I needed to be on the west coast for a week this summer and I was very uneasy leaving my 14 year-old dog with anyone (a kennel was out of the question). So my task was to find a pet sitter I could trust as well as I could trust my own family. Courtney took such wonderful care of my dog, I still can't believe how fortunate I was to find her. I opted to have my dog stay in our home and have Courtney come stay with her overnight (my dog is old and very set in her routine, her bed, her blanket, her bowl, you get the picture...). A day did not go by when I didn't get a photo text of my pup with little updates. This made being on the other side of country easy for me and I didn't worry one bit. I saw how much fun she was having, and even got "bedtime" snapshots. Courtney's husband Owen was equally wonderful and it is clear my dog felt very comfortable with both of them. Ms. Kathleen sent us pictures of them playing and relaxing when we requested and let us know how they were doing. I'm so thankful that she provides this kind of care for our two so it helps put my anxiety at ease when we have to go out of town. He was very easy to work with, it was like talking to an old friend. He made us feel very secure and gave us peace of mind to go ahead with our travel plans. The folks who took care of our cats did a great job, everything was clean and tidy when we got home. Mail had been brought in. They left a sweet note about the cats. The price they charge is very reasonable and they just leave you a bill on the last day of the visit. The other thing we like is that if they do not hear from you that you are back, they will go ahead and keep coming to take care of your pets. This is great if you get stuck at an airport or have some other travel delay. We look forward to using Bloomington Pet Sitters whenever we travel. Great local business!

Of course, I was nervous at first. I had never used a pet sitting service; neighbors and family had always stepped in the few days in the past, here and there, that I was away from home. Like many, my pets are my family. Stacey provided the reassurance I needed, by replying to my messaging, and overall communications were excellent. When a kitty became ill, they administered medicine. And, in fact, even took one to the vet, with my coordination from afar. When food and kitty litter ran low, they shopped for the same brands, and just added it to my bill. I could not recommend them more. They have provided the peace of mind I needed so that I could go off and do what I needed to do. Kitties and I are together again, but I just wanted to write a short note of appreciation.

Through the process of scheduling, surgeries, testing, etc they have been so gracious, kind, and informative. The surgeon scheduled me in between surgeries to get my dog the immediate attention he needed. I am not from IN and my vet at home has been caring for my pets my whole life, so I was very weary of a new vet. Everyone here is so helpful and thorough, and the vets explain everything in detail, and value my needs financially and as an owner. One vet tech had spent her lunch break spending time with my dog (of her own accord, I never asked her to) so that way he didn't have to be lonely. I highly recommend this vet to anyone looking for quality care. The staff truly care about your animals, and you can tell they just love being around them. I also looked at some negative reviews... I am talking about the Northside clinic. I saw a lot of them were south side reviews. I was reading a lot of people had difficulty getting ahold of the vet. Whenever there has been concern about my dog, the doctor calls me directly. When I have left voice messages, the doctor calls me back promptly. At my first checkup, I spoke directly to a doctor. The only time I did not speak directly to a doctor was one time after a dental cleaning and histopathy, but that was because the doctor had gone into another surgery, and the nurse who talked to me answered all my questions and explained everything in such detail.
