Let Mommy Sleep was a lifesaver. I work full time and needed support at night with my newborn baby…read more The caretaker from Let Mommy was prompt and professional. She made me and my baby feel comfortable right away. I was able to get a good nights sleep the 3 nights that she works for us. I definitely recommend this service. One of my cousins raved about this company and the service provided as a "night assistant." I was…read moreinitially hesitant, but decided to try it out. First, we had a video call with a nurse, Emaan who was assigned to us? For whatever reason, we were only able to interview one person. During this process, we made it VERY clear that our son was a premature baby, with GERD, and as a result has issues with reflux and spit ups. As a result, he needs to be held upright 30 min after feedings and burped in between each ounce that he feeds. We had mentioned that a nurse with years of prior NICU experience was preferred and this nurse had stood by that claim and mentioned that she would be able to handle him during the nights. Again, we made it very clear that he has these issues and he was premature. We prepped his feeds every night in 3 ounce bottles. We SPECIFICALLY mentioned that we put 3 oz in the bottles, but sometimes he takes 2 or 2.5. We made it VERY clear that we do not care if any formula gets wasted, it wasn't a problem for us, and we would rather "waste" formula rather than underfeed our son. Nonetheless, again, we mentioned that he has GERD and spits up a lot. He does NOT projectile vomit or have any other major issues other than spit ups (which don't cause him discomfort). We had discussed his feeding schedule with our GI who approved of our preparation methods. We provided the nurse with bedsheets, pillows, blankets, a quiet space to rest and handle the baby etc. we had also made it very clear that if she needed anything, she could knock on our bedroom door and we would be happy to assist. This nurse, Emaan, was an awful person and someone I wish that I NEVER let around my child. She had the audacity to claim that we provided an "unsafe" space. That we were "abusing and overfeeding" our baby. She wrote this up in an email and blatantly accused us of being terrible people that force feed our son. Again, we made it very clear that it is OKAY to waste or leave formula. We feed him based on his cues because of his GERD. She was an incompetent and unprofessional employee of this organization and I would caution anyone letting her around their child. I'm afraid that she lied about her experience as a NICU nurse, and that this company did little to vet her background. I was shocked that this company would hire someone with her level of incompetence and unprofessionalism. Do NOT let that nurse around your baby. Her name is Emaan or Iman (apologies if my spelling is incorrect). I hope she reads this review and realizes how awful of a person she is and hopefully no one has to deal with someone as uncouth as she is. The company itself was quick to apologize and provide a refund, but I would never use this service. We ended up hiring our daughter's old Montessori teacher who had extensive experience with premature babies, much more than "Emaan" ever claimed that she did. Do not let that woman in your home or near your children. She is unable to perform her job in a competent and effective manner.

Do your research. Make sure you fully understand their approach here in "play therapy" as there is…read morevery little by way of actual intervention. We needed help with our 4 year old and after months of weekly therapy here (at a cost well over $1k since they don't accept insurance) we were no better off. The staff was very polite, friendly, and professional. But the overall approach didn't involve much parent education, regular feedback on progress, or even directly addressing the specifics behavioral issues with our daughter. We eventually moved to another clinic with a direct approach and have seen incredible progress in only a few sessions. So maybe play therapy is a good fit for you and your kid but for us it wasn't.

Racist "therapists" who are not even licensed. Stay away from this place…read more The method they use is "play therapy." It's not even proven to be an effective method of therapy for kids with learning disabilities. They are locked in a room with the therapist for 45 minutes and part of the therapy consists of extremely inappropriate games such as sword fighting. It teaches the kids how to fight and be aggressive. Sherri and Lynn are both a joke. Super goofy and racist. Sherri is an intern who is not even licensed and has ZERO credentials. Why the hell do they have an intern doing therapy sessions without supervision? If you have a child of color, I would strongly recommend you run from this place. Find a real therapist who understands your culture and who doesn't have a superiority complex.

Plus during the entire facial she continued to explain not only which products she was applying, but repeated assurances that she only uses top of the line plant based products-must have heard this at least 50 x that her goal was to educate me about skin care and recommend the best products that only she has. There were maybe 2 minutes during the entire appointment in which she wasn't talking. I appreciate the education but I also get facials done for relaxation and pampering. This was hard to do when she was talking the entire time about how great her facials are. She also does a post-service consult on which products I could purchase if I so desired. My entire appointment took almost 2 hours. Con: Price! - She was informed I was using a Groupon for the service at the time of booking, when the facial was over I reminded her again that I was a Groupon customer. She stated "Oh its been so long let me look at the instructions on how to redeem." She then asked me to look over the paper and "in particular pay attention to the yellow highlight". The highlighted portion had to do with suggestions on how to tip. Something to the effect of "Groupon customers must tip 15-20% of the cost of service pre-groupon." She informed me the regular price on the facial is upwards 100. I ended up leaving her a 20$ tip and she did not even acknowledge my request if she could make change-I felt this was extremely bad taste. Aftermath: My skin does seem a bit clearer, but not astonishingly so. I agree with Sheetal that this is not an overnight process and so I will continue getting regular facials and upping my skincare game, but will do so somewhere else.
