Where: Corner of 6th & Morton - Entrance is the purple door with their logo on it - located on the south side of the building next to the parking lot - this was the former home of Paper Crane Gallery. Workshops: I have taken the Introduction Screen Printing Workshop and it was great. For just $30 you get a 3 hour workshop where they take you through all parts of the process and you end up walking out of there with finished product. They are super helpful and really informative. I don't know if they have an age minimum but I think with a parent 12+ would be fine. I can't wait to take the image carving class. Free Print Times: They have available times where you can come in and utilize their equipment. The fee is super reasonable ($5/hr) and there are people there to help you. That being said, I recommend taking one of the intro classes first. Gallery/Work for Sale: They usually have some items for sale or on display but this really is more of a functioning studio than a traditional gallery space. That being said, if they do have an open house during a gallery walk I highly recommend you check them out! Odd/Ends: There is no air conditioning in the workshop so come prepared with some water, there are bathrooms on-site, and they can work from images both in-hand or those on a flash drive or emailed to them. They have a ramp into the building but I wouldn't put them in the super-accessible category just because so much of the work needs to be done while standing. Parking is on the street or in the lot located to the south side of the building.

The films feature nice variety: series of shorts and feature length films, including documentaries, comedies, dramatic pieces, and weird (or at least, weird to me, but hey, I'm a novice) artistic stuff. As you might expect, some of the pieces I saw were excellent and memorable, some were forgettable, and some were not very good or interesting. But it's definitely a great way to spend a day exploring cinema. The small-town location makes it really easy: the venues are all in easy walking distance of each other (as are great nearby bars and restaurants), and it's easy to find cheap parking for the day. Plus there was unlimited free LaCroix water available at the main location! I'm hoping to be able to check out Middle Coast Film Festival again in 2018.

The corn maze closes earlier than that because it "gets dark in there real fast." Personally I think they should do some sort of haunted corn maze and stay open later, but I'm sure they have their reasons. The patch is your average pumpkin patch. It's fun to roam for a few minutes, but I ended up picking mine from a trailer full. There's a barn with a couple goats and donkeys, and some cute photo props. They also have a hay ride and a little kids train type thing (The rides are an additional cost.) I recommend going when they have live music, because it goes on until 8pm. They have a beer garden, so you can enjoy the evening with music and some beautiful outdoor lighting. Fun for an evening date that's not a far drive- especially if you live on the west side.

At each tent they sell ethnic food from the respective country. This year the featured country was India. I especially love this event because you get to try a bit of different foods from different countries. This year I tried out the Greece booth and had a lamb gyro. It was excellent. There is also a Biergarten serving beers/wines from the different countries. In the back of the expo there were tents set up with merchandise for purchase. I hope in the years to come they continue expanding and more countries are represented. You can definitely get a taste of a few ethnicities. It's usually located behind the Columbus city hall so you will have to find a spot in the free parking downtown and walk.

About 35 food vendors are on site from all sorts of different countries, ethnicity, etc. serving anywhere from 3 - 4 items to a dozen items of amazingly terrific food. There's something for everyone (including a tent dedicated to nothing but desserts. It's something to behold). Each year a different country / ethnicity will host the event. In 2019 India will host and will have featured entertainers (as well as the 1st booth you come to as you head south from downtown Columbus). Speaking of entertainment, it's non-stop on 3 different stages including one inside the biergarten. Many of the booths are sponsored by non-profits who summon volunteers to help with the effort. Always great to see money going to good causes. Additionally, there's southern Indiana's coolest parade at 11 am on Sat. as well as about a dozen non-food vendors. They top it off with fireworks Saturday evening. Just loads of fun. I've read past reviews saying there were awfully long lines for the bathroom, but there were so many portable bathrooms this year. I saw people waiting around but never a "long" line. The porta potties weren't that bad. They aren't the cleanest things with drunk people peeing all over them, but they weren't bad. I do wish that were more options for non-drinker DDs like me. I enjoyed the food. How about making food free for the red banded non-drinkers? Hmmm. Great event on a really nice day. Aaaand in my boyfriend's eyes it was "THE BEST DAY EVER" haha.
