Do yourself a favor if you're going to donate do not donate here. They are the worst greediest people ever. One they never offer to write me a ticket for my taxes. I've tried to donate to them several times when you asked for pick up they never show up. And they won't even help you with your stuff when you get there. Not only that but they sell everything you donate at extremely high prices.. read more

I would say way over priced I buy and sell stuff all the time and looking at the reviews the owner chimes in and says the same shit oh sorry you had a bad experience come back and when we are having a sale, guess what your prices are still to high during your sell your employees are a piece of work also read more

This place looked well organized. I was turned off by the pricing. Seemed way too high. I looked at a handmade crocheted blanket that was $25! I've seen crochet blankets go for under $10 at Goodwill and Savers. I also saw a dress that was around $20 that had a rip in it. These are not used item thrift store prices. After seeing those prices I left so I'm not sure if it happened to be a fluke that I only looked at high priced items or if these are their typical prices. read more

This place is everything I wish I could find in L.A. Most thrift stores are very unorganized and for the price, I really can't expect much. Was very very delighted when my b.f. told me about the sister store that we visited. This is how we found out about this location. So many goodies were surprisingly found. When we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised to find most of the clothes were organized by size. Big big plus! Scanned around and found a few items to try on. Among them some blouses and shorts. Fitting area is nicely sized with a mirror inside which was great for us! There was no one watching over you while you tried on the clothes which made the experience that much more comfortable. I've been reading some reviews of this store and its sister store. I guess this is what you have to keep in mind when you shop in thrift stores. Items are usually donated which means they have either been: new, gently used or worn the hell out. You have to make a judgement call on the item you want to purchase and take the price into consideration. Now, we also have to think that these locations have rent, utilities, employees to pay. So no, the prices are not dirt cheap, but they sure as hell are better than going to Ross, Marshall or any department store. If you take your time to really look through the items, you may be lucky and find things that are suited to your needs and likes. Prices seem to be on par with other thrift stores I've gone to. They are much more reasonable than Goodwill in my opinion. It was also much more appealing to shop here since they have discount ticket items of the day. Score for us! Will we come again? Yes! This place deserves 5 stars but gotta take 1 star away for the store being so damn HOT! They had fans going but honestly it was just too hot. I'm not sure how the employees are able to work in such environment. We wanted to stick around and look some more but I personally was sweating like there was no tomorrow. My b.f. even had to step outside to get some air. Gotta say, this place is super dog friendly which will always make this a great location in my opinion. We do take our dogs in a doggy stroller because leaving them in a hot car is no option to us. We either all shop together or we don't shop at all. This is a personal choice to us and in no way makes us upset if they aren't dog friendly. The fact that all staff were super friendly to them and accommodating makes us want to come back again. We are already planning our next visit. Already left a review for the sister store too! Ahhhh yes, before I forget. We only shopped for clothing items. Walked away with 1 mens shirt, 5 women's blouses, 2 women's shorts all for about $29. Considering I would never pay $29 for all these items at a regular store, I think we scored. read more

Just went to get a couple crappy broken nerf guns to paint for cosplay... Found 2 that were pretty thrashed and they wouldn't sell me one of them because it didn't have a handwritten price. I honestly love this thrift store. I don't think the prices are high at all and they're always having good deals. I've been to other thrift stores and honestly the prices are ridiculous. I've found stuff with tags still on them orignally for $30 and got it for $3. As a broke college student who loves fashion I actually would like to thank this place. I get treated with kindess and respect every time I go and always leave with a big bag full of clothes for less than $20. read more

The weekly sales are good. Staff could be better but I understand it's a thrift shop not a Gucci store. If you're patient enough you can find some cool stuff. read more

It was a really good place and found so many good finds! The only thing that I didn't like was the employees. They were very rude! I was just my business and finding good clothes and then I heard this man in Spanish saying that I kept on "touching" things and that I didn't put it back where it belonged. First of all, I had gloves on. Second of all, I put the stuff back and I was not touching I was being careful. All of the employees were talking bad things and when I went to check out they were talking about how I was ''touching" thing. They need to get their attitude straight!!!! read more

