During my visit I picked up garden soil, tropical house plants, annuals, and a few tomato plans. Everything appeared to be sturdy and in good health. The garden center was especially tidy and easy to navigate. I was a little bummed to find that they don't often have a clearance section in the gardening center. I love me some nearly dying plants to revive... ;) Overall, a very positive experience. read more

I received part of it and we encounter a problem with one of the orders which was missing hardware, until this point we are still waiting on it. We live in Indy and we shop at the Carmel store. We recently purchased our floating floor from Home Depot and paid for installation too. The worse experience ever they delayed our project and gave us lame excuses for the delay. The installers made us pay $2800 more for leveling and started putting our floor down without doing the job right. We took photographs which I tried to share with the but the inspector from Crew 2 (installers company) today and he refused to see it. The flooring manager Carly at Home Depot has yelled at me and offered me $100 in compensation for all the inconvenience we have suffered. We suffered a delay before and after, wrong installation, lost boxes, misrepresentation and got yelled at after we paid Home Depot close to $16,000 for flooring. Thanks Home Depot for the great service and after calling and recording multiple complaints the district manager still hasn't reached out to us. I have documented my entire experience from photos of floor being laid on a cracked floor to installers acknowledging the issue and then not honoring their word. Love this location. It is very conveniently located near a lot of other popular large name stores, so it makes your errands a tad bit easier. Parking lot is large and easy to navigate. All store associates were very friendly and helpful when asked a question. When it comes to hardware related things, I am not very knowledgeable so I always appreciate someone know is wise in that area. A lot of them have personal experience so they offer their opinion on which products and brands they have used and what worked well for them. On my last visit, I just so happened to come in on a day that they had an AMAZING plant sale so I was able to get all the plants I needed for a great price. read more

The majority of staff at this location also seem to really know the products they sell and can answer questions. The store is clean and well-organized. I like this location! To be honest, I find Home Depot and Lowes to be interchangeable, for the most part, but I frequent this Home Depot over Lowes because of where it is located: near a Super Target and HomeGoods. The employees will leave you alone to browse, but seem willing to answer questions when asked. People with young kids: This Home Depot has special shopping carts that look like cars! That makes shopping with pipsqueaks a little easier. read more

*Warning Women* So excited to buy a new refrigerator, Victor talked up a certain brand and sold.. The delivery company was horrible! Kid Gloves, DENTING the fridge and my freshly stained wood molding, in addition to tossing a key part for the water and ice machine. After two days of phone calls and discovering the fridges defective design for ice and water as well as the freezing of everything in the fridge over night, on the factory settings mind you, I was over it, calling Victor, who's story changed. Who now is bashing the model he sold me.. Then telling me I'd have to pay 15%restocking fee.. Seriously.. Over $300! After his back and forth I was fed up. I called corporate. told my story, and with in 24 hours the manager was on the phone happy to do what ever he could to make us happy. New fridge delivered, other one removed, and no other damage to my home this time, I expected a phone call from the two company's. To just show they cared about my horrid experience and nothing. Wow. I've worked with hundreds of customer service reps over the years and Larry at this Home Depot was one of the rudest, meanest individuals I've ever worked with. His fellow reps gave me bad information about a rental requirement around gas. I made mention that they had given me different instructions and he immediately raised his voice, got very angry, and proceeded to yell at me. ANOTHER rep had taken the keys from me and told me I was all good... I got back in line anyways because it seemed like the process wasn't finished. I was right. It needed to be closed out but these two other reps had given bad info and not known the processes. I told Larry these man. He treated me like I was the stupidest person on the planet. This man should not represent Home Depot as a face of customer service. Not to mention I heard him barking orders at workers before I picked up the truck and gosh. Talk about condescending. I feel bad for those working with him. I'm glad I'm moving near of Lowe's. This was really disheartening to see as a HD loyalist. read more

Good experience here last Saturday. Needed a piece of wood for a home project, but it had to be a specific size. One of the workers was able to cut it for me to the propper dimensions. She was also able to get on the intercom and have someone meet me in the gardening section for another project. Both employees who assisted me were really helpful. It would have been nice to have been offerred help first without having to ask for it, but once I found an employee and asked for help the service I received was very good. read more

I stopped in here very briefly to look at some landscaping supplies. Not a single employee was wearing a mask during a pandemic when masks are definitely shown to reduce transmission of a serious disease. As a scientist myself and a member of the community, I was extremely disappointed and disheartened. It almost seemed like employees were told they couldn't wear masks because I saw at least 25 employees. No masks. No social distancing. Employees working in groups. Most customers wore masks but they can easily be infected by the non masked employees! Such a disappointment. Never shopping here again. Ever. True colors are shown during times of adversity and I will support businesses that choose to do the right things during hard times. Do NOT buy Behr paint! Some genius at corporate there decided that they needed to save a penny's worth of steel in the lid, so they made the rolled lip shorter. My paint key (made to open paint cans) just peels it up! It took me 10 minutes to open this can and now the lid is destroyed, there is no way this can will seal properly. read more

I had looked online at electric cordless lawn mowers but still wasn't sure of what I wanted so I went into this store. I am so glad I made the long drive. After asking for help and not getting it, I walked past a gentleman who asked if I needed help. I am so thankful that he did! His name is Jim, in the garden center, and he was the nicest, most pleasant store employee from any store I've ever entered. He happened to own the brand (different model) of what I was looking for so was able to give me first hand review. He also went out of his way to help me set it up and load it into my vehicle.
