This was our first time ordering from this Mellow Mushroom. We used the delivery option through yelp, which uses door dash. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, the beer cheese pretzel bites, and a large Greek salad. All delicious. Our order was made incredibly fast and at our house within 35-40 min. It cost $56 with the delivery fee & tip. We will definitely order here again! read more

Summary: Do not go to this location if you want decent service. Have given this location several attempts, and they have regularly failed. The last two orders we cancelled *from the parking lot* (while waiting in the car for curbside service). Online orders are regularly delayed by 20 minutes after "pickup time" (it's almost like they start *after* you call and let them know you're waiting outside). After talking with the manager about this, they admitted they knew about the problem and did nothing to fix or address it. Not even notify regular customers to expect their order to be delayed. Instead of accepting responsibility for their establishment, the manager tried to blame the ordering software. The excuse was "the system doesn't account for the fact other people order at the same time". Apparently 1.5 hours isn't enough lead time to order online. (Yes, our order was placed for a pickup in 1.5 hours and they could not meet it, and this has happened more than once). The fact this continues demonstrates the management thinks poor customer service is an acceptable way to operate. read more

A family tradition! We have loved Mellow since first trying it in Asheville. Great menu. Highly recommend the calzones. The pizzas will not disappoint. Great for date night or large gatherings. read more

Plant based eaters beware!!!! Personally, eating pizza is a treat. It's not something that we eat all the time. There's nothing like having your mouth ready for pizza, then waiting longer than expected for a cold, raw veggie topped pizza with meat on it. This is our second time ordering from the Mello Mushroom in Evans. The order is always the same: (large) VEGAN VEG-OUT, No Onions, Artichoke Hearts, Caramelized Onions, Roasted Tomatoes, Crispy, No Butter No Parmesan. The 1st time we dined in, they gave us a pizza with non-vegan cheese. Since we dined in, we waited for another pizza. It was delicious and with the wait. This time we ordered online. We arrived to pick up the pizza only for them to not have our pizza ready. After waiting an additional 30 minutes for them to bring it out to the car. What we got was a cold pizza with hard ass toppings.. like they took an old cheese pizza, and tossed raw veggies on top. These veggies never felt any type heat from an oven...ANNNND it had chicken (not the plant based chik'n). No apology from the manager on duty. We've been to other Mellow Mushroom locations and the pizza is typically delicious, with amazing customer service no issues.. If you're ok with subpar (plant based) pizza options & a staff of kids playing around with the food then this is your spot. Otherwise, you're better off going across the street to Kroger and getting a frozen pizza from Wicked Kitchen. read more

Mellow Mushroom Evans - For the price and the wait, they could have at least heated the pizza up to cook/ warm the toppings. - Pizza Near Me - Evans, Georgia

My Husband and I were looking for the best pizza in our area and, I'm happy to say that Mellow Mushroom has become our #1 fave. You have us as customers for life. We tried the Cloud 9 Wings ( The Flavor was On Point) , Pretzel Bites ( The buttery goodness had us hooked) The Kosmic Karma and, Buffalo Chicken Pizza ( The Pizza was amazing!) I love that you can choose from a different variety of Pies or create your own. I can't wait to come back soon read more

Love the food, drinks, & atmosphere! Can't go wrong with any of their pizza. Service is always great.

Our groupe of ten was promptly seated over one booth and one table. We ordered to share the hummus with pita bread (fine) and the indulgent and delicious artichoke dips with bread slices. Thanks to my Yelp check-in enabling a special offer, Mellow mushroom gave us free and tasty pretzel bites. Out of the Holy Shiitake mushroom, Pepperoni and vegetable pizza slices, I liked the most the vegetable option. All toppings were fresh. The Holy Shiitake mushroom pizza slice was too greasy and could use more mushrooms. I would not reorder it. At the end of the meal, our waitress brought without us asking one pizza box. It was easy to park. They had handicapped parking places. read more

I've never had a bad experience here. It's been awhile since I've been, but you can't go wrong with a calzone, wings or sharing a pizza with the family. The eccentric look of the outside draws you in, along with it being a nice family atmosphere. I may need to pay them a visit soon to have the taste on my pallet. :) read more

There's two parts to this review and I'm not sure how to average them together. After the location in SLC closed I was happy to visit this one when visiting family in Georgia. They had the menu items that we've always loved so that was a major plus! We were able to sample two beers that we were torn about before making a decision which was super nice. (Unheard of in Utah!) we started with the pretzel bites with beer cheese (Yelp offer). I could drink that cheese if only it was socially acceptable to do so! We the ordered a half and half pizza. It's super nice that we're able to do that even though our base sauces are different. Half potato and half cosmic karma. I'd suggest getting light cheese on them because with the pesto drizzle and olive oil base/spicy ranch, things do get a bit greasy. The second part of this is that the tables being seated were close together. There wasn't much effort in spacing them out or blocking some out for spacing. It would have been nice with the times to have a little distance between my table and the one next to me. Hopefully when covid dies down and we go back to normal this won't be an issue and I'll be back! read more