If i could give 0 stars, i would. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! Cashier was so rude. They say blue tag was 50% off but when we took a BLUE TAG ITEM it was only 10% (false advertising). Never going back again. read more

I have been coming to this store for a few years now, usually in the afternoon. Today, since I didn't work I decided to go and see what they had. I do have to say their stuff is awesome and their staff (IN THE EVENING ) is nice and super helpful. Especially a gentleman with glasses... but today was a whole other story!!!!!!! We we looking at the Christmas ornaments, one was dropped by accident and a man came over ( with a high and mighty attitude) to pick up something that was already on the floor. He didn't have the courtesy to say excuse me or anything. He picked up the item, didn't say a word, and walked away. A few seconds later a lady comes and says " if you break it you have to pay for it" I said I would be more than happy to pay for anything that we had broken, however, the bundle that had been dropped contained a very thick glass star that made a loud thud but did not break. I have no issue whatsoever paying for anything I or my daughter damaged; but first and foremost address the issue with courtesy don't assume you know what happened. Then, find out if anything was really broken. When I got to the cashiers ( whom was super sweet ) I told her that according to the lady we had broken something, to please let me know how much it was, what had been broken and how much was it. The lady said oh she didn't say anything so don't worry. I thanked her. Remember, that although your store is a thrift shop people still need to be treated with courtesy. Don't ever forget that the dollars the customers spend there helps to pay your salary. read more

Should be no stars. Very disappointed. Was thrift store shopping. Got there during "business hours" and there was a sign on the door that said they would be back at 3:30pm, which was 2 hours from the time I was there. read more

I went here and had lots of fun looking around. A little bit on the expensive but today the one of the woman's there was pretty mean and acted really salty. Like I'm just having fun- no need to take out your personal issues on me. Anyways. Not great. read more

People at the door are always friendly and greet you when you come in. One girl in particular don't know her name but is skinny and light brown hair is always rude and walking around with a really bad face. looks like she doesn't want to be there. One time she was fixing shirts on the hangers and walked away.. bumping into me, she never said sorry or anything and kept walking. Came in today with my mother & she was on the cashier .. giving us the receipt she didn't say a word. not a thank you or have a nice day .. read more

They had a decent amount of cute baby clothes, I picked out quite a few items for my little one. However, what I really came here for was vintage clothing and sadly this store had none to offer. Also I have to say this because I literally left the store with sweat dripping down my back: PLEASE FIX YOUR AIR CONDITIONER. read more

RUDE and HORRIBLE to customers! After about an hour browsing the store, I was ready to check out. The cashier was instantly very rude to me l. I just figured maybe she was having an off day. So I just continued talking to her very kindly. She informed me that the price tag on the shirt was not the correct tag. As she is explaining this to me, she throws the t-shirt to the back out of my sight. I had told her very kindly that I would still like to purchase it when another exceptionally rude associate said that it would be available in 2-3 business days. EDIT: After going back to see if this was a common occurrence, (reading the other yelp reviews, It's sad to see that I was not the only one) I am happy to say that it really depends on who is the cashier at the time. This time, it was very much just a nice, normal experience. read more

The place has a lot of rad stuff! I get my T-shirts here and I always get asked where I buy my clothes. I go on the student day on Wednesdays. The store is to be closed at 9:00 PM and Maria was pushing people out on the announcement around 7:40. Also, I went back to the store because the receipt was not clear and I wanted to make sure that she did not charge me more because that happened before because she is always o the phone texting under the register. One time she did not remove the sensor and she was very rude when I went back to remove it. Today she was throwing the stuff on the desk, and she gave me attitude when I asked her to check the items I was charged for. SUPER RUDE PEOPLE works there read more

