Good service. Macys is a good place to go to do back to school shopping. Not expensive.

This is just an overall complaint on the store and their policies. Maurice's needs to come up to…read morethe times and allow credit cards over the phone for purchases with their credit card and they need to do store to store transfers for merchandise that is not in a store. In the last 2 months I have tried to purchase merchandise at my local store and they did not have the product or color but other stores did and would not do any of the above. Why would the store turn down purchases with the way the world is today? Crazy!! I love the store and merchandise but I don't think I will be shopping there anymore. Maurice's do better!

Some are great at noticing you and asking you what you're looking for. I recently started shopping their website more because they offer way better sales than in store but with that comes returns or exchanges. I don't know what is but they seem to be bothered by a return. The manager always responds with "well you should have purchased in store" which isn't a fair comment because I don't always have the time to try on and most of the time they don't have the items in stock! They have limited "short" jeans and pants so I always have to order online. They offer to order for me but isn't that the same thing? Overall I do feel they have great clothes but the service can definitely be spotty! As far as the store it is always kept up nice and neat! The prices are very reasonable for their items.

Ok so here's my review…read more If you have been following my reviews on Yelp, you know I love White House Black Market, and I travel quite frequently. You know that I've visited WHBM in many locations in the last month alone, including Chicago, Naples, Orlando, Las Vegas and just yesterday- Grandville, Michigan. I have spent thousands at WHBM, as I love their quality and comfort, as well as their style. I am very easy to get along with, easily approachable and very friendly. I have a hard time when a sales associate is hired to be that way as well, but is not. This was the case yesterday. I walked into the store and browsed for a good half an hour. Bobbi, the sales associate, made eye contact with me the moment I came in, but then walked away to fold clothes in a pile. I walked all around her a few times while she proceeded to tidy up the place, and not once did she greet me, or ask to help. I found quite a nice bundle of clothes to try on, and went into the changing room myself. A few moments later, another associate, Krista, asked to assist me, and was very friendly. The problem is, by then I was upset that Bobbi had no interest in assisting me while Krista was busy, that I decided to only purchase one top and earrings, and not the dress, jacket and skirt I was originally going to buy. I figure I'll just wait and buy it at another WHBM where they will appreciate my business. When I left, my daughter told me that she asked Bobbi a question about a silk top while I was in the dressing room, and Bobbi talked to her like she was an idiot and walked away from her also. My daughter is 18, and she is not a little child you can just shoo away. She was also going to purchase a silk top and skirt, but I told her I will buy it another time. My motto is to treat people exactly how you want to be treated, and don't ever dismiss someone. Kindness wins in the end. If only all of us believed that.
