At La Colima I had the birria de chivo and a pupusa and they were both very good, the pupusa especially. The broth for the Birria was pretty good and the meat was very tender. I got three big chunks of goat in the Birria and while I wasn't happy with the amount of fat on each of them, that's to be expected with whole chunks of goat meat. The repollo (pickled cabbage) that came with the pupusa was very good. And the house-made tortillas that came with the birria were fantastic.

It's only open on the weekends and sells out of items, closes early so plan accordingly. There's a Mexican store around the corner that serves cold drinks and fantastic freshly made tortillas and salsa. It makes for a nice picnic at the Railroad Park across the square. I like to take home extra carnitas to have in the fridge to add to several meals throughout the week. It appears they have a sister store in Yakima that may have a complete menu besides the carnitas.
