First time here although I live 5 minutes away. I'm more of a Thai food guy but a friend suggested I try their wings as I love spicy wings but have been less than thrilled with the wing options in East Providence. I stopped in without calling in first and ordered spicy wings and sticky wings. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and efficient. I waited 20 minutes for the wings which I was fine with for ordering at the counter. The wings were crispy and delicious. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

I didn't expect a gourmet place, just a good ole' hole in the wall Chinese place. Unfortunately, the place was more run down then expected. The seats were ripped & smelled dingy. The boneless chicken fingers tasted like old grease. I was not a fan & would not return. I did give 2 stars because my son said his dumplings were good & the prices were cheap.

We asked for waters as well and let the waiter, who was always available, know when we needed a refill. Everything we ordered was tasty, fresh, well prepared and nicely presented. I had expected a bit more spice on some of the dishes, but they were all very mild, so if you are worried about Sichuan spiciness or heat, you can put that worry to rest. Chopsticks only are at the table and although we didn't ask for forks, I suspect they could rustle some up for you if needed. The hot & sour soup is good according to my SO who gets it everywhere (and will let me know if it's a thumbs up or down). The décor is lovely and everything is clean, including the gender neutral restroom. The staff we encountered were all very pleasant and service was excellent. They did a good amount of take out business during our visit. Free on-street parking was easy to find during our week day lunch visit.

Also got an egg drop soup. Food was ready when we got there, service was good All the food was good, General Tso and the 3 cup chicken were stand outs. Could taste all the flavors in the 3 cup, really good. General tso was good but not too spicy. Fried rice was solid. All in all, an excellent meal

We have gotten the crab rangoons before and let me tell you - these things are huge! They're not skimpy little suckers at all. Staff is always friendly and get you through the line quickly! We usually sit and eat for a bit then head out with our leftovers. The last time, one of the workers saw we were getting ready to leave and motioned for me to come over to grab a takeout bag - so attentive and accommodating. The food is excellent, with many dishes that can be prepared spicy or not, depending on your preference. Our waitress was wonderful--warm, attentive, and welcoming. It almost felt like being in a Chinese home. The dumplings, in particular, reminded me of the kind we make ourselves--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I wasn't planning to order dessert, but I'm so glad we did. The tiramisu-style cake was a delightful surprise and the perfect ending to the meal. I'm already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended.

On June 14th, everything is half off and on June 15th, 20% off storewide. My husband and I came back to Rong Chic on June 14th. The restaurant was busy with all the festivities and it was full. We waited about 20-30 minutes for a table. There were balloons everywhere and the space was renovated with new tables and tablecloths. Even the menus are have been upgraded to a nicer glossy paper. We ordered a few dishes to share: scallion pancakes, mapo tofu, sweet and sour pineapple chicken, and tofu cheesecake. The scallion pancakes were crispy and infused with fresh scallions, topped with sesame seeds and chopped scallions. The mapo tofu is soft tofu cubes simmered in a spicy Sichuan chili sauce with minced pork. Mapo tofu over rice is always so good. The sweet and sour pineapple chicken were crispy chicken pieces stir-fried with pineapple chunks, bell peppers, and onions in a sweet and tangy sauce. It was very good. The best and must get is the tofu cheesecake. I always have to get this to end the meal. Congratulations on Rong Chic's grand opening! Staff were friendly and attentive even though it was so busy. Looking forward to revising Rong Chic many more times in the future.

Staff greeted us and got to see it real quick. We and another party was only ones there lunch time. Probably more take out than dine in. Menu selection was huge, so much to choose from. My gf is from china so picked out some noteworthy dishes to try and they did not disappoint! 4/5 stirfry bacon with bamboo shoots was excellent. The bacon is more like the fatty cross section of pork that's thinly sliced. It had a smoky flavor to it which mixes well with the crunchy bamboo and peppers. The spice level was also just right to give the dish a good kick. 3.5/5 fried intestines were also good but just didn't hit as well as the other dishes. Maybe just not crunchy enough. At least also spiced well. 5/5 Salted egg yolk with tofu... I could not stop eating this dish with rice. I don't know what kind of tofu they were using, but it was super silky, but it was also maintaining its form really well in firmness so doesn't break apart in contact. The salty egg yolk flavor balances out with the tofu and rice. It's so it's like a comfort food for me. 4.5/5 beef with Longhorn peppers, definitely on the spicy side, which I love. This dish was a bit softer than normal, but I was fine since we had rice to go with it. The beef strands mixed well with the thin sliced peppers so it was easy chew and the spice packs a punch. Overall, I love this place and will definitely come again when I'm around the area. The menu is so huge that I feel like I have to come back multiple times just to try 80% of the menu.
