I bought an "Apple Watch" from here, when I opened the box it was just a wrist band no actual watch part. I went to the Meijer to return it and they accused me of replacing my purchased item with a different one, for the watch they gave me wasn't even Apple. I showed them my receipt and the first thing they did was accuse a once used to be loyal customer of fraud. sad what this world has become. read more

This location is a hot mess! The deli is out at times of meat and cheese..and the deli staff treats you like you're an inconvience . The store isn't the cleanest. All the Meijers in Western Michigan are staffed with friendly, neighborly, helpful workers, somehow that doesn't work in the Meijers outside of Michigan. All have an amazing and daunting selection of goods, when time allows, I like to stroll down every aisle. Even for a Meijer (originally Meijer's Thrifty Acres) this store has an incredible array of stuff. One thing that worries me is that like the last couple of times I've been in Meijer stores, this one seems a bit short on human cashiers. read more

This would be a good Meijers for everyone to avoid. Customer service at this store should be renamed customer abuse. Today I was told that items that are incorrectly shelved in front of a sale item price ticket are my mistake because I did not compare and verify the UPC code with the one on the sale ticket glued to the shelf. (You need a magnifying glass to read the sale ticket code) I was also informed that they have a new automated scanner that reorders items by shelf locations as designated on the price tickets. Wow,! That must be why some items never get replenished. The tickets are wrong or missing. I was told one item was a manufacturers problem and this moron called me out for telling a lie when I said all of the other 5 closest Meijers have lots of that item. I know because I have had to go to those stores for 5-6 items every week or so because this store NEVER has stock. The second best comment came from the original cashier who stated that the computers are never wrong. Just beware "that they just don't care any more at this store ..any more" and lots of people are getting overcharged, probably intentionally.. It's only going to be my fault if I ever go back to this store ever again. read more

This is where I do my weekly shopping every week. Meijer serves a wide variety of people, including my weird self. They have stuff for special diets, like gluten free, vegetarian, dairy free, humane meat products, even sugar free. The staff is trying their best to keep the shelves stocked during these difficult times, and they're doing a good job. read more

Only 4 stars the Meijer scale, because there are some much nicer locations, but it's Meijer, does it really get any better when it comes to big box stores? I love Meijer and everything it stands for in West Michigan. This store isn't the largest one and it's not the fanciest one, that one is in Cascade, but it does have what you need and there are a lot of other things right there close by the store. Decent parking, but the access road is a bit squirrelish for traffic and getting in an out safely. read more

Do not rely on your MPerks account if you need to return any items. They will not only return for less than you paid, but they will add additional "vendor discounts" that were never offered in the first place. This explains why the Meijer family are the wealthiest family in Michigan. They screw their customers over & then want to you to continue shopping there. I suggest shopping somewhere else. It's sad when the Walton family are more stand up than the Meijer family. They also started adding yellow "sale" tags to the shelves to trick you into believing items are on sale when they are the original marked non sale price. Talk about being scandalous. I guess they need to pay for all those renovations they made recently. I've been a lifelong meijer shopper & I will no longer do business with this retailer as there are much better options than supporting a pod family like the Meijer's. Terrible, thee last 3 weeks I have found items missing from my order, week one a box of broth right strips that are $17.00, last week a bottle of vitamins and this week a package of bacon. Pharmacy people are rude and they take forever. I will be transfering all of my scripts to Rite Aid and grocery shopping at Family Fare. read more

One of the cleanest locations I've been to. For some reason the doughnut shelves are always empty when I visit, which is a massive bummer. But they have perler beads, and a large gluten-free selection. The produce looks clean and fresh, and everything is easy to find. Like any Meijer, it's insanely busy all times of the day. read more

This is a pretty nice Meijer. I do our weekly shopping here. Lines can be pretty long but I've started self scanning which has helped.

Went to pick up a birthday cake that I requested a famous team member to decorate. When I got to the bakery counter, they could not find the order. I was a little disappointed and told them we needed a cake anyway, so have someone decorate it and we would shop and stop back. Wow, when we returned, Aron and Chuck took such great care of us that it turned a moderate disappointment into a strongly positive experience. They really "get" the customer service experience and went over the top to ensure that we were happy. To make things even better, the cake was yummy and awesome. Thank you Aron and Chuck. read more

Check out is always ridiculous. There's never enough lanes open and the lines are 5-6 carts deep. It's very difficult to deliver Shipt orders on time. read more

We have always been Meijer people, but this is the best Meijer we have shopped at by far. It's usually pretty clean, and most of the employees are friendly. The morning staff is the most helpful, and are always very good to our 2 year old son. read more

This is the best Meijer if you're looking for variety. Very clean and a huge wine and cheese selection. Also tons of micro beers. This location also has wider lanes than others. My only complaint is that it's too far away from my house. read more

We have got groceries from Meijer for many years. They have a great selection and good prices. Our kids love to see the goldfish, lobsters, and get a free cookie from the bakery. We also like the subway inside. read more

I had a terrible customer service experience here when I purchased 2 bicycles. I spoke with 3 different people just trying to figure out how to get two bikes up to the front (I was there alone) not one person offered to help me bring the bikes to the check out. I grabbed the tag and info packet and brought those up, and was sent back alone to get the bikes. When I brought one up to the cash register they acted annoyed and I still had to leave that one there, and walk to the back of the store to roll the other bicycle up front. I was so sad and frustrated when I left there. I've worked in customer service for years and have never felt like such a 'nuisance' as a customer. read more

This place is going through a renovation and they are doing it during the day, all day and every day! The noise is horrendous. The aisles are dirty and there are building materials everywhere in the aisles and throughout the store. Why not do the construction from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.? I never thought highly of Meijer in the past and this just solidified my hatred for this store. Lastly, there are NEVER enough check out lanes open. The cashiers are rude and slow when bagging your items. They need to bring back baggers. I will spend my money elsewhere. read more

This Meijer is always very clean and open. The lanes are large and bright. Like others, my only complaint is the wait. It is usually busy and they kind of force you to use the self check outs (which I hate!). Other than that, it's a great location. I love Meijer! read more
