Finally found a new eyelash place in South Bay I love! I've gotten my eyelash done at most of the lash service nail salons around North Redondo and Torrance. With its growing popularity, I can understand why the prices for lash extensions are at an all time high. That being said, I've seen prices double at my normal stomping grounds within the past year. I was desperate to find somewhere new in my area, a place where quality was matched by price. My boyfriend somehow noticed the "LASH SPECIAL GRAND OPENING" banner outside of this salon, with a $75 special price. Since it was so affordable, I thought it was worth giving it a try, but my expectations were low. I was proven wrong!!! Melanie did an amazing job with my volume cat eye lashes. I originally came in for a fill but she went ahead and gave me a fresh set so they would look their best. She was also done in a little over an hour, which we all know is fairly fast. I booked through Yelp but ended up calling  instead. I spoke to Vince when I made my appointment. He is very friendly and explained the different types of lashes, shapes, and sizes, Since this was my third time getting extensions and I still get nervous, speaking to him calmed my nerves down. Melanie is great. The whole process was comfortable and relaxing. She played good background music and I might have fallen asleep a bit. FYI: The days you are available listed here is incorrect, clearly you were not available in Redondo on Friday (day after my procedure) as listed on yelp. Also I do not have allergies to latex and pregnancy is not causing the hypersensitivity. There was no questioning regarding allergies before we started procedure. It was clearly one of product that was used that caused a reaction. I don't know all my allergies however I did mention during procedure I was experiencing irritation during but this concern was not addressed and overlooked. It took forever for my eyes to heal and it is still yet bothering me to this day. Also it is very confusing how your company only had one review when I reviewed your establishment 5 days ago but now all of sudden has 6 reviews that were written before I wrote my review. This doesn't make sense. Just clarifying few things from your response that made it sound like it was my fault I didn't mention the allergies and your company was trying to be accommodating which wasn't the case. Just two cents, those who plan on the extension should be aware of possible severe side effect when having this done involving eyes. Products and chemical come in contact very close to your lash and without proper precaution you can suffer severe consequence! read more

It has been 17 days since I got my eyelashes done with Melanie and they still look good. Yes some eyelashes have fallen but my eyelashes are still in good condition. I selected a 5 star because I had asked for a really natural classic look and I achieved the look I wanted but I was just a little upset because I asked for the length a little less longer. But either or the eyelashes still look great! The price was worth it! Will be coming back here again. PS* for those wondering about how I maintained my eyelashes, i literally used goggles when I took a shower and when it was bedtime I just tried sleeping straight lol. They said not to wear makeup or have any oils around the eyelashes because they can fall but I honestly still did it. I would even wear eyeliner lol. I would just be very careful when taking off my makeup especially around my eyelashes. I would use Laura Mercier with a Q-tip to take off my makeup and it's oil-free. :) read more

I got my eyelashes service March 9th the experience was fine, until I went home and my husband and co workers noticed the difference I was trying not to notice. There was a big difference of fullness and a straight up gap between my lashes they weren't full and I payed for the hybrid lashes. I called to let her know and she filled them in on the 13th. The day of my appointment my lashes had significantly gotten thinner! I have had extensions before and I know how to take care of my lashes and not get water on them. I however would wake up and there would be lashes on my arm on my pillow at first I thought this was normal then I was like Nope I have never needed a fill this quick!!! Melanie is super sweet and takes her time doing your lashes. She's super precise and really knows where to place the lashes to take them appear natural, yet full and long. The bed that you lay on is very comfortable you could almost fall asleep lol. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for lash extensions. read more

Melanie doesn't speak much English but is nice. I've had my lashes for 3 days now and I can tell they will last a long time. Probably 5/6 weeks - not my first rodeo with lashes. Worst place that I have been so far. First I call in the guy pick up and I made an appointment he ask that did I know about the price... I told him please can you tell me the price and he said full set is $145 I replied ok thanks. I got my Groupon Voucher already. After that he told me to cancel he will give 5%off of that Groupon price because is hard for him to get the payment or sth like that... I don't care abt that 5% off but I try to help him to cancel but I can't. I call back and he got mad n close n say okay just come! I mean WTF?? Of coursework want to get in a cheaper price. So when I got there the lady is really nice she has my eyebrows extensions done pretty good. After two day my lash start falling off pretty bad. I call back n the guy was like did you put anything around your eye I said no. He said he only has one app that is the time I work... and after that he doesn't has anything anymore. That's mean he doesn't want to repair for me. AVIOD THIS PLACE!!!!! Wasting my money!!!!!!!! Here is how they feedback to their customers!!! First off I was nice enough to let you in as soon as I have the appointment became available On that first day you came in. I was nice enough to offer you the fix within 3Days free of charge which your Groupon deals "does not" offer that to you. I came to Melanie Lash for a set of Classic Natural Eyelashes after finding a groupon deal. The procedure took about an hour and I have to say, they're about the best lashes I've ever had! I've had my lashes done many times with different technicians and I can't stress enough how "naturally full" I want them to look, yet they usually tend to end up looking fake. Well Melanie gave me exactly what I asked for. My eyes do not feel heavy at all and I'm three days in and have only had minimal shedding and that was only because I accidentally scratched my eye.
