The most beautiful mums in Indy! As soon as I turned in the parking lot I saw mums of every color, so beautiful! This was my first visit to Alice's Garden, although I frequently patronized the former nursery that occupied this location. The inside of this store is very nicely arranged and well organized. The plants are beautiful, and there is an amazing variety of pots and accessories. The two ladies were so helpful and knowledgeable! I was able to find a plant for a friend that she had been searching for, a pitcher plant. Prices are reasonable, on both plants and accessories. I'm looking forward to returning. A nice experience!

A fun mushroom pot that is holding my bookmarks until a plant needs to be repotted!

A must stop at, small business where everyone who works there possesses an awe-inspiring knowledge of indoor and outdoor plants! I have found the health and value of all plants that I have purchased here to be much better than in years past where I would shop elsewhere. Truly, they know what they are talking about! I said I wanted plants that could support pollinators on my city balcony, I took their recommendations, and within one day I already had honey bees stopping by! The planters I have purchased here are beautiful and I can tell that they will last a long time.

It's always a fabulous experience at Alice's Garden! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and plenty of unique plants, vegetables, flowers and trees. We had questions about trees and received great information and even was able to pay to have the trees delivered because we did not live far! Highly recommend stopping in this wonderful, local nursery

It's a great place. It's small. The ladies are kind and helpful. It's a bit pricey probably bc they can't do volume.

This location in Nora is much larger that it looks from the street. There are two buildings and the outdoor spaces is packed with healthy, beautiful plants. The front building is a gift store with garden-themed home decor, jewelry and other items. The rear building has house plants, pottery, plant care chemicals, bird food and houses and more. I asked about controlling bugs on one of my house plants. The clerk was knowledgable and asked a few questions and diagnosed my problem as spider mites. She offered a few options and made a recommendation for spray that I could try. This is the kind of service that you won't get in a big box store. I also picked up several fun greeting cards. The business has always had a calming atmosphere with their setups of running fountains and planters at the forefront of the establishment. Heading deeper past the wide array of various sized planters, you can find almost any kind of plant you're looking for. They have both perrenials and stunning annual flowers as well as your classic hastas, ferns, and different kinds of shrubbery. Additionally they have hanging baskets that my mom and I always used to choose from for my grandmother as a present on Mother's Day. My personal favorites to look for that they have in are the different types of climbing vine plants they have such as clematis and candy corn plants. When I was old enough I received my own plot of my mom's garden to fill with my own plants, so of course we went to Rosie's, and we were able to find even some of the most obscure flowers that I wanted. My personal favorite that I was able to find was a mock orange bush. I can proudly say that my garden is thriving because of Rosie's care and devotion. The best part about Rosie's though, is that their plants are well taken care of. My mom and I have always gone to Rosie's because they give the plants a healthy start, ensuring that perrenials will last for years to come and annuals won't shrivel up and die the second you transplant them like flowers from Lowes. The icing on the cake is how welcoming and nice the staff are. They're always helpful in finding what you're looking for and helping to load heavy bags of potting soil or large plants. Overall, I think the word needs to get out more about Rosie's in the gardening community. They have won me over for life, and I would always recommend this place to friends that are interested in building their own garden.

He seemed agitated and cut me off mid-sentence and walked away from the register. He also said he would 'check with someone.' The cashier and I were both confused by this. She asked him to confirm whether or not he was talking to someone else about it while he was standing 10 feet away noticeably not busy. He scoffed and replied 'I'm not doing that today' while rolling his eyes. The cashier looked uncomfortable and apologized to me. The manager didn't care if I made a purchase or not. I'm not sure if he was in a bad mood before I came in, but he was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional in a situation that could have easily been treated with more grace. The other Sullivan locations nearby have been amazing with their customer service. I recommend shopping with any one of them instead.
