This is by far my favorite Meijer by far. It's clean and always well-stocked. There is almost always someone around to help. John the greeter is always so genuinely cheerful and welcoming. He's got a great spirit and demeanor about him. Michael - the new customer service manager is absolutely amazing. Other staff such as Amy always made sure my experience is nothing but exceptional. This is the Meijer just across the street from my dentist. Since i can't find water chestnut snd bamboo shoots in the Meijer near home in florence, i decided to check in this one. The store is bright and clean, lots of stuff. But still can't find the things I'm looking for. Meijer used to carry those in their florence store. I end up bought bunch of greens for salad. This store seems carry more organic stuff than the store in florence. I like their parking lot, with marker, so i can easier find my car after shopping. I find in US, very limited place has marker on the parking spot. It's very challenging for me. read more

The store is decent itself, but literally EVERY customer I walked past reeked of pot! It's crappy to just want to go shopping and do your thing but be subjected to a contact high from all the potheads that shop at this store. What trash! I love Meijer but this one is the worst. The store is well setup but the employees are horrible. The self check outs are always covered in nasty, the self check attendant ( blonde female and dark haired male) yeah those two are always there either just talking to random people or completely ignoring you when you need assistance. Bags are always empty. I went there tonight and I guess the debit card system was down which is not a big deal but there was a long line and the blonde attendant was being rude to the customers when they got an error message that the debit card was denied telling them to run it as a credit sarcastically like they should have known. I get it we are moving to self checkouts but the attendant can at least pass the info on and not be a rude or ignorant to people. Last week, I went through the check out lane and the male acted like he didn't hear a lady ask to have the security tag removed. He just stared at here as if she was doing something wrong and then screamed at her to just continue scanning as he snatched the shirt from her. She told him she was just waiting on that and he just grunted at her. The week before, the blonde attendant accused a customer of placing a discount sticker on and item when it didn't ring up right. I was shocked to hear her say did you put this sticker on there. The customer replied that she had another of the same item and that there were 5 or 6 additional ones discounted in the aisle. The second one rung up at the correct price and then the blonde attendant just huffed and puffed while she fixed the price on the second item. No apology for accusing someone of doing illegal stuff. Honestly, I'm not even trying to listen. They are always yelling their interactions with the customers and the lines are always long so you over hear. Today, I'm embarrassed for them and I'm done shopping here. The management team needs to get it together and have their angry staff treat the customers with alittle humanity. read more

Recently, I posted a negative review about the $4.95 service fee for my pickup. I received a call today, explaining that it was an error on Meijer's part. He apologized and has a gift card waiting for me at customer service. Really, nice of them. They acknowledged the error and giving me something for the error went above and beyond what I'd thought would happen. Thank you, MEIJER! Very nice. read more

Meijer produce is excellent. Great to see a growing number of local brands. The only downside is Meijer doesn't stock some of the same brands as other stores, but we are willing to look past that because of the great customer service. I have also experienced better prices on meats at Meijer than at Sam's, so I am always checking the ads. read more

Had many altercations at this Meijer. I buy lunchables frequently, and I expect them to be cold!! I've came many occasions and they were warmer than room temp, just on the lunchable side. Told workers, went to customer service and called.. went back 4 times for other things, and happened to check the lunchables.. and guess what still HOT! I ended up calling board of health for inspection! Ridiculous!! On top of that there are spills with no wet floor signs.. went to shampoo isle and there was a bottle of shampoo all over the ground and I almost fell. I enjoy meijer - I love their mperks program (so much better than kroger's measly .10/gallon of gas). Aisles are big. I can buy all sorts of items here - food, beauty items and clothing! Prices are good. My only complaints are the deli (super slow - they need to get a self order kiosk) and that meijer never has enough lanes open. I am so fed up with Meijer on Harrison. I did a delivery order for an air mattress that was on sale for$34.99. When my shopper checked out I got free delivery, but was charged $70.06. So I refused the order and was supposed to get a refund. That was on the 18th. It is now the 22nd. I have contacted them daily only to be told today, that the refund was sent back to my card on the 20th. I called my card holder and there is no pending transaction of a $70.06 refund. I called Meijer only to be told there is nothing they can do. So if I don't get the refund back, I will let everyone know that Meijer is not the best place to spend their money. read more

