The substituted arrangement was not even in the same color family of my requested arrangement. I called the owner & he said he didn't have the correct flowers because his stock was low due to Valentine's Day which was 7 days before my order. He said he has to substitute "alot". When I asked why he didn't call me he said he was too busy. But he had no problem calling me back to verify my credit card number. He apparently had written it down incorrectly. He said it was too late to do anything about flowers. That's when I asked for my credit card to be credited a partial refund. He told me I would have to come to the shop so he could swipe my card. He said he was very busy & was leaving to make deliveries & wouldn't be back today- that I would have to come to the shop tomorrow. I did have a bit of a red flag when I placed my order because he had to pull his van off the road to take my order. I thought it was odd that no one was in the shop to take order. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. If he had only called to let me know he couldn't fulfill my order as requested, I would have been fine with substitution. He later said he substitutes "alot". Tomorrow I will go to the flower shop to get my account credited. And I will take future business elsewhere.

This shop in part of the old Gosport Opera House has a variety of items that you see in places all over central Indiana. I don't recall seeing much as far as antiques or old collectibles, but they do have things like candles and knick knacks to look through. Of note, there is a board game based upon the town of Gosport which was established in 1829. The game is filled with historic places in Gosport. The actual town of Gosport used to print its own money back in the 1830's, so the money used in the game is based upon that early style, not actual American currency. Review #1781
