In the mood for something different so i tried thai. Atmosphere: 4 star. Above average and clean but not spectacular. Service: 5 stars for service from our waitress Halily. Quality: 4 stars. I enjoyed the noodles and rice. Overall I felt the food was above average. Value: 5 star. The price and the food was a good buy with a healthy amount of meat.

First time. I ordered the pad see ew with medium spice. I can attest that it was spicy but not overwhelming. The noodle and vegetable ratio was perfect and tofu was not too crispy. I ordered take out but would recommend dining in, it's a cute place with friendly staff.

Food leans towards spicy! Everything is top notch tasting. Best peanut sauce! Red curry is my favorite and pad Thai.

Service and the ambience unwelcoming so we didn't even want to sit at all! Customer service needs improvement!

If you are using maps- it takes you to the building- go around back!…read more We did take out Spring rolls- good actually made fresh which is the best!! Bahn mi combo - bread was spot on flavorful and we did no jalepenos! Bahn mi pork- oh the pork was flavorful and it was everything you want in a Bahn Mi! Friendly and spotless the place looked like they just opened and everything was new- that's how clean it was! They were very friendly and fast! Definitely good food and good service!

Pho bonsa 1. Beef…read morepho- beef bowl has all the different types of beef and they say its the most ordered menu item. There was an option for tendon because some people dont like the chewiness but I asked for one to try it out no extra cost. Tenderloin was pretty good, similar chew to a gummy candy, not too chewy but still substance to it. Flavor wise was pretty mild but enjoyable. Meatball was my top 2 fav meat in there. 2 Half of a meat ball tastes like the steamed meat balls from chinese dim sums if you've ever tried. Theres some super tender melt in your mouth strips of beef, like a boiled beef version of bacon. All pretty good. The soup was on the mild side, the aroma wasnt noticable. Regular noodles, I feel like a short amount of noodles but they did kinda load up on meat. Also a plate of bean sprouts, like, jalapeno, and basil on the side. Dumpling: this is a must get. Its less like a dumpling and more like potaticker or gyoza. Super crunchy, got really nice browning without any charred taste. Inside was super hot and fresh. The sauce was 10/10. Must dip every bite so good. And a good amount for the price. Thai tea: everyone says its good. Flavor was really good and sweet. But compared other thai teas, its hard to mess up thai tea. Maybe only slightly sweeter than a regular thai tea. Its as good as any other thai tea. So its good Extra Pretty busy at saturday 6:30pm They have the option of main seats and have seats in the back. Restaurant Kinda hidden in a parking lot Side of hoisin and siracha on table Table also has disposable chopsticks, reudable soup spoons, and other options They got long seats and single chairs. Long seat is just wood, no cushion Simple menu, no back side, straight to the point Pay on the counter after eating Overall, Ive had better pho, usually pho has an amazing aroma so this one lacked on their and flavor. But the dumplings were fire. I would come back just for dumplings. For that, I'd give it a 4/5

I reeeeeally wanted to like this place and after many attempts to eat here (and finding them…read moreclosed), I FINALLY discovered them open during the Downtown Christmas Preview. I was beyond excited to try the spicy katsu chicken sando (I literally attempted eating here for 2 months but kept missing their open hours. They are VERY limited). The pricing I was charged was a bit more than what was on their menu, which I hadn't noticed until after the fact. :-/ When the sandwich arrived it was not at all what expected. I looked up the sandwich months ago and it appeared to be a juicy chicken breast between sliced cabbage on thick, fluffy bread. What I got was some beat up, flattened GREEEEEEASY gummy chicken that wasn't the least bit appetizing. It reminded me of frog legs and I was pretty much grossed out after the 2nd bite. The bread was exactly the same as Astesano Bakery Bread and didn't seem "home made" as their menu states. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't (home made) but it sure seemed like the same bread I buy at Safeway. Needless to say I was BEYOND bummed out. I guess that's partially my fault though, I mean... I saw a picture they used to have posted on their menu (it's no longer there) and had expectations that it was going to be exactly the same, which it most certainly was NOT. If I could sum it up in 2 words: Gummy & Greasy. Yuck. The best part was the cabbage so, that's what I ate and ditched the rest of the "sandwich" to the trash. So yeah, $13 + tip for some cabbage. Awesome. With that said, I don't recommend this place for the Sando's but! I may return for the egg rolls. They look good in the pictures however since I got 100% duped this time around, I think I'll ask if anybody I personally know has tried the egg rolls first before I spend any more money here. I do like their outdoor dining and if they could move the ginormous trash bins away from the outside dining tables it would be a great place to dine (who wants to eat next to trash cans??) I'll end on a positive note and say, I did like that they have an option of indoor or outdoor dining, if they move the trash cans, that would be my preferred place to eat.

Such a lovely and unique spot that adds to the fun of downtown Chico. Today I just tried the Hmong sausage and Thai tea. The lady working was sweet and let me sample the tea to test its sweetness. I think it's spot-on. The sausage is perfectly juicy, spicy and savory. It's rich, flavorful, and reminds me of the holidays.

Debbie's isn't one of those places you find just anywhere when looking for someplace for breakfast…read morebut once you find it, you make note of it so that if your ever able to make it back this way again, you'll visit. That was my thought the first time I went there and I was even more pleased because we had just migrated to the area and can visit anytime ! Debbie's is just how you'd imagine a small coffee cafe to be, homey with farm style furnishings, a lunch counter and friendlier staff then you may have expected. At slower times ( not days, I've yet to see them have any of those!) your invited to sit wherever you choose. The menu is simple, the usual fare you'd expect for a diner but don't let that put you off. There hasn't been one thing I've tried off it that hasn't been delicious and portioned generously. A specialty of the house are their "thin" pancakes. Crepe-like but not a crepe, it is a pancake and you can get them plain or blueberry, I recommend the blueberry but I'm partial to blueberries. I don't ever order pancakes EVER but, this caught my eye so I gave em a try. I order pancakes now. Well, I order pancakes at Debbie's. Parking can be an issue, they're a small place and parking is limited but thankfully you can park on the street if the lot is full. If you're traveling in this area, this is one of those local gems you definitely don't want to pass on.

I was just visiting and decided to give my kids break and pick up lunch. The place seems warm and comfortable and the hostess that gave me the order and the people that work there look like a family business. Very wonderful to see.
