The arrangement I ordered looked very different from the one that was delivered (both photos attached), and many of the flowers were already wilted upon arrival. I paid extra for the largest "Premium" size, but it looked more like a standard arrangement. Overall, I am disappointed with the quality and won't be using Bokay again. read more

Writing based on my mom's experience-My mom ordered a bouquet, balloons and chocolates from here for my 10 year wedding anniversary and the balloons and chocolates were not delivered. When she called them she asked to have them deliver them and they would not honor it. They did give a $25 refund for the balloons and chocolates but my mom was very disappointed as this was her gift from our big milestone and wished she went with someone else with better customer care. read more

Used to live in Indy for more than 3 decades and wanted to support a local florist to send flowers to a friend in town. I picked Bokay because I knew it was close to her home. I chose a very specific arrangement because of the ceramic vase it came in b/c I wanted my friend to be able to use it and it was expensive. By time order was complete, it was over $80 including a very high delivery fee to deliver about 4 miles from store. When my friend sent me photo, the bouquet was not in the vase but a cheap standard vase. Sooooo disappointed. When I inquired I got a response asking for order info. I sent and then crickets. Think twice about using this florist as you may not get what you paid for. And seems they are not willing to even explain. Very poor service. read more

Back in February, I ordered Valentines Day flower bouquets for my wife and mother. Despite phone calls to Bokay, the flowers were never delivered to our home, which obviously put a damper on the day for us. When I showed up at the store (just after 5 PM) it was closed- on Valentine's Day! No return calls- nothing. It took me a week of chasing them just to get a refund. And no apology. My husband ordered flowers for me for Mother's Day from FTD. Bokay fulfilled the order for FTD. My husband ordered an arrangement that was about $70 for the flowers and the delivery fee was $25. The way FTD words, apparently, is that you can pick from 4 or 5 levels of arrangements, and you just trust the florist to put together something consistent with what you're choosing. My husband chose the second-highest level of arrangement for me. I didn't know any of this ahead of time. The flowers came yesterday, and I thought they were fine. The colors were nice--the arrangement was very similar to a little bunch of flowers I would pick up at Target or Fresh Thyme for $20 if I wanted something pretty on the dinner table. Then last night after I went to bed, my husband noticed that some of the flowers were already wilting and drooping. He was really unhappy, considering how much he spent and he already felt like the arrangement wasn't worth what he spent. So he contacted FTD and they gave him a refund right away without any hassle. So overall, it's an ok bunch of flowers shoved in a vase, but definitely not worth the $90 my husband spent. read more

My husband ordered flowers through Flower One, that was fulfilled by Bokay florist. They looked beautiful when they arrived, however they quickly within 24hrs were wilting. I contacted Flower One after not being able to reach Bokay. They requested a picture for their records and the customer service manager I spoke with stated that she could hear the flowers crunching over the phone. This was the 3rd day after delivery. She contacted Bokay to request a replacement for me, even offering to offset the cost of the new ones by 50%. Bokay Flatout refused to correct the situation in any way!!!!!! Flower One customer service rep called me back to inform me of this and that she was shocked they wouldn't stand behind their product. This is a terrible way to run a business!!!!! The first time I received flowers from this location, they were bright, vibrant, beautiful, and fragrant. The man who delivered them was a total sweetheart, too. Although they didn't come with flower food, I managed to get them to last almost 2 weeks. The second time - total opposite! The lady who delivered was rude and told me to hurry up and sign because she was too busy to wait around. My white calla lillies had brown spots all over them and many of the other flowers were already droopy and dying. I called them when, two days later, most had died, even though I had purchased flower food and changed the water. They came to replace them at my office, stopped by the bathroom to dump them in our small trash can (leaving a mess!), and my replacement flowers were in even worse condition than the others. My boss noticed and immediately knew what florist it was - she asked her husband to stop using Bokay after 3 bad experiences with them. After seeing what my boyfriend paid (especially the $25 delivery fee to have them delivered less than a mile away!), I made him swear never to use them again. The attitude and quality are so low, I'd prefer weeds from the garden. Definitely reccommend going elsewhere. read more

Walked in to pick up a pre-made bouquet. I wasn't a fan of the ones they had left but they found one in the back for me that I really liked. The flowers and water did not look fresh (cloudy water, flowers that had already fully opened, a little wilty) so they offered to make me a fresh one, which was very nice. I came back to pick it up and the entire arrangement was completely different than the one I said I liked, a completely different vase, and the roses had already fully opened. It just didn't look the freshest, and I know it won't last too much longer, so i was a little disappointed. They were nice and quick making a new bouquet for me within an hour, but not super pleased with the quality. read more

In addition to providing flowers for my wedding, Angie and her team had two other weddings to decorate on the same day. You couldn't tell how busy they were, though, because Angie and her team gave 110% for my wedding. First of all, she arrived at my house early in the morning to personally drop off the flower that I wore in my hair. Second, she really paid attention to what I wanted and made our flowers reflect our personality. We had some special requests and she incorporated them with no questions asked (specially-requested flowers, and she put a locket around my bridal bouquet), and the result was perfect. Lastly, I just have to recommend to TRUST HER. She knows what she is doing. I had a hard time picturing what it would all look like because I don't know flowers very well, but she reassured me, and I trusted her and let her put her own creativity into it. I was blown away by the results: the flowers were so beautiful, they brought me to tears. I never thought I would be reviewing a flower store, but this place is pretty cool. I have both purchased and received flowers from Bokay, and I have had good experiences each time. The first time I stopped in unfortunately was for a funeral in June 2012. The employee working that day gave me good suggestions for a tasteful arrangement. The flowers were beautiful.