A cross between a Walmart & a Target. The store is always clean. I have found some really good clothing deals. I got a sweatshirt for my son today for $5, originally $20! My husband once found a pair of Dickies jeans for $5. The clearances on the men & boys clothes have a tendency to be better than women's & girls. Mid season seems to be when they change things over for the next. That is when the best deals are. I signed up for the mPerks card and downloaded the app to my phone for added savings. One day we came in & my kids were greated by the mascot for the Bengals! Their movies do have a tendency to be overpriced. This store had a bit of everything. Was at this location on 6/22/17 around 9:15-9:30 pm with my spouse and son, this is the Meijer I typically shop at and prior to this have always had great customer service. Was in the back of the store in the sporting goods section and one of your male employees was back their stocking shelves. Son was bouncing one of the balls from the ball pit and Im not sure what happened next to illicit the response from the employee. Your employee yelled " It ruined his %&*^ing" night" and proceeded to punch shelves and what sounded like he was throwing merchandise ? Located right off the highway, this 24 hour mega-mart will help satisfy most if not all of your shopping needs and will probably save you a little coin and time in the process. The store is logically layed out and while there might not always be someone around to help, you can usually locate someone after a quick walk to the main front area. There are a few businesses located in the front area: a nail salon, Great Clips, Starbucks, US Bank, a portrait studio (Olan Mills?), and a Red Box DVD/Blu-Ray machine. Is it me, or do they carry slightly different merchandise at each Meijer location? I go in to the Meijer near our home in Fairfield fairly regularly, like once a month at least, and I swear this Meijer has different stuff. Specific example - men's shoes. I'm no clothes horse, but I like to take a look at the cheap dress shoes, see if I can pick up some decent loafers or something. This Meijer has much nicer shoes than my local store. Don't get me wrong - they're not "nice" but they're decent and what I'm looking for from a $30 pair of dress shoes. Attempted to do my first pickup order this weekend from Meijer. It was a very disappointing experience due to lack of employee training. When the young woman brought out my order she didn't have a receipt for my groceries and said she couldn't get one for me. I find Meijer my go-to place to shop. They have everything I need and lots of space. Workers are usually pretty friendly and the place is pretty clean. The produce here is a hit or miss..sometimes it's fresh and well stocked..other times not. They've recently acquired some updates so it looks even better inside. They also have a Starbucks,nail salon,and hair salon. They also have an area by the deli where you can even get ice cream. Children can ride the penny horse too after shopping so that's cute. read more

The place reminds me of a Wal-mart. It was my first time in there. The price's were good.

This is such a great place to get literally anything. The service is good and the employees seem nice enough. It's in a good location right off 74 and 275. There is also a Long Horn Steakhouse and McDonald's in the same plaza. Across the street there are also plenty more places to eat. It's also right next to a Kohl's. I like to say that Meijer is a high end Wal-Mart, with the prices being similar. The store inside seems pretty clean and has wide aisles so when it's busy you can still get around with a cart pretty easily. They offer their shoppers a chance to get some discounts with their m perks. Kinda like a Kroger Plus card. They have a full grocery store with a great beer and wine selection. In conclusion, I would shop Meijer over Wal-Mart any day of the week. read more

I shopped exclusively at Krogers before moving to this house, now this Meijers is closer , I went in and was amazed at the huge size, it's clean and friendly, the people working are always eager to help, I love Starbucks and there is a small Starbucks inside as well as in the grocery isle, I enjoy the at home Cafe Mocha , they didn't carry it but I asked a stock guy once about it and the very next week he recognized me and brought me directly to where they now ordered it in just for me! I just had the worst experience at Meijer's at 6550 Harrison Avenue 45247. My hubby and I went in to purchase a pool vacuum for the pool and the Lead cashier started an argument because we took a big plastic bag to put our merchandise in. As a result we returned the pool vacuum and left the plastic bag too. They lost a sale over $100 over a plastic bag After all the concerns I expressed today with the Store Manager at Meijer's there is still no resolution to this problem. I have even gotten an email from Customer Care attempting to apologize for the terrible behavior of their employees unfortunately this information is not trickling down to the employees and or the management at your stores particularly at 6550 Harrison Avenue Cincinnati Ohio 45247 I'm still getting excuses. Not too long ago, I wrote a review complimenting employees. I have been shopping here for a year & I enjoy it because of how the employees are on such a personal level & it reminds me of where I use to work. For 16 yrs., I worked at Biggs/Remke Mkt & this outgoing, friendly personality the employees provided, was not only great for customers but, it made for a great working environment. So when I needed a PT job, this is where I headed. My interview was pleasant & I was given an impression that I there was a place for me - but the call never came. And when I contacted the interviewing manager, I discovered that what I had been told & the follow through that was projected was totally opposite of what he did - I had been lied to. When faced with this, he apologized. The point is, when people apply for a job, 9 times out of 10 they need one. And even if not hired, they should be dealt with respectfully & honestly. Like I said, the employees here are great. However, management could take a some lessons from them - because these employees know how to treat people, no matter who they are. read more

My saga continues, must be a glutton for punishment! My mid day "quick" shopping trip ended with a trainee on the register. It was horrible. Her trainer was standing there and at times trying to assist two separate trainee's, but not really making progress. My girl was overly chatty and stopped ringing and was confused every time she started a new story (none of which were pertinent to the transacation). Don't get me wrong, a little polite chit chat (while ringing and doing your job) is what customer service is about, but this was uncomfortable and over the top. I ended up having 3 customers behind me, rolling their eyes and sighing, because they were so aggravated about the amount of time it was taking. She was so slow on top of everything, overwhelmed by my bring in grocery bags (I ended up bagging most everything, even with the trainer standing there, because it was chaos). The girl definitely did not have the ability to be a front end cashier on a regular line with any amount of training. Meijer's needs to figure it out. read more