Very yummy!!!!!!!!!!!! I recommend you get pizza with ranch it is so gooooood! The service was good also I guess

I've been to this location three times and now feel I can give an honest review. On all three occasions the pizzas were the usual mellow mushroom quality and very good. The funky q bbq chicken was my favorite. I'd stay away from the cookies though because they were hard and tasted old. The service however needs work. On the last two occasions there were four young ladies, that appeared to be high school age, working the front. Three of the four were more concerned with chatting with each other acted as if customers coming in were interrupting them. The fourth was friendly and was trying hard to help customers. I have no problem with young people working but they need to have some guidance, supervision, and training on customer service. It was obvious that these young ladies had not received any training or being supervised in any way. This is a failing on management and not the young ladies. Kudos to the fourth young lady who was trying hard. One final comment I have not specific to this location but about mellow mushroom in general. The online ordering system needs a major overhaul. The online ordering site is clunky and hard to navigate. If you want a good pizza and don't care about customer service then you should eat/order from here. read more

Pizza and beer is always a great combination and Mellow Mushroom brings you just that, but with colorful walls and paintings of mushrooms and the like all over the place. This place looks like it's a bit Alice in Wonderland meets pizza. Thankfully, there's both good pizza and beer within these walls. We did a half-half pizza of the House Special and the Magical Mystery Tour. Hands down, House Special wins in taste! This pizza is no joke! You can taste all the ingredients from the tomato sauce to all the delicious meats and veggies on this pizza. The crust was great-- a crisp bottom with a doughy top portion. The Magical Mystery Tour was good at first slice (I'm glad we were able to do half-half!) but really not as good as the former. This is a different pizza that's cheesier with a flavorful crust. The jalapenos give it a nice contrast of flavor, but I wish there were a bit more. A medium was well-enough for the two of us, since we also shared wings in a Thai sweet chili sauce (I'd skip the wings). I also got a beer-- their Monday Night Nitro Drafty Kilt was delicious and just the thing I needed to settle into my travels. Service was excellent and our waitress was super nice! I'm so glad I found this place! read more

Disgustingly dirty tonight. The dining area was completely filthy. Sat at an unclean table. The floor must not have been swept all day. Crusts of pizza on floor hitting our toes. Bathroom a disaster- and literally could not be used if you wanted to think about eating after! How dirty must the food prep area be?? The restaurant was not even busy when we were there. read more

To harken back to one of the most popular words from the early 2000's, it's aight. Look folks, I'm from Illinois aka land of deep dish pizza so the standard is pretty high. As far as pizza goes, I've had it a couple of times and the crust doesn't impress me, a little greasy and lacks flavor. I've had the Greek salad and it's aight. I will say I appreciate that they offer two sizes for salads: small (correct portion) and large (portion for at least 3 people). My hubby swears by the buffalo chicken calzone and loves the beer selection. As far as service goes...average to slightly above average. I want to write more details but I'm so neutral about this place! I would return because it's an easy option for families and has a menu to appease most taste buds. Extra points for a clean bathroom! Clean bathroom = Clean kitchen Update: I like Mellow Mushroom, it's good pizza and you get a consistent experience. I really like the Great White and Kosmic Karma pies. My only feedback is on service. It's prompt...a little too prompt. The servers zoom around like crazy which can make it hard to grab their attention if you need something. Overall, a solid choice for pizza. I now can confidently say it's better than aight. read more

I stopped in to revisit Mellow Mushroom after four and a half years. There was not a Mellow Mushroom in Hawaii so I was craving it once I returned and they sure didn't disappoint. Even with covid present the food was phenomenal and the staff was making necessary precautions. I would list all the food we ate but there was just to much. Take a look at my pics. Not one thing we ordered was disappointing. There is plenty of parking and the restrooms were clean which was an additional plus. read more

Definitely a kid friendly restaurant with a lot to look at. Pretzel bites were a great appetizer to share but it wasn't pretzel dough. It does come with a decent cheese sauce. A medium pizza is good for 2 people. We ordered the pacific rim pizza. Mellow red sauce base with mozzarella, ham, bacon, caramelized onions, pineapple, and jalapeños. The caramelized onions & jalapeños didn't really add to the pizza & it could have used some more pineapple. The pizza did come out hot. The crust did not really have much flavor but if you need a kid friendly restaurant then head here. read more

We wanted to try a local pizza place, and MM did not disappoint! Their pizza is very yum, the dough was perfect for me it was semi soft inside and perfectly crispy on the outside without being cardboard hard. The sauce was full of flavor all the meat on top was baked to perfection and not one piece charred. All my life I have hated crusts and never one that ate the crust no matter where we went but this pizza was so good I had to eat every last bite crust and all! Thank you for such a delicious dinner! read more

