Amazing French toast

This was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a very long time. The eggs were cooked perfectly,, the bacon was the good kind and was just right as well. The home fries were crispy and reminded me of my mother's. But the standout was certainly the French toast, made out of their homemade bread. It was thick and crispy on the edges, eggy and custardy in the middle and for a little extra, you can get it with real maple syrup. Also, the service was efficient and polite. 10/10 no notes!

What a cute restaurant and gift shop in the heart of the small town of Clymer, NY . Prices were very reasonable for a quick lunch that consisted of a BLT and a pizza melt . They make their own bread fresh daily and each sandwich comes with potato chips . We browsed their gift shop afterwards , which was fairly large and although quite a few signs and Knick knacks caught our eye , nothing was purchased there . I do wish I came a bit more hungry , their cinnamon rolls looked delicious and big enough to have their own zip code! If you are visiting the Peek and peak resort , I recommend checking them out .

This is not a place to visit if you're dieting. They make their own bread and pies. The French toast was impressive and made with a huge slice of their great baked bread. I didn't try it but they also have a buffet.

Great food. Friendly staff. The menu has so many choices, there is something for everyone. My roast beef sandwich was excellent. It was huge and the homemade mashed potatoes were delicious. It definitely is a warm and inviting establishment and you can tell the clientele is mostly local people, but that is a sign of a good restaurant to me. There are fresh pies available for desert, and the prices are very fair, especially for the size of the meal.

Counter service.

A good place to grab breakfast before heading to Peek n' Peak or doing the wine trail. P The prices were reasonable and the service was attentive.

Here are the highlights: A well varied menu of delicious diner food, friendly servers and homemade pie Ike Grandma made. If you still need to know more, here it is... This is a small town diner in the truest sense of the word. The entire experience is a stereotype. I'm pretty sure that nothing has ever been updated in this place and that's just fine with me. Vinyl booths, a lunch counter and "pay up front" all adds to the hometown feel. They bake pies daily and have so many choices that they're written on a white board. They are all yummy so you might have to visit more than once. The entrees are generous and well priced. Whole pies as well as slices can be purchased to go. Be sure not to miss the fresh loaves of bread at the checkout counter.

We love it here!

As a far away visitor, at the Dutch Village I found friendly staff, generous portions, country dining at its best! They've got it all!

Cæsar Salad (as main) feeds 4! (Seasoned bread crumbs in lieu of croutons was a misfire IMO.) So does the Fish & Chips! (French fries were perfectly done.) Brussels sprouts were well-prepared and seasoned. A number of families on a Sunday evening seemed completely content. Ale brewed locally for the house was yummy. We were sat in the old bank safe that the kids thought was the coolest thing....so did some of the adults. We started with shared apps of the honey whipped ricotta, tater tots and French onion soup. Everything was very good. I ordered the loaded smoked brisket that was really large and tasty. Everyone else ordered pulled pork, crispy chicken sandwich, black bean burger without the roll, reddy burger, Caesar salad and the child's burger. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Would definitely stop here again if passing through. The restaurant is located on a cute street surrounded by shops and across from a small park.

From the moment I pulled up to the restaurant from the moment I left - it was perfection. It was a chilly, rainy summer day - so we sat indoors. The restaurant has a small dining area - but that is part of the charm. We sat in the best seats in the house - right in the front windows. Westfield is a lovely little village and the park is right out the front window of the parkview. I like details, and the parkview did not disappoint on that level. The table was beautifully set and simply, tastefully decorated. The small, significant touches definitely made an impression on me. When my friend joined, he suggested the homemade chicken pot pie. The entire menu looked delicious and normally I wouldn't order a pot pie... but I trust my friend's palate and - he was right. Absolute deliciousness. I can't wait to come back and try something else. And the staff - wonderful, attentive, and kind.

Creamy Chicken Noodle and Smoked Gouda and Tomato. We could have eaten a gallon of each. Both were piping hot and bursting with flavor.
