Located super close to the Sonoma Square, this studio was easy to find, convenient to drop-into, and provided us exactly the flow class we needed. I went on a Sunday morning and my husband actually went on Saturday and Sunday. The class was challenging, instructor was attentive and motivating, and the energy in the class was super positive. They also have mats, blocks, blankets, etc... and the studio and bathrooms are clean. (Sadly, that isn't always the case). I love the Hot Pilates so much, and 20 & 2, but I am really enjoying the newer (to us) Radiant Power Flow Class Elias teaches (for now they are Thursday at 9). He is an exceptional instructor and the class is unique. I work as hard and sweat as much as in 26& 2, but in only one hour with less heat. All classes are great, there is something for everyone and the variety is essential!

I've been practicing 30 plus years everywhere from Los Angeles to San Francisco to New York. The classes in big cities tend to be stricter, and take the same approach bikram himself takes when he teaches. Sonoma has only one or two teachers who take this approach and although everyone's complaining I have to say- for bikram lovers - the hard core teaching is amazing. You would not get upset at your personal trainer for pushing you, so why is this any different? I'm a person who needs extra help staying disciplined and a good, strict bikram teacher can be the best thing ever.

It's always been a work in progress. The yurt is a new addition;there's now a gift shop. At the communal kitchen, there are vegetarian/vegan meals for visitors. There is a special yoni (womb) shaped fire pit for puja (worship) as well as lingam symbols for Shiva. There is a syncretistic blend of Hindu, Buddhist, and Christian imagery throughout the property.
