Meme's Pantry - Veggie omelette, hash browns, and sour dough toast. - Delis Near Me - Bowling Green, Missouri

Oh my! We were visiting our favorite cabinet shop near Bowling Green, Missouri today (Eicher Brothers) and played our YELP game to find a local place to eat. What a wonderful find! Our lunch was delicious - their famous tenderloin sandwich and a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. The iced tea was perfect as well. We now have two reasons to go to back Bowling Green! read more

They made a red velvet cream cheese icing birthday cake for a friend --decorated. It was delicious., but passed for homemade which was exactly what I wanted, since I intended to bake it myself, but was not able in time. It was fresh, good texture & tasted great! Price was comparable to Wallyworld, but much better in quality. read more

Scrambled eggs were scorched and very dry. Hash browns were a patty and not shredded. They should clarify this on the menu. Also not taking debit/credit was an inconvenience. read more

Had me sit and look over the menu. Then when the came back to me they told me they had switched over and no breakfast. If the would have had something saying that it would have been fine. I just wanted some eggs and toast. Don't worry Bowling green cafe took care of me. read more

Home Cookin that reminds you of Grandma's recipes! Homemade sweet tea and lemonade served in Mason jars!! My family and I spent a long weekend at Lake of the Ozarks. We were hungry as we were passing through Bowling Green on our way home . I checked for food in the area and came across MeMe's Pantry, so we pulled in. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised at the welcoming feel as we walked in the door. Appears to be a place locals go, where they are known by name. Our waitress greeted us immediately!! My husband and I ordered the lunch specials they offered and my children ordered burgers! Our meals were deliciously homemade! The sweet tea perfect AND it's served in a Mason Jar!!!! We decided to indulge in dessert and WOW! The cheesecake is to die for! We will certainly stop here again when we head back to the ozarks!!! Thanks for the Great food and outstanding service! read more

When you pull up to the restaurant it's not much to look at & the parking lot is kind of small but, it's full. That in itself, is always a good sign. The restaurant is very cute. I like the decor, very traditional for a mom-and-pop place. The waitress was very kind and efficient. The food was delicious and mind you, you do get plenty of it! my only complaint was if they're going to work so hard at making something that's good, don't skimp on the buns buy some decent buns! Overall... You could not go wrong eating here. The price is very reasonable and the food is delicious. Grub a dub dub read more

Soooo... this is just a really solid local diner. I had to be in Bowling Green for a 1:30 Court appearance and needed some lunch. Great local crowd and quick friendly service and a solid bacon cheeseburger. Good crinkle cut fries. Sweet tea and regular tea. Reasonable price. Fast service. Family friendly. Clean restroom. Just good food. read more

Service was excellent. Friendly welcoming even though it was 20 minutes before closing time. Country small town America atmosphere top notch. Food ? Well, bLT was just ok, grilled cheese was pretty good, grilled ham, cheese was not very good with ? cheese and the tenderloin was huge, heavily breaded and not a favorite of anyone at our table but the waitress and a customer who ordered it ahead of us. The pie looked unbelievable though. read more

Meme's Pantry - The Tenderloin. - Delis Near Me - Bowling Green, Missouri

Good local, family business! Staff is kind, courteous and fun! Food is tasty and consistent!

Best Tenderloin we ever had! Very thin and lightly breaded. Great portions. Great prices.

Glad we happened upon this place on our way south to St. Louis! We stopped during the Monday lunch rush, and the place was hopping with locals. Service was great! I really enjoyed my BLT on sourdough with chips. The bacon was delicious, and the mayo was nice and tangy. My husband had the tenderloin with chips. It was huge! It was a little dry due to being pounded a little too thin, but was still decent. His fresh-brewed iced tea was excellent. We splurged on a chocolate hazelnut cheesecake that was phenomenal! Would stop again for dessert alone! read more

Choose the cafe to eat from Yelp on our way home to Illinois. I had BLT and husband had grilled chicken on sourdough with bacon and cheese. They were served with chips. They both hit the spot and bacon had good flavor. We took a cheesecake with us but sure it will be great. Great and friendly staff. Great stop! read more

Just meeting some guys in BG for a meeting and lunch. I had the "small" chef salad, which was great, and there were a couple of bacon cheeseburgers. Both claimed the burgers were so good they needed no condiments. Thank you Yelp! Saved us from a McDonalds lunch!!! read more

Meme's Pantry - Small chef! - Delis Near Me - Bowling Green, Missouri

Fast friendly service, delicious food, good prices. CASH ONLY. Pork tenderloin great. Yummy coleslaw. Highly recommend fried pickles.

Arguably my favorite food place within three hours of St. Louis. This place is well worth the drive. As you walk in you feel right at home. You are offered the local paper and your order is taken. The wait time is minimal and you get our meal. The portions are HUGE! The food is AMAZING. The Meme"s Melt is the best thing ever! I strongly recommend this place to anyone. Well worth the drive or worth checking out if you are near Bowling Green! read more

Went with a group while traveling for work. 2 coworkers got the tenderloin and said out was the best they ever had. Another had a hamburger and it was fresh and juicy. I had the"small" chef salad that was anything but small. Would recommend to anyone. Be sure to bring cash, no credit/debit cards. Extremely affordable. read more

Usually I prefer to buy and eat locally, but on my lunch hour I decided to go to Meme's for a carry-out lunch. Major disappointment- small cup of watery chili and a one slice plain bread grilled cheese and a can of coke $9. THAT'S EXTORTION! No dessert, No chips and NO vaseline. However they have a nice large chef salad reasonably priced. They should stick to donuts, dessert and coffee, or bring MeMe back. read more

Excellent place to grab a bite, enjoy home cooking, catch up on local news (and gossip!), and...what else? Bacon!! Best bacon in the area, and mounds of it!! A block from the county courthouse with ample parking right outside the doors. read more