Mellow Mushroom Evans - Mighty Meaty from Mellow Mushroom - Pizza Near Me - Evans, Georgia

This was my first time ordering from Mellow Mushrooms. We picked up the pizzas so I can't comment on the ambience or service. We got a large Holy Shiitake Pie which was my favorite. Overall flavor was spot on, the aioli swirl on top was a good flavor enhancer but I didn't detect the truffle oil. I love mushrooms so wished it had more mushroom topping but would definitely order this pie again. The crust was good - flavorful, just the right thickness, not soggy. The Veg Out and Mighty Meat were decent options too. They have an extensive menu which include burgers, sandwiches, calzones, salads, cocktails and they provide vegan as well as gluten free options. I look forward to trying many things from their menu. read more

How does one begin to tell about the most amazing dinner of ones life? The evening began with an incredible group of friends gathered at the mellowist of mushrooms. It ended with this dope picture of us with the mushroom guy. We didn't even have to pay to take a picture with him unlike the scam artists in NYC Times Square. I mean please explain to me how buzz lightyear is worth $20 to take a picture....anyways, the service was amazing for our larger group. The pretzels were spot on like always and the pizza was made by the hands of some of the most experienced pizza tossers in the area. I highly recommend this location. read more

Mellow Mushroom Evans - Mushroom Guy! - Pizza Near Me - Evans, Georgia

I'd say this was an average visit compared to other locations. The service was quick and friendly but there were a couple of small things like dirty plates and random dirty areas on the table/seat. We had a lil Greek salad (yummy---thanks Yelp!), which was enough for us to split and a small half buffalo chicken half modified house pie. The house side of the pizza was pretty awesome with toppings that were piled high. Because I saw so many buffalo chicken pie pictures I wanted to give it a try for the other half...It may just be me but I didn't think it tasted all that great. Not sure but the chicken seemed pulled with little flavor (greatful for the buffalo sauce) and the ranch was not a good combo on the pie. Either way I am going to chalk it up to preference. Overall we spent about 30 minutes in the restaurant and again, it was a pretty average visit sans the couple of unclean plates/table. read more

Normally Mellow has my favorite atmosphere and people. There service is normally top notch and the food excellent. On the particular Friday night after getting a small Caesar, which was wonderful, we waited 45 minutes for the pizza we ordered at the same time. Our waitress didn't bother to ask if we wanted another drink or to inform us of any issues, until we asked. All we were told is the kitchen is backed up. All it takes is communication. We will not come back to this Mellow. read more

Not sure what the problem was tonight, but my online order took close to an hour for curbside service. I paid ahead including a nice tip, so I was a little put out when I called to check on my order only to be put on hold immediately then disconnected TWICE! Good times, great food! A couple of girl friends and I went to this location for some good laughs and food-- and that's exactly what we got! The Apps: For starters, I ordered the 5piece bbq wings. They were pretty standard- nothing to flip over. Tangy bbq sauce that was a 3 out of 5. Celery sticks and your choice of rance or blue cheese...eh. The Drinks: Can't remember the name of the cocktail I ordered, but it was STRONG (I'm not a huge drinker) and made well! The FOOD: I ordered a small house special with no mushrooms or tomatoes with banana peppers, extra sauce and extra onions and. It. Was. EVERYTHING!!!! The pizza was made just right! Crust not to hard or doughy and the flavors/toppings were just right! The Service and Price: The wait was15min-the place was packed! (Typical Friday night) The service was pretty good. Our waiter was polite and knowledgeable when it came to the menu. My ticket came out to be around 25.00...eh All in all, I'd recommend Mellow Mushroom. I like this locations atmosphere betted than the downtown location. Mellow Mushroom is a bit pricey but it's not your typical Pizza Hut or Dominos so I guess... Try It! :-) read more

This was my first time coming to Mellow Mushroom in what seems like ages and it is definitely a lot better than I remember! Servers were sweet and helpful, the restaurant was clean and the decor and wall art was off the chain lol. Although they are know for their pizza, Mellow Mushroom does serve other things such as calzones, hoagies, burgers and more. Plus, military discount! We started off with the pesto aioli cheesy bread and spinach artichoke dip. Although the cheesy bread was good, the dip was to die for! It was one of the most incredible dips I have had at a restaurant. It just seemed to melt in my mouth with each and every bite I took. For entrees, we all had pizza! I ordered a small house special, basically a supreme. My husband had one called Pacific Rim which was something like a spicy Hawaiian pizza, our friends shared a buffalo ranch chicken pizza, and the kids all had a small cheese pizza. Our food can put in a timely manner and it had good flavor. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we are ready for our next trip to Mellow Mushroom! read more

The wife and I went to the Mellow Mushroom the other day and decided to stray from our usual menu choice of pizza. The wife decided to try the Mushroom soup while I went with the BBQ wings. We also ordered Balsamic Bruschetta with tomato and basil as an appetizer. Every bit of this meal was deliciously delightful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was laid back and comfortable.
