My parents live out of state and wanted to deliver flowers for my birthday. They ordered from Watt's Blooming for the first time. They asked for tulips and they only had a couple on hand but promised to use them and make some sort of arrangement for me. They texted before delivery (which was great! To make sure I was home) and then dropped them off on my porch. The arrangement was beautiful and I followed their care instructions and they lasted for nearly two weeks. I have yet to step foot in the shop but I am already mega impressed! My dear friends threw a shower for me in which they had arrangements delivered from watts blooming. My understanding is my friend called, gave a request for spring colored pieces for tables, and what came was stunning! I'm considering buying flowers from there weekly for my home and now that I read they have a shop cat I'm all the more excited!!! They also have a punch card for purchases which I am always a fan of. Shower was yesterday so can't comment on how they last but 5 stars on creativity and vision of the pieces (stunning and really creative color combos), packing for delivery with instructions for care provided, and just overall quality. So pretty!!! As an update-I did a delivery of flowers this week and it was fantastic! You can call ahead or same day before 11am. Absolutely wonderful! I called in the morning to have flowers delivered to my mother in her downtown office for her birthday. Amy called me right back, was very helpful with descriptions of arrangements and sizes. She even called me back an hour or so later to ask if it was ok to go over the price range I had suggested by $5 or $6 so that she could use this great container that really worked well with the flowers she was using. The first thing my mother commented on was the amazing and unique vase! Amy's eye for detail is excellent! My mother said they were the most gorgeous and interesting flowers she'd ever received (and I've sent her LOTS over the years!), and that everyone in her entire office building commented on them. I know they were stunning, because I just got an email from Amy this evening with pictures of the arrangement, and comments from the deliverer about how surprised and pleased my mother was. So many businesses skip the little details that make for excellent customer service. Watt's Blooming has clearly gone above and beyond with the details, providing customer service head and shoulders above the rest, and the difference is delightful. The website should reflect that this shop has very limited capacity. The web advertisement does not come across that way and is misleading. I asked for references for other high quality florist in town she was not willing to recommend any other place. Overall she sounded difficult and stressed out at 9:05 am in the morning. These flowers come from local vendors and growers as well, so she supports her Indy peeps!!! She is crazy talented with any kind of whimsical, vibrant, unique, Dr. Suess-ish, upscale, modern, or traditional bouquets/arrangements. Her flowers are that most fresh, colorful, and one of a kind you will find in the metropolitan area, really. It a single designer shop that handles lots of arrangements and wrapped bouquets. If you are going to order for holidays get your orders in early, she books quick!!! A couple weeks before V-Day is preferred. A week before Mom's Day would probably work. She also hand crafts the most unique and stunning corsage and boutinierre sets for prom season.
