He said my husband needed a heavy cleaning and they broke 3 of his teeth. My husband thought it was odd that the oral hygienist administered him antibiotics and sent him on his way. But less than a week later his face was so swollen. He went back to Haws only to have two more teeth break soon after. We had paid him cash for years and just recently got insurance that I made sure he took. Before I bought the policy. Interesting enough he no longer takes Anthem Blue Cross insurance. He knew his hygienist did this. Accidentally or not it has cost us about $10,000 to fix. No accountability from Dr. Haws at all. He is only about the dollar. We have moved on.

She also was very offended when I asked her to stop sharing her personal life with me and just focus on my teeth. This was by far the most unprofessional dentist I have ever seen. They're all closed!!! Dr. Smith and his staff took me in though and evaluated my condition. Although he no longer does extractions, he prescribed me some antibiotics and gave me a referral for an oral surgeon. He is very sweet and gentle. His receptionist was kind and helpful too. My husband and I go to Mexico for all of our big dental work but if ever we're stuck with an emergency, we'll definitely come back.

I will say I have had no issues with the staff and they've all been very kind even doctor Denny as well no issues as far as hospitality. In fact, I loved everyone there. As far as the appointments, though, something was off and a little fishy. He had said one tooth had too many fillings and it needed a veneer so I did that and it was a huge amount of money. I think it was around $800. After that I had problems with the tooth and he said it could've been a hairline fracture or it could need a cap and he was ready to schedule an appointment for that. Not only that is he pointed out that I had about three teeth with cavities in it. I also asked him to shave down my teeth and some areas from some bad fillings. I had gotten previously from a different dentist and he never did that for me. I decided to go to Kendall Rhodes associates. They didn't find any of the cavities. There was nothing wrong with the tooth that he wanted to fix a hairline fracture for. Not only that is on a very first appointment the dentist smooth out my fillings without me having to ask, she knows it and said how terrible and just went into it. I'm blown away. I want to believe that this is a good dentist and that money isn't a contributing factor to the decisions he made on my teeth. But I'm having a really hard time justifying all the money that I've spent. I'm very thankful I went to another dentist where I feel like they aren't just trying to milk my money.
