We've had two vehicle windshields fixed. One replacement and one chip repair. Both times we took…read morethe cars to the shop. Each one fixed and ready for pick up the same day. No leaks in over two years or visibility issues with chip/resin. Crew was polite and got everything right. I would repeat and recommend this site to friends, family and others. They handled all paperwork with insurance too... Thanks, JP

Terribly disappointing experience with Safelite from start to finish. I initially brought my SUV in…read moreon Monday for what was supposed to be a simple windshield crack repair, as directed by my insurance company with a $0 deductible. Within minutes, I was told that while attempting the repair, the crack spread further and the windshield now needed to be fully replaced resulting in a $500 deductible for me. While I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, the situation immediately felt questionable. After waiting for the replacement windshield to arrive, I returned yesterday to have it installed. When I came to pick up my vehicle, my husband immediately noticed damage on the top of the SUV that was not there beforehand. The original crack was located on the lower left side near the VIN number, nowhere near the damaged area. The night before the appointment, my husband, a friend, and her husband had all closely examined the windshield while I was sharing the situation with them, so we are absolutely certain the damage did not exist prior to service. At first, my husband thought the mark might simply be adhesive residue from the repair, but after rubbing it, it became clear the vehicle had been scuffed/damaged. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of accountability from the staff. One employee mentioned he had taken a video of the scuff, but by that point the damage had already occurred. Rather than addressing the issue professionally, the interaction felt dismissive and defensive. I am extremely disappointed with how this entire situation was handled and will not be using Safelite again. I strongly encourage anyone bringing their vehicle in for service to thoroughly photograph and video their car beforehand to protect themselves in case damage occurs during the repair process.

We've taken our car and truck here. Always first rate service and the work has been fantastic…read more I wanted take a moment and share a story with you all about my son's truck. Its a 2007 Tacoma. Just a regular truck no bells and whistles but what makes it special is it was my dad's last truck. He and my son would take rides together just the two of them. When dad got sick he asked me to make sure my son got the truck. He did and we've kept it in great mechanical order, but the white paint lost its luster and I just happened to put a nice dent in the right rear quarter panel. I promised to get it fixed and Gerber was the only real choice. When they estimated the fixes, we talked about the old and new paint and well we decided to fix more. To say the truck looks amazing really doesn't capture the change in it or in our love for it. I know its just a truck but there are trucks and there are trucks. This one will be with us forever and the care, respect and craftsmanship that Gerber brought to the work was incredible. Thanks to the team for treating us and our rides so well.

Incompetent. After being told multiple times that there were two claims on my vehicle that needed…read moreto be fixed and getting estimates for both they only did one and when I received a call saying it was done I was informed that only one claim was complete after asking. Had to wait another week for my car to be fixed. On top of that, I told multiple employees that I had received a check from my insurance company that I would need to pay them on top of the deductible. I told them this on multiple phone calls, in person when getting the estimate and when paying for and picking up the car. The did not understand what I was saying. I told them I owed them $900 rather than the $500 for the one claim. They would not let me pay it. In three weeks I get a call saying I owed them money, money I was more than willing to pay. I inform the caller that I told multiple people this and tried to pay it when picking up the car. The caller said "I doubt that". The caller was not a part of any of these conversations and I had them with a family member present that remembers me telling employees this. The repairs look fine but for customer service alone I would avoid at all costs.
