I became a patient of Dr. Pourasef in 2010 and remain one even today. I was experiencing a loss of hearing and needed hearing aids. I was given a thorough hearing assessment and received a recommendation for hearing aids that have been second to none. In fact, I have had two different sets in that 16 years and am ready for the next ones. I love this office. Their professionalism, their service, and their overall demeanor is so calming. The office staff is warm and inviting, and they treat each customer with the same type of experience. They even offer coffee or water to each of their clients. The office is super cute. The staff was nice. We were able to get an appointment quick! Dr Wiggins was amazing! She's so lively and friendly and made us feel super comfortable the whole way through. My 8yr old had some impacted wax in one ear and we did the Earrigation system. She had zero pain, it was quick and the procedure was a success! I found out about this place through TikTok and thankfully I did because I had ear issues after using qtips (don't do it!!) Anyway, I was able to get a scheduled time and although it was a couple of weeks out, there was a waitlist so I was able to be seen a lot sooner than what was originally scheduled. The office is really nice and so is the staff; they have a little coffee area and they were kind enough to offer some coffee and water. I had an ear cleaning done on both of my ears by Dr. Wiggins and the whole process was pain free and super fast. To top it off, it was only $75 for both ears! I came here because I had some loss of hearing due to wearing my headphones too much which increased the buildup of ear wax and caused a ear wax plug clog. It was getting a little painful so I decided to call 6 ear specialists in the houston area. Some Doctors did not have an available appointment till Monday and some were 8 days out. I got lucky with this ear specialist she had one opening today and gave me a very reasonable price and I definitely booked an appointment and got my ear checked out. Environment: 5/5, it was modern looking and had nice feeling when I walked into the office . Doctor Hannah Dearth: 5/5, she was nice , knowledgeable And was very efficient. Great website, great office, great communication, great people. I kept waiting for something to go wrong and it never did. I was so happy with my visit that I look forward to my next one. Dr. Crystal Wiggins was awesome. My visit was to remove earwax/cerumen. 64 years of Q-tips will plug you up. Parking garage next to the office building where you'll find them on the fifth floor. There are two elevators, one for the parking garage. To get to the elevator you need, go to the lobby on the first floor and take the elevator there. The office staff were friendly and professional, offering hot beverages. Everything was so nice, the waiting area and the doctor rooms. My hearing was quickly evaluated with a single earpiece: none in one ear, reduced in other. Then the camera, a thick pen showed what my ears looked like before treatment. Yuck: looked like a jar of peanut butter on its side. Pictures taken, then treatment. I laughed at the "Earigator" name, but it worked great! Warm water under the right pressure rinsed chunks out of my ears. Pictures taken again and for the first time I saw my ear drums. What a relief! Hearing evaluated again and all good. Great communication before and during the procedure. I had filled out the on-line request form at the Memorial Hearing website and got an e-mail back within an hour. Then I got a phone call saying there had been a cancellation and would I like to come in that afternoon? I did! Felt like I had won the lottery. My primary care physician had told me to search out ENT specialists and none had appointments available to next year. My primary care physician had performed a simple wash of the ears and prescribed peroxide to soften the wax, but after a week I was still in pain and unable to hear clearly. I was so glad to walk out of Memorial Hearing with my hearing returned, I didn't even mind the sound of traffic as I drove home down the Katy Freeway. I'll be back. I found Memorial Hearing via a Google Search. I'm so glad I found these ladies. First they were able to accommodate me with a same day appointment. First of all, the place is nice with some great customer service. They have fancy water to coffees and snacks. It is cozy to be in there. I was helped by Ms. Wiggins, she was really understanding and helpful. The only thing I was upset about was the owner of the place. We were inside of Ms. Wiggins office when she just came inside and started going through Ms. Wiggins computer when we were in the middle of having conversation and going through the charts. The Owner did not introduce herself or apologized for just interrupting. If we were older, rich, clientele, I bet she would not have done that. That was very rude of her. Prior to going to Memorial Hearing, I first tried a random audiologist I found on Google Maps that had some solid reviews. From the very first time I met them, I just felt generally uneasy about the experience overall, becauae it was quite unlike the experience I had at the UAMS Audiology Clinic in Arkansas a year or so prior. They especially seemed flustered when I couldn't come up with a fast enough decision on whether or not to purchase a $7,000.00 pair of hearing aids. So I decided to go with my gut and part ways with them, but I swore that the next time I saw an audiologist, I would make sure to thoroughly research the topic so I would have a better understanding of hearing aids and also to learn how to critique the level of patient care I was being given. I think most would agree that its a pretty positive sign when you call an office to schedule an appointment two minutes before they close and the audiologist who was apparently standing right behind the receptionist gets so excited to talk to you that they insist on at teast introducing themselves before rhey let you go. The first time I met Dr. Elly, any doubts left lingering about my previous clinician's competency completely melted away. She stood calm and completely confident in her ability to work together with her patients to achieve realistic goala in regards to their hearing loss. After a very long, seemingly thorough battery of tests, she dicussed my hearing loss in easy to understand terms. She even went so far as to test my cognitive abilities with a new type of device that she noted research had recently indicated a relationship between cognitive decline and hearing loss. I found out later that only a few audiologists nationwide had adopted this new technology yet, further presenting herself as on the bleeding edge of audiology technology. It was painful obvious that she had little desire to be a medicore practitioner and was instead focused on being the goldstandard for a clinician irregardless of speciality: a clinician who is always setting the patient care bar a little higher, who spends as much time with each of their patients as they need (my first appointment Dr. Elly booked me for two hours! And believe it or not it lasted more like four!), someone who maintains a professional image at all times, and finally was simply the type of person who would not let a patient leave her clinic without both of them feeling completely satisfied and happy about the whole process from start to finish. Trust me on this: if you want the smoothest and most seamless experience one could possibly have as far as getting tested for and buying hearing aids, just give Dr. Elly and her team at Memorial Hearing a call ASAP. These types of clinicians are few and far between, the ones that are truly passionate about helping their patients and making the whole experience a positive one. Still not convinced? Well, I live in San Antonio and her clinic is in Houston... So I have to drive about three hours one way for an appointment. And even when you factor in the cost of gas and the loss of time, Dr. Elly and her team at Memorial Hearing are DEFINITELY worth it. read more

Dr. Elly is the best audiologist I have worked with. She offers a wonderful array of hearing aid brands, and has so much knowledge about the latest technology available for hearing aid users. One thing that I love about her service is that if you have a problem with an aid and it needs to be sent in for repair, she will give you a loaner pair for the interim. This allows you to continue with your work and social lives without disruption, and in my experience this is not ordinarily offered by audiologists.
