I had a lot of dental work done, and I was so happy with the quality of Dr. Hlavaty's work. I appreciate their honesty, integrity, and professionalism! I've had crazy experiences with dental offices in SB in the past, and this office has got me feeling a lot more positive about ringing quality care out here.

I can't say enough good things about this practice from Tamera at the front desk, to my hygienist John, to the doc himself. Highly recommend for quality service!

I have found her to have simpler and less expensive solutions to my issues than other dentists. I first came to her after another dentist told me I was gonna need thousands of dollars worth of endo-dentistry done. I needed to see Dr Su a few times in a row, and she taught me how to take better care of my teeth myself on a daily basis. Five years later, I still have beautiful healthy teeth and gums and didn't have to do the expensive and painful procedures. It's also nice not to have to drive to Santa Barbara just to go to the dentist. I highly recommend her practice.

He contacted multiple dentists, including the one that our family had been seeing for years. The only dentist that was able/willing to see him during the weekend was Dr. Brian Carey. Dr. Carey spent several hours with my son, taking care of his dental needs, providing him with x-rays, prescriptions and follow up care. Because it was the weekend, none of his staff were available - Dr. Carey did all the work on his own. Since then, our entire family has moved to Dr. Carey's office for dental care. He ALWAYS explains what is going on, spends a great deal of time with each of us to ensure that our questions are answered. He has also worked with my other adult children when they have not had dental coverage to assist in making the best dental care decisions that fit their wallet. HE IS A GENUINE, NICE GUY WHO CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS! The staff is friendly and know our names whenever we come in. Insurance and billing questions are explained clearly and openly. I have not met anyone in that office will not take time with a patient. I wish that ALL health care professionals were this good.

Unnecessary treatments, no numbing application was applied for my veneer when getting it put on,…read morereally high-end prices I decided to go here because I saw good reviews on here. I will say I have had no issues with the staff and they've all been very kind even doctor Denny as well no issues as far as hospitality. In fact, I loved everyone there. As far as the appointments, though, something was off and a little fishy. He had said one tooth had too many fillings and it needed a veneer so I did that and it was a huge amount of money. I think it was around $800. After that I had problems with the tooth and he said it could've been a hairline fracture or it could need a cap and he was ready to schedule an appointment for that. Not only that is he pointed out that I had about three teeth with cavities in it. I also asked him to shave down my teeth and some areas from some bad fillings. I had gotten previously from a different dentist and he never did that for me. I decided to go to Kendall Rhodes associates. They didn't find any of the cavities. There was nothing wrong with the tooth that he wanted to fix a hairline fracture for. Not only that is on a very first appointment the dentist smooth out my fillings without me having to ask, she knows it and said how terrible and just went into it. I'm blown away. I want to believe that this is a good dentist and that money isn't a contributing factor to the decisions he made on my teeth. But I'm having a really hard time justifying all the money that I've spent. I'm very thankful I went to another dentist where I feel like they aren't just trying to milk my money.