Overpriced everything. Furniture is as expensive as brand new furniture from Ikea, same with clothes, $12 for a dress that wasn't even name brand?? $90 for a bike and it's tires did not have any thread all, completely flat! drove 25 minutes away for store labeled "MEGA THRIFT STORE" assuming it would be a super big thrift shop with tons of clothes. i arrive there and check out about half the store and everything was extremely overpriced for being coined a "thrift store" and they were even asking 400 dollars for a single tee shirt. everything in store is the same price as retail designer store it's not even worth looking at cool items just to be hit with a huge price l at the end. found some super beat up Jordan 1's that had a nonpopular color way and they were asking 70 for them. i asked if I could work on prices and they said come back another day to speak to a manager. Terrible place and matter of fact so terrible I even had to leave a nasty review and I'm not one to throw people under the bus but seriously this store was so stupid they might as well burn all their clothes because nobody is going to spend that money on used and worn clothes. read more

I used to go to this thrift store when it was Uptown Thrift in Pomona. My step-son and I made a trip down the hill today to check it out in its new location. I was very impressed. They still have great prices and discounts for teachers and students. I walked into the store looking for a few dresses, I walked out with two dresses, a pair of sandals, a cute little penguin backpack, a combination of 8 shirts/tops/sweaters (2 for $1), two tees for my husband, and 2 summer night gowns. All of this for just under $22. Without my discount it would have been about $26. The minimum in the dressing room is 5, which is what it was it was when located in Pomona. One of the improvements in the store is that increase in space gives more room for customers to move around and more things. -- Denise read more

Let's just say, I wanted to wait a few hours before I left a review.. Out of an honest and kind individual that loves to thrift and visits thrift stores all over the I.E and L.A. County. I asked my daughter to go thrifting with me today.. By the way she does not like to thrift at all! So, as we are looking around this young lady decides to follow our every move.. which ok I can understand I'm sure there's a lot of thieves around that area.. But, decides to stare at my daughters every move. So, as went to pay for our butterfly wings , which were broken :/ I look up to see her still following us and in our basket. I kindly asked her " Is there something wrong?" She said NO! I'm just doing my job. I said "If you think we're stealing..we're not. After I felt bad.. because when It all comes down to it, It's the owners of this place fault!! You owners need to understand that you guys are running a thrift store. Not a Macy's department store. Maybe it would be better for u guys just to sell on eBay. These prices are pretty intense .. I can find some of what you guys call name brands for half the price. Well, my hope is my daughter would still wanna go thrifting with her mama :) Please treat your employees like how u expect to be treated.. And that treatment will flow to your customers. There's hope! read more

I went to Mega Thrift store after searching for thrift stores in the area using Yelp. I have to say that I am amazed of how well organized and clean it was inside. This thrift store took over the space of what used to be an indoor swapmeet. The shelved merchandise are not thrown anywhere on the shelves like other thrift stores. They are gathered based on glasswares, dishes, etc. The books and stuffed animals were stocked nicely. The small bags of little toys were a little pricey. Everything had a place and it is not often you see that. What I especially liked was the fact that they had the clothing on racks based on sizes and not by colors which is a HUGE plus!! I don't particularly like finding a shirt that I really like and then finding out that it is not in my right size. The shirts/jackets/raincoats/vests/etc all had their own special rack and it was labeled. They even had racks dedicated for valences/drapes/blankets/sleeping bags, etc. The prices of the clothing varies but they weren't expensive. Most of the shirts were actually cheaper than at Goodwill. Some of the shirts even have more of a discount on them. So more savings!! Whoohoo!! Con: The only thing I would change about this place is having a mirror in the dressing rooms. It is a pain to have to change and then walk out of the dressing room to look at the mirror out where everyone else is shopping and can see what you are trying on. I hope this store plans to make a slight change. Overall, I like this place. They don't put out crappy stuff. It seems like they inspect what they have before putting it out there to sell which is a plus. Everything is organized and I plan to visit this place. Good selection of clothes/books/etc. By the way, books were buy one, get one free of the same value. Give this place a try! read more
