My mom's house needed repair on the staircase which was cracking so they cut out the old stucco, reinforced it with the mesh wiring, and put new stucco. There was a detailed contract describing the scope of the work, Allen gave me text updates of when the crew would be coming and timeline for project completion and final receipt with the warranty on it. No one ever contacted me. I called twice again in late April. First time no one picked up the phone or responded to my voicemail. Three days later I called again and the receptionist would not connect me directly to the estimator so several phone calls were exchanged. In the end, only 1 appointment time was offered to me 9:30am and I asked to move it earlier to 9am since there were no appointments before me and I needed to attend a 10am work meeting. I was told nope. I gave up because it's hard to work with inflexible unresponsive people.

They even constructed and applied a decorative gable feature that we requested. Our house looks brand new now! What we loved most about First Tier Exterior is that they have teams of employees skilled in different areas so they can complete ALL aspects of the job. That way, we didn't have to be in the position of coordinating different companies and workers (who then blame each other for problems with the job!) The company is employee-owned, so everyone has a vested interest in the success of each project. We wanted to get the front of the house stucco redone so that the work would not have to be done after the new landscape was installed and workers would have to walk back and forth over it. As a consulting engineer in my prior life, I have done enumerable bids and award for all sorts of major construction projects. I requested bids for the stucco work. As usual, there we some no bids, some ridiculous bids but Dave gave us without a doubt the best bid. Now the best bid can be the one that makes sense, has a great timetable and explains the details of the work but in addition to that, Dave was by a wide margin the low bidder. Now that might be a caution flag, but you review the bids and there were no red flags in Dave's bid just the same details that some other bids had. Dave also showed up and walked us through the plan. So we went with Dave and he had his great assistant pressure wash the entire front on the house including the eves and windows. He taped and covered everything. The next day he came back with Dave and the two of them completed the both coats of the acrylic stucco and it looks great and they matched the color perfectly. Highly recommended.
