The Jackson Crossing Mall

I was not expecting to visit a mall on my recent Adventure. I solely came here to visit the health…read morefood store which I did not know was inside this mall. This place is a mini mall not a big mall. This place is very neglected unfortunately! There are giant holes the restrooms. They still had Christmas decorations up in July! They had parts of the mall section off but as a mini mall that could be walked around in like 3 minutes! It's got some unique shops to them but really it's more of a gathering space too assistant connects to other big box stores. There's an abandoned Carousel too. Inside of the place is old and outdated. It still gets fair foot though regardless

This is about the only decent place to go to in Jackson if you want to go shopping with several…read moreshops along an indoor shopping strip/mall. They have Best Buy, Dollar Tree, Dunhams, post office, health food store, Five Below, Bath and Bodyworks, Ross, TJ Max, Men's Wherehouse, Kohl's, Sephora, arcade, popcorn and candy store, video game store, furniture store, they even have the Secretary of State office to get your car registration updated! Oh and don't forget the Chocolate shop for those who are chocolate addicts. I come here from time to time and bring my kids here and they like the spinning doors, Five Below and Dollar Tree. If you're looking for a outlet mall type experience, Jackson Crossing comes pretty close, it doesn't have everything a full mall would have but they have enough. They have some discount stores that people will often frequent. If you're in Jackson and have nothing to do, you would probably come to Jackson Crossing.

Big Lots

Big Lots

Big Lots: A Treasure Trove for Discounted Finds and Friendly Service…read more My recent trip to Big Lots was a delightful surprise. Stepping into the store, I was greeted by a treasure trove of discounted merchandise, offering a refreshing alternative to big-box stores. One of the things that stood out to me most was their extensive selection of physical movies and Blu-rays. In an age of digital streaming, it was fantastic to see a store catering to those who still appreciate the nostalgic charm of owning a physical copy. Beyond the entertainment section, Big Lots impressed me with their furniture selection. They offered a surprising variety of furniture pieces at competitive prices, making it a great option for budget-conscious shoppers like myself. The quality seemed decent for the price point, and it felt like a place where you could score a hidden gem with a little browsing. But what truly elevated my Big Lots experience was the exceptional customer service. The cashier, who I believe was new based on her name tag, was incredibly friendly and informative. She patiently walked me through the rewards program signup process, explaining the benefits in a clear and concise manner. Her positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile made a lasting impression. Overall, my visit to Big Lots was a thoroughly positive one. It's a store that offers a unique shopping experience, combining great deals on various merchandise with friendly and helpful staff. If you're looking for a treasure hunt-style shopping trip with the potential to find hidden gems at affordable prices, Big Lots is definitely worth checking out. Negative update: I did get a copy of a Blu Ray that was supposed to be a double feature but was sold with a 6 year old Digital Code and made it no good. The company didn't want to do anything to fix the issue with the code tho. I'd return it if I didn't want the disc that came with it but paid for two movies and only got one
