We really loved our experience working with Splendid & Swanky. They first staged our previous home…read morefor sale and did a lovely job integrating our existing furniture with fresh new options that really helped seal the deal. Once we moved into our new townhome, we needed help rethinking our previous style with the shape and dynamics of our new place. Newsha and Nahal were terrific, providing clever approaches to integrating our old furniture with new pieces and lighting that really showed the new place off at its best. What we appreciated most was their communication and collaborative spirit. We've worked with designers before who had no idea of what good customer service looks like, and we were delighted to have such an engaging and creative collaboration with these designers. They did push us a bit out of our comfort zone with some choices, but THEY WERE RIGHT. Some furniture we weren't sure about turned out to be the biggest hits in our new decor, drawing tons of compliments from our friends when they came for our housewarming. We'd work with Splendid & Swanky again in a heartbeat!

I know this company does a ton of work via recommendations but I figured I'd write a review. Even…read moreScale did over 20k worth of work on my house, which is by far the most I've ever spent-- my wife and I not being huge earners--but I got a *TON* done for a very good price at the highest quality. Here's what we had done: Problem- A poorly built pergola structure was dumping rain water under a poorly built gutter, which was leaking into the kitchen drywall and causing the ceiling to near collapse over time. Solution- EvenScale emergency-fixed and painted the kitchen drywall over the weekend, installed new gutters to eliminate first part of the problem. Problem- Roof was 5 years overdue for new shingles and pergola resting on shingles was making this problem worse. Solution- EvenScale came back later once we had chosen special architectural shingles to give the house a rustic cottage look and reroofed the house. They raised the pergola on two supports that fit nicely on top of our patio. At this point, we figured we might as well finish the front path and portico/awning that was falling apart as well. Problem- no landscaper wanted to try and match our front path to the scattered, rustic stone look of our house. We kept getting expensive quotes for uniform gray paver paths. We waned a stepping stone path and a grouted multicolored stone path that arched in front of house. Solution- Roberto and EvenScale worked with us in a large project to do exactly what we wanted, including hand-cutting the stones, hand-selecting the colors, and placing the stones prior to grouting in a pattern the day before so that we had input into the final result. Problem- the awning was old and looked very DYI but wasn't totally rotten, and we didn't want to overspend on a new construction. Solution- EvenScale redesigned the awning over our existing awning, cutting out some of the supports, fitting it with the new gutter, and using painted PVC to give it a taller and more elegant look. Overall, this was a top-notch experience for us as homeowners. We had input into every aspect of the project and got to know to workmen on a personal level as they communicated their plans alongside the foreman and owner. We ended up with the exact look we wanted at about 60 percent of the price we were quoted elsewhere, and these other quotes were "take-it-or-leave-it" quotes that didn't quite make us feel like it was what we wanted. With EvenScale, we got exactly what we dreamed and so for folks who are careful with their money and their home, it was simply put, a dream come true. I urge you not to hesitate if you are interested in getting the highest quality with a very personal touch.

Juan, the project manager, came out and drew up the design on the spot, working from a photo I'd found for inspiration. He incorporated all the measurements, and gave me a very fair quote a few days later. Rene and his father did the work with great care and precision, and were meticulous about cleaning up at the end of every day. I couldn't love the results more, and I am looking forward to working with them on a future bathroom renovation. Highly recommend!

Colleen and the Redbird team quickly helped us create a new floor plan to maximize space in our primary bathroom, plus pull and replace designs for two more bathrooms. They got to know our personal style, created design concepts that we loved, connected us with a contractor, and helped us navigate supply chain issues. The result: bathrooms that are beautiful, functional, easy to clean, and within budget.

She has a great eye for design and color and is easy to talk to and personable-- this was especially important to me since I wanted to work with someone that I can "click" with. There are tons of design options out there and I can easily spend multiple days just trying to pick out a single piece of furniture, let alone trying to make it look good and work with an entire room, so Colleen's services are invaluable. I just let her and her team do the hard work of putting together color palettes, layouts and mood boards and I tweak little details to my liking if I want. My entire house now looks instagrammable (can't help but notice how good rooms look in the background when I take pictures of the kids around the house) and I'm enjoying its looks as well as function every single day thanks to Colleen and RedBird!

The team at Hudson & Crane has given us a GORGEOUS space built around our vision but more wonderful than our wildest dreams. The process began by sharing our design aesthetic ideas, color preferences and goals for our home. The team got to know us personally and helped us articulate the "feel" we were aiming for. They presented a sample design with choices for each item in the look. We were ecstatic with the design, the pieces and how fabulously the team understood our vision! The furniture pieces, wallpapers and lighting choices were beautiful and unique. We knew early on, based on H&C's selections that we were going to be thrilled with the end result. The team has been responsive throughout the process as we made our decisions and awaited pieces. They work with a warehouse that receives, inspects and stores items to be delivered in batches. We've really loved that the pieces are inspected and the team handles any issues seamlessly for us. We are extremely happy with our completed space! We love living in it, and everyone who visits our home raves about the look. We're very happy that we put our trust in the Hudson & Crane team, they definitely delivered.
