The young person that helped me told me that they also got the plant for their grandmother during her battle with cancer. He also steered me away from peace Lillies because we didn't want to give funeral vibes. It was a beautiful experience and I ended up getting her 2. A large one for the room and one right by her on her night stand. He went above and beyond nagging sure I got the most full plants with great color. After settling on rooibos, I asked how the bulk tea worked and was told to scoop what I wanted into a bag and they would weigh it at the counter. I then asked a simple question: about how much does one scoop weigh? I was just trying to estimate whether I wanted two ounces, four ounces, or something in between. The answer was basically, "I don't know," with no attempt to help beyond that. That might sound small, but the entire interaction felt dismissive. If I'm standing in your shop with my child trying to buy a product you sell by weight, a little patience and basic assistance goes a long way. Kids can enjoy herbal tea too. Families have different traditions, routines, and food cultures. I wasn't looking for commentary or judgment. I was simply trying to buy tea for my kid. I left empty-handed and won't be returning.

You think I would learn, but the excitement gets the best of me. This past Sunday, we started mapping out plans for the yard for the season and decided to pop over and check out what was available. I forgot how large this place is. Greenhouse after greenhouse after greenhouse filled with tropical plants, vegetables, bushes, and flowers. We ended up leaving with a climbing, rosebush, kale, collard greens, birdseed, and lots of compost. We will definitely be back to purchase the remainder of our flowers and vegetables for the season. Most home box stores only have a limited selection of perennials and usually don't have any at all. At this place I was overwhelmed by how much they had in stock to choose from. It's all great quality plants and flowers and the best part is it's about half the price you'd spend at the home box store. The prices were so good I filled up on several different bright colored flowers from dianthus to begonias to impatiens. I'm definitely coming back next year.

A clerk et me in the parking lot and knew exactly where to send me for the phlox. The greenhouses are immense and pristine. The plants are beautiful and healthy. They had the phlox that I was looking for in three different colors. I picked the lavender. There were lots of beautiful hanging baskets and yard decor that was tempting, but I resisted. Check out was easy in the main building. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the plants. Three days later, the phlox is thriving in my yard.
