I am not sure they will be around for long! Stopped by on a…read moreWed. evening, 6:20 pm, one table preceded us into the door, order was taken within 10 minutes, burger, hoagies and another dish, two cokes and a water served at the time. 43 minutes later the waitress comes over and tells us they had run out of hamburgers! To which I replied angrily " Now you tell us!" I left six dollars on the table for the drinks and walked out. Important points in the operation of a restaurant: the cook should've know when he/she pulled the last burger and notified the waitress "we're out of burgers" hint - don't take any more orders for it. The waitress didn't even attempt to salvage the order by offering something else, or take the rest to go, which leads me to believe that nothing was even started. Add to all this $3 soft drink in a 16oz. cup full of ice with only one refill, and $3.49 for a measly cup of fresh cut fries ( 10lb. bag is $6). Service was found to be horrible, and the value for your money is not there IMO. A hoagie platter is around $11 and it comes with chips (a sneaky way to lessen the food cost), BUT for only $3.49 you can bump up to the measly cup of fresh cut fries, bringing your total for what a hoagie platter ought to be to a whopping $14+

After pushing tables together in the main room it was 30 minutes before our order was taken. Being wing night they had no wings! Only boneless. Poor excuse for a restaurant.

I've always wanted to visit, but while close enough we don't usually go out that way much. Being a…read morehuge Christmas and holiday fan seeing that they made a Christmas pop up was the extra motivation I needed. My friend and I had an amazing time. The whole building was super festive and fun. While busy, right before Christmas, everyone was very nice and helpful. There was barely a wait for anything, other than seating, but like I said it was so busy. The food we ordered was hot, fresh, and quick. I was really surprised by how good it was. I got a bowl potato soup and it looked small. That soup was so loaded and cheesy, I wasn't even able to finish it! Delicious! We shared a Bavarian pretzel. That was also huge, very well made. The dips for it I think are house made? They were amazing. We couldn't decide our favorite, but I think the mustard was mine. We each got a festive drink, I'm not big on drinks, but my Cosmic cosmo was fantastic and pretty! While the decor is what finally got me to visit I'm definitely planning on going back. It's very spacious, great seating. The food was impressive, service was fast and surprisingly friendly with how packed and busy they were.

We happened to be…read morevisiting Port Farms on this afternoon and I got excited whenever I noticed that Poverty Knob Farmhouse Ales was right next door. This brewery is located in a big barn like building with super high ceilings. It has both indoor and outdoor seating and on the day that I was there they had live music as well. On this day for my beer I ordered directly at the bar but for my food I ordered from the QR code that was at each table. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery I went with a flight here. At poverty Knob you got to choose 4 different 4 oz pours for $12. I ended up choosing the midnight lager, spruce almighty, obstructed view and brown eyed girl for my beers. First up for me was the Brown eyed girl which was an American stout. It was smooth with a hint of sweetness at the finish. Second was the Obstructed view hazy IPA which was a true ipa with lots of strong hops coming in at the finish. Up third was the spruce tip IPA Spruce almighty. It felt more like an English ipa as it was mild and sadly I didn't get any spruce tips flavor from it. Last but certainly not least was the schwarzbier named Midnight lager. This beer had some sweetness at the start with those roasted malt flavors coming in at the finish. Out of the bunch, I would choose the midnight lager and obstructed view as my favorites. Then for food, my wife and I ordered a chips platter and a pizza. The chips had a drizzle with bacon, blue cheese and scallions while our flatbread had arugula, honey and prosciutto on it. While I was expecting to like the flatbread more, I ended up liking the chips more. The shareable portion size was absolutely massive and I appreciated the pungent blue cheese with the bacon and balsamic drizzle. Our chips were super crispy as well which helped. Then our flatbread was also good and I enjoyed the salty/peppery/sweet combo from everything that was on top. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed most of my beers here and thought that our chips were excellent.
