To top it off, I was taking him out of town that afternoon. Angela was amazing and fit him into her schedule and told me to bring him right over. I even got a call while I was driving him over, to make sure I wasn't lost and to give me directions for finding where she was located. Don't be confused by the different name on the door. I assure you, Angela will be found inside (as well as several other groomers). Angela is incredibly knowledgeable about breeds of dogs and how to groom them. She talked to me about what she would do for him and how his coat should be taken care of. He was ready exactly when she said he would be, and he looks amazing! I am beyond pleased! We left straight away and drove to Chicago to see my family. When we arrived, my family (without prompting) said this was the best haircut he's ever had! I will only bring my dog to Angela from now on!

And while expected a small fee, I did not expect a big fee and I also expected to be told, not just see it on my invoice. That's outrageous! No one time courtesy or grace given here.

It's hard to find a place that grooms cats. Our family cat is 20 years old (!) and had some large…read moremats on his fur because it is difficult for him to groom himself. The groomer was very gentle with our old man and insisted that I stay there during the grooming for his comfort. She could have charged extra by asking if I wanted to bathe him as well, but she recommended not to do that as to not aggravate the cat even more. The only reason this is 4 stores and not 5 is because the place is a little dirty and because I didn't see any evidence of the supplies having been sterilized. However, they are still moving into their new location. Their team definitely is experienced and knows how to handle pets.

Our experience with Road Dog was so much more pleasant- my dog looks great and the experience was stress free for both of us. Lindsay is the sort of person any dog would trust and love. Having her provide 1:1 service in the quiet, cage-free environment of her new grooming van was so much easier on my dog. I couldn't be happier!
