The groomer (well the one we had) was pleasant and professional. My dog always came home looking very nice. I am a busy mom of 7, a wife and a nurse. I missed an appointment we had as I forgot one of my children had a school concert to attend on a Saturday. I called the Katies once I realized I had missed the appointment to apologize and reschedule. The receptionist asked me to hold on. Then a lady got on the phone and immediately said, "This is Katie, are you not able to bring in your dog?" I stated I was not able to and explained why and apologized for not being able to. She than said are you aware of the cancellation fee? I stated I was not and had not been told about that. Very rudely she said the fee is the price of the cut. I was a little floored about this, but said okay, and asked if it is charged with the next cut. She continued to be very rude as if this was something I did all the time and told me that I would need to prepay for all the appointments moving forward. She didn't give a courtesy, she didn't say yes, you will need to pay a double charge next time, she was very rude. I told her thank you and hung up. She will NOT get another $$ of my hard earned money again. Zero customer service and she sounded like a mad hatter the way she was talking. I hope she doesn't treat all customers and employees like that.

No guinea pigs or mice, are sold here, just your basic supplies. We had to go to the Greenwood location to purchase a guinea pig. No offer to call ahead and locate one was made to us. Surprisingly the "wet" cat food I shopped for was comparably priced with the Walmart across the street. Friskies was only a couple of cents more per can. I also was looking for a specific type of fish flakes for my outdoor pond and they did not stock them. The store is well maintained and the shelves are full.

Because they wanted our experience to be a good one, Boo and I met his dog groomer, Brianna, & I was given a choice of whether Boo would leave with a bow tie (cute!) or a bandana (adorable!), or a choice of which of 4 colognes I'd prefer for Boo (if any). The woman at the front took thorough notes on what Boo was like, offered a nail clipping and filing!!!, tooth brushing, and anal gland expression (we passed on this). Best of all, they listened to me when I said that Boo is new to town and blind, and we'd prefer if he could go through the process quickly. Two hours later, he was done! When we checked out, the woman at the front asked if there was anything else they could do for us! Wow! I've never felt so heard, and best of all, Boo came back home not only looking amazing & adorable in his new bandana but he was happy! He's never happy after grooming, & it showed me that he had as amazing an experience as I did! My 2 dogs are rescues and had been severely abused so I had my misgivings. The Groom Room dispelled any fears I had!!
