HOLY MOLY!!!! after leaving the beach hung the eff over i decided i needed to eat something .... thinking the slice was regular size (I'm from California). i placed my order, luckily they had an ATM machine inside the store because they only accept cards over $20 orders. when my order number was called, i was confused because the box looked like a medium pizza. Great when you are hungry late at night esp after you've been drinking! The slices are HUGE. The NY style pizza are my fave. The buffalo chicken pizza was good also (that one wasn't NY style.. it was cut into rectangles) An order of fries was HUGE it was a BOX of fries haha. read more

I had the veggie lover's and was good. The food helpings are large with inexpensive prices. My only disappointment is that a bottle of water was $2 and soda was $3. I thought that was steep. This place definitely lives up to its name. The gigantic pizzas caught our eye on Friday night but we decided to be touristy instead and ate on Ocean Drive. But on Saturday after a night of drinking, we stumbled back over to Mega Pizza at 3am and ogled all the pizzas on display. We ordered two slices of barbeque chicken pizza and it filled the entire pizza box. We only made it through one slice that night and had to leave the rest for the next day. I thought the crust was just right and not too thick. Also I liked that they cut the slice into even smaller pieces, making it easier to eat, especially when my coordination wasn't so great at the moment. Mega Pizza isn't going to win any awards (except maybe for largest pie), but it's good solid pizza and I would return next time I'm back in South Beach. read more

Ehh this pizza isn't very good at all. Best used only a source to absorb excessive liquor as the slices are large. Price is relatively reasonable for the area and the location is right in the middle of the club area in South Beach. If you like bread, this is the pizza for you. We prefer pizza which usually has sauce and cheese on it. NY style should have a thin crust. This was the consistency of ciabatta bread with a thin layer of plum tomatoes and then cheese. Upon entering, there was no greeting and the place looked rundown. The only thing great about the pizza is the size, but why have a ginormous pizza if there's no flavor? My cheese pizza was dry and had zero flavor, the sauce tasted like cardboard. Also the oven they cook it in looked like it hasn't been cleaned or replaced in years.
