He said my husband needed a heavy cleaning and they broke 3 of his teeth. My husband thought it was odd that the oral hygienist administered him antibiotics and sent him on his way. But less than a week later his face was so swollen. He went back to Haws only to have two more teeth break soon after. We had paid him cash for years and just recently got insurance that I made sure he took. Before I bought the policy. Interesting enough he no longer takes Anthem Blue Cross insurance. He knew his hygienist did this. Accidentally or not it has cost us about $10,000 to fix. No accountability from Dr. Haws at all. He is only about the dollar. We have moved on.

Probably not, so here it goes. I came to Dr. Streegan when I relocated to Solvang from Florida. Like many of us, I never had a great experience in the dental chair. Pretty much every visit ended in tears and disappointment. I knew I was having dental issues, but was constantly dismissed by my claims. As you can imagine, this has led me to become extremely anxious about dentist visits. It all changed when I walked into Dr. Streegan's office. Her and her staff's warm, friendly demeanors were incredibly welcoming. She not only believed my concerns, but she substantiated my claims and identified exactly what needed to get done to elevate the discomfort. No other dentist has done this. Now onto the "spa treatment." I've been to her office twice for cavity fillings and let me tell you, it's comparable to a relaxing hammam massage that transports you to your happy place. Today was my second "spa day" at Dr. Streegan's office. It was so relaxing while she worked, that I dosed off. To be clear, I was so relaxed and so comfortable during a cavity filling, that I actually fell asleep. We're talking about someone who is every dentists worst nightmare and cries hysterically during simple cleanings. I actually enjoy and look forward to cleanings and fillings with Dr. Streegan. If I ever have to move, I'm going to have to save my air miles to see her every 6 months or whenever I need another "spa experience." She and her team are THAT good.

Because of this, the new replacement did not fit and she drilled on the new on in order to try and make it fit. I have had to have a new dentist fix 3 crowns that she did for me. She also was very offended when I asked her to stop sharing her personal life with me and just focus on my teeth. This was by far the most unprofessional dentist I have ever seen. I would not recommend her due to my experience. I hope this review helps others.

My partner is always my guinea pig since he's a lot more tolerable and stoic than I am when it comes to the dentist. I receive a lot of compliments for my "white" teeth and a ​big smile, and that is enough pressure to continue taking good care of my teeth--and to suck it up every 6 months to go in for a cleaning. I have since been a patient of Dr. Miller for a year (two visits total). The office is modern and pleasant in appearance with complimentary tea and juice when you walk in. Note: It can be a bit tricky to find since it is in the offices off Patterson Street between the post office and freeway. You turn on Debby Street as if you're going to the Patterson Place apartments, but continue straight and slightly​ right at the fork in the road to the offices. It's the first building on the left and one of the last offices on the right (ground floor). The staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating​. For example, when my insurance was switching over to a new plan, they were able to fit me in last minute. Both of the dental hygienists who cleaned my teeth were absolutely interested in my health and comfort. I am always sure to make them aware that I have some gum recession and sensitive spots. They use some numbing creams and sprays to make the cleaning as comfortable as possible. Shout-out to Nancy and Connie for being so kind and skilled at their jobs! Dr. Miller is so chill and friendly. He meets with you at the end of the cleaning to go over any findings or congratulate you on taking great care of your teeth. They always remind me of​ how to properly​ floss and tell me about ways to better take care of my teeth and maintain a healthy mouth. I think they go above and beyond in providing teaching points. I am truly so grateful to have found Dr. Beres and his amazing team…read more I'm actually proud of myself for taking the time to research extensively and find the right dentist, because I didn't just find a great doctor, I found an entire office that genuinely cares. From the beginning, everyone has been kind, professional, accommodating, and very thoughtful about insurance, billing, and making sure I understood everything. Today I had dental work done, and it ended up being more involved than expected. Dr. Beres did a beautiful job, and what impressed me even more was that he personally called me later that evening to check on how I was feeling and to make sure I had taken the medication I was supposed to take. I will say I have had no issues with the staff and they've all been very kind even doctor Denny as well no issues as far as hospitality. In fact, I loved everyone there. As far as the appointments, though, something was off and a little fishy. He had said one tooth had too many fillings and it needed a veneer so I did that and it was a huge amount of money. I think it was around $800. After that I had problems with the tooth and he said it could've been a hairline fracture or it could need a cap and he was ready to schedule an appointment for that. Not only that is he pointed out that I had about three teeth with cavities in it. I also asked him to shave down my teeth and some areas from some bad fillings. I had gotten previously from a different dentist and he never did that for me. I decided to go to Kendall Rhodes associates. They didn't find any of the cavities. There was nothing wrong with the tooth that he wanted to fix a hairline fracture for. Not only that is on a very first appointment the dentist smooth out my fillings without me having to ask, she knows it and said how terrible and just went into it. I'm blown away. I want to believe that this is a good dentist and that money isn't a contributing factor to the decisions he made on my teeth. But I'm having a really hard time justifying all the money that I've spent. I'm very thankful I went to another dentist where I feel like they aren't just trying to milk my money.
