A star does not even justify this place. I was a regular customer for years until now. Their "qualty goods " and service has gone downhill. They have no sense of customer service. I Went in to shop and later ended up setting stuff aside that I didn't want, I tried to clarify with the staff but instead what they ended up doing is recording against my permission and even followed and harassed me to my car and kept recording me and my license plate after I told them not to. For your safety and experience do not come here.

It's a bigger store in an older building, so the inside doesn't look very inviting, but they try to keep it organized. The last few times I went, there was always someone offering you a shopping cart and they were friendly. The most annoying thing is the red wax marker they use to price their items. Not only is the number often not legible, it is near impossible to get off of many products.

Since we moved away, this was our first time back in a while. It turned out to be a rather spectacular experience for my kid who found several items on their wishlist, all at surprisingly good prices. I found several goodies for myself, too. We both don't like to see wax marker prices scribbled onto actual items when it ruins the item, and they do not offer discounts on those damaged items. They can never do anything (like price an item) without some elusive manager present, which is another drawback as they seem to never be there. I think it's just an excuse they make but Idky. They say they don't take Discover but my kid used their Discover debit card last night without a hitch, so there's another mystery. None of these things take away from our overall opinion which is: this thrift store is goofy and we like it.

I don't know where these reviews are coming from but I didn't have the same experience. To begin as soon as I walked in, a lady next to the door offered me a cart. I declined, but I appreciate the thought. I then began to stroll around the store and was surprised with the organization! The mens t-shirts that I looked at were organized by color or I'm tweaking. I looked at the prices and found two shirts I liked since I'm not a very seasoned thrifter and generally very picky about my clothes. Each shirt was .99 cents! Excuse me but I've never seen those kinds of prices before. One shirt has a minor hole but it's not visible so I don't care, and the other shirt is in pretty mint condition. The total was like 2.10? I would certainly recommend this place for people, they have such a wide variety of items I saw books, electronics, some school supplies, shoes, dresses, jeans.

Who ever is in charge of writing down the price on the tags need to practice on their penmanship The price tag is not legible even for their own cashier to read , some of the other customers and I questioned each other in the aisles. . This store has some high end brand names and a few knock offs .

Do you still have the boutique section. I use to be a regular and always bought AUTHENTIC designer purses from away back to Pomona . I bought a beautiful GUCCI purse there and I would look for small name brand bags- employees were very friendly?

I went to Deseret Industries for clothes to wear while gardening. I found some great items like a men's long sleeve linen shirt and a pair of women's scrubs with pockets inside pockets. So many pockets (where I can put so many gardening tools). Because I was there I walked the whole store and left with a knick knack or two. The clothes all seemed to be marked at $6 each regardless. This was fine for what I got. The 2 men's shirts and 2 women's pants with pockets were in great condition and would have retailed for way more than $6. But I think part of the fun of thrifting is finding items at great prices. A men's linen shirt for $6 is great a regular tshirt for $6 is not great. It's a really big store with a big collections of items ranging from things looking near new to things looking like they came out of grandma's garage. I'll probably be back but won't be a regular.

You can tell their staff takes pride in maintaining the stores's organization and cleanliness. This store feels huge once inside. I always head for the book section to look for books on travel or world atlas' once inside. I typically will find 1-2 books. Once I find the books, I debate on if I plan to purchase because their pricing is high. Compared to libraries where books can range from .50 cents to $1. At most for a used a book, I've paid $4 when I've gotten the same book for $1 at local library. It's always worth a stop to check out, but be prepared you may find items are sold here for a premium price. Plenty of parking. Store hours are funky.

Before checking out, I overheard the same cashier explaining to another older customer that the people working there volunteer their time and aren't paid. That honestly made me appreciate the organization even more because I believe volunteering from the kindness of your heart is something worth supporting. Unfortunately, that appreciation disappeared the moment we reached the register. The same cashier was checking out my sister and me, and I'm not sure if the way we were treated had anything to do with us being two younger brown adults, but the interaction was incredibly uncomfortable and humiliating. My sister tried to explain the price of the hangers she was purchasing. Rather than simply listening to her, the cashier questioned her and refused to believe what she was saying, even after my sister showed her a physical picture she had taken showing the price. To be clear, this review is not about the price. We completely understand that employees need to verify prices. What was upsetting was the unnecessary attitude and the way my sister was made to feel as though she was being dishonest. Then, completely unnecessarily, the cashier commented that the hangers were too "small" for our clothes. What exactly was she implying by that? Was she making a comment about our bodies or our size? Regardless of what she meant, it was an extremely inappropriate thing to say to a customer. My sister politely explained that she was purchasing the hangers to hang her pants. Instead of simply moving on, the cashier responded with "ew, that's disgusting." Who says something like that to a customer? There was absolutely no reason for that comment. It was rude, disrespectful, embarrassing, and completely inappropriate. A customer should never have to stand at a register and be spoken to in a way that makes them feel humiliated for something as simple as purchasing clothing hangers. What makes this even more upsetting is that I had been excited to support this organization because I respect what thrift stores and volunteer-based organizations represent. Unfortunately, one employee's behavior completely ruined that experience for me. I left feeling angry, disappointed, and, most importantly, humiliated on behalf of my sister. Watching someone speak to her that way while she remained polite was incredibly upsetting. I genuinely wish I had recorded the interaction because it was one of those situations where you leave thinking, Did that really just happen? I will never be returning to this location. I hope management takes complaints like this seriously and understands that volunteering or working for an organization does not give anyone the right to belittle, embarrass, or disrespect customers. People come into these stores to shop, donate, and support the organization. The absolute least they deserve is basic kindness and respect. One star is honestly generous. If zero stars were an option, that is what I would give
