I finally got myself set up as a new patient. I found this office to be very professional and friendly. It's also close to home which is a bonus. During my new patient meeting, Dr. Beres took his time reviewing my x-rays and discussing my dental care. A few weeks later I came in for my cleaning. Mary cleaned my teeth. She was very gentle. I liked my experience there. The central coast has long wait times for scheduling appointments so plan ahead. read more

I am very afraid of the dentist, have been since I was 7. Went a good 18 years without seeing a dentist out of fear. I recently visited this dentist for the first time due to an emergency and was so impressed by the entire staff, especially Darline, who was so helpful and kind in getting me in! I'm one of those scared of the dentists, and everyone I met made me feel comfortable and explained so that I understood what steps would need to be taken. They even got me into an oral surgeon that afternoon. Dr. Beres was very kind and didn't look like he would hurt me too much...haha. I was very impressed with the quality of service I received during my initial visit and cleaning, and they even found some cement that had been left under my implant (over 10 years old) which had been missed by others, was irritating my gum tissue, and removed it. For starters, I hate 99% of dentists. They don't warn you when they are going to stick you with a needle, they let sit around for days in the waiting room, some try to pack too many patients into a day and you only get 5 minutes of time with your actual dentist versus their assistants. Dr Beres and his staff are not like that at all. I rarely wait longer than 5 minutes to be seen, he even met me in his office on a Sunday after I had a tooth knocked out in hockey and has always been very kind and informative. He and his staff are always willing to talk through the options and answer any questions. Highly recommend his practice to anyone looking for a dentist. read more

Dr.Beres has been my dentist for many, many years - he is without a doubt the best I've been to. My husband and I have lived in several states and have gone to a minimum of twenty dentists. Not one has been as competent, trustworthy, conscientious and caring as Dr. Beres. My husband had gotten an estimate for extensive dental work which he was questioning. I had already chosen Dr. Beres as my dentist and suggested that he get a second opinion from him. He went in for a routine new-patient exam and was told that his teeth were fine! That proved to be correct, and he was saved the expense and discomfort of having unnecessary work done.
