Do not order flowers from here! My husband wanted to surprise me for Valentine's Day which falls on our Anniversary. The arrangement I received was an ugly orange Halloween looking arrangement, he went back hoping they would make it right and give him a beautiful arrangement worth over $100. This is what he brought home, obviously they were tying to rip him off as I can buy better looking flowers from the fresh market and make a better looking arrangement. When I want something very high end I always call Posh Petals. They do upscale right. Lots of color and lots of texture in their arrangements. I worked with Erika and Meredith years ago at a high end shop that has now been closed for years. We just had some arrangements sent to a funeral. I didn't go but my husband did. We sent two arangements, one from his staff and one from him and his managers. He said they were both beautiful. We have never been disappointed in Posh Petals. read more

As someone who knows next to nothing about flowers, when it came time to choose a florist for my wedding, I was really not looking forward to it. I had no real vision as to what I wanted, except for colors and that I really liked succulents. I used to live in the SoBro area, and had passed Posh Petals many times. I loved the name, saw it had good reviews, and decided to contact them. So glad that I did! My mom, fiance (now husband!) and I went for an introductory meeting with Meredith, the co-owner of the store, to discuss the wedding. Wow - Meredith rocks! She took my very minimal vision for the wedding and was able to ask enough questions and show us enough samples that I felt confident leaving the session. The day of the wedding, our flower arrangements were gorgeous! I was so in love with my bouquet - it was everything I had imagined. Lots of people commented on how beautiful the flowers were, too. During the process, Posh Petals was easy to work with and very good at communicating. It was seamless from beginning to end. I'm giving Posh a two star only because I loved my bridal bouquet. The service is dreadful. I booked an entire year out for my wedding. There were multiple email confirmations about them setting up my wedding. MULTIPLE emails with Kimmie throughout the entire year. Two weeks out- we never heard from them to confirm any finalization so I reached out to make final choices on ribbon, Grooms boutonniere, etc. Kimmie told me they already placed the order and they "would see" if they could make those changes even though they ordered before contacting me to finalize anything. Extremely unprofessional. After that was taken care of, FOUR days before my wedding they decide to tell me that there was miscommunication and they didn't have the staff to come to my wedding and set up. This was AFTER I have many receipts from my deposit and payments which say they were setting up( I paid extra for this) and they offered to refund the money..... it was so sad and upsetting that they didn't care to fix it until my maid of honor called to speak to a manager who thankfully helped with this. Kimmie was rude and lied about the communication we had saying I changed a month before the wedding to have them set up, which is false as I changed it in October the YEAR before and PAID for it. They told me they were sorry and would have someone out to fix it after many phone calls and emails. They said they had a huge last minute order which made me feel like my wedding wasn't important to them because the other order was bigger and clearly more $$$. But that's not all that's here. Premade arrangements, jewelry and gardeningwear too cute for wearing in the actual garden all make great gifts to self or others. But one of the store's absolute gems is its collection of Jenny Sweeny cards, which are etched with swirly, fairytale book designs and adorned with a bit of glitter. I wanted an autumnal look but with more modern design in cool tones. They used succulents, dahlias and many other harmonizing flowers for an overall lovely arrangement. I flicked my neck and my fingers tossed my hair over my shoulder after I entered the door like I was Meryl Streep as Mrs. Dalloway. I love businesses that approach me personally, not behind a counter...instead someone walks up to me and genuinely offers help (and let's face it...I'm a duder in a flower shop...it's like shooting fish in a barrel, but the fish is seemingly too dumb to be shot). Let me just say though...I know my way 'round a bouquet! Most flower shops balk at when I say, "my step inside your flower cooler and concoct my own little dream of a bouquet?" However here, he gladly led me to the back (more on the front in a bit), but the back was table after table and clipping after clipping toward a giant steel fridge. And, then it was Mother Nature's walk-in closet! Look at all...lillies no one wants...roses and roses and roses...then antique hydrangeas...then procenteawhateveritdoesn'tmatterit'sgorgeous! Chatty xylophones lollied left and right through my mind. I plucked a bit here, then a nip there, next thing I know I have my own bouquet, without any scoff from the workers there....for this review...we'll name the bouquet: A Reunion for Our Summer Abroad in London. The worker stayed with me in the fridge to answer any questions and help. So, the front of the store. Spacious. Beyond flower shop. I want to grab a can of champagne and browse. and hang. and maybe listen to some Hall & Oates. Seriously, they just took a flower shop and turned it into an attractive garden/home/gift/home decor/mood-lifting store. Great form. Flowers confuse me. I do not know where to start when purchasing flowers. It's a good thing Posh Petals has my back. I have complete faith in them to come up with the perfect arrangement. It was a very easy process to complete my order. I told them what I wanted which was variety in flowers and colors and how much I wanted to spend. The arrangement was better than I could imagine. The flowers were for my girlfriend and were being delivered a few days before Valentines. They were delivered on time which is always a plus due to the busy season. Based on Posh Petals website, I ordered two different arrangements for two different funerals on the same day and upon arriving at both, I was VERY HAPPY with both. The outside of the store has always caught my attention. It has a beautifully painted mural of flowers covering the brick exterior. It's eclectic and alluring on the inside, but the overwhelming smell of fresh flowers is the best part! The staff is very friendly, helpful and patient as I never know exactly what I want when I walk through the door. I always seem to leave with an arm full of lovely flowers that I can scatter through the rooms of my house. I am very pleased with how long they last too. I ordered flowers for my friend's birthday to be delivered to her work. Calling from out of state I looked for the highest rated flower shop for best quality and value. Unfortunately I ordered a $35 arrangement from Posh Petals and expected a lot more then what was delivered. Even though my friend's work was less then a mile away I was still charged a $15 processing/delivery fee. Overall I paid $50+ for a TINY arrangement, the flowers were fine, and nothing special but was actually really very small. To add insult to injury they misspelled my name on the card!
