I really enjoy shopping at this grocery store especially when it comes to buying Korean bbq items as well as hot pot items. They offer a huge selection of meats that are frozen/non-frozen as well as already marinated/non-marinated which is really convenient. The produce, vegetables, fruits all look fresh and are packaged nicely. The store aisles are clean and spacious, and I've never had a problem with customer service. I love Mega Mart! I come here pretty regularly and more recently have started eating lunch and dinner here since they have a seating area where you can eat your food after purchasing it. Most recently, we came here for early lunch. I ordered a Chirashi bowl ($11.99) and my friend ordered a Lion King Roll ($9.99) but the Lion King Roll was 30% off! Both were actually really good. I was impressed by the quality and price! Such a great deal. In the seating area, they had cups for water, chopsticks, napkins, etc. so it was very convenient. It was a nice and relaxing environment and I really enjoyed the experience. I also explored the bakery and was amazed at how beautiful the desserts looked! Really cute minion, panda, and Cookie Monster cream puffs, and gorgeous looking cakes with fruit. I'll definitely have to come back to try these. IMHO This is my friend's favorite Asian market. I figured it was probably similar to Ranch 99 or the HK markets. As I was walking around, I took in the brightly lit, clean and organized store! It was very inviting and made me want to linger. I was most impressed with their deli-like food section where you can buy pre-made packaged take-out food! There is a huge variety of offerings, but I immediately went for the fried chicken, which just so happened to be marked down 30%! They've got a ton of other stuff, some of which I'd heard of but many that I had not. They all looked yummy! Their dessert offerings were just as inviting as well. *****Customer Experience During the COVID-19 Pandemic***** I was chatting with my friend Darren M. one evening and somehow Korean market became a topic of our conversation. He told me I should go check out The K Market in Sunnyvale because it is "big and worth visiting". It just so happened that I needed to restock a few Korean items for my pantry so I stopped by here on 02/19/2021. Heeding to Darren's advice, I got here early. The exterior of the building had a nice modern look and parking was ample. Disinfectant wipes and a bottle of hand sanitizer were available at the entrance for customer use. I was immediately impressed upon entering. It was quite spacious (tight aisles though), clean, and brightly lit. Everything was well organized. The produce section was well stocked with good quality fruits and vegetables. As I cruised through the meat and seafood section, staff members were busy putting out fresh inventory. The kimchi and banchan section featured a wide array of selections and the bakery was full of freshly baked goods. Even though I didn't buy any, it was just fun to admire all the goodies. I didn't see a whole lot of stuff at the deli section (probably because it was early in the morning). I got a couple small trays of kimbap (one with beef and another with fish cake). While the pricing was reasonable, they were poorly rolled and bland in taste. I've had better elsewhere. The best deal I found was the Shin Ramyun. A box of 16 packs cost only $12.99, much less than the "pandemic pricing" of $26 I paid at my local 99 Ranch Market! The cashier who helped me was very friendly and polite. Overall, I really liked this market. From the environment to the selection to the service, they have brought the fun back to grocery shopping for me. Tonight, 6:52pm, about 10 parties waiting at the hot food area. Being that it was my first time, I was shy about grabbing hot foods go on sale. So an employee came out w 50% stickers and a line soon formed where customers got the stickers on the foods that were already collected in their cart. It worked for the fried rice, fried chicken, sushi rolls and assorted platter, and kimbab. I felt a little awkward getting the discount when I can easily afford the food, but it was a nice "thrill". Probably won't do it again. It does not apply to bakery goods or ban chan. I love this market for being clean, bright, and now more so for the heavily discounted hot foods. I've had their lion king roll before and it was good! I don't want to pay restaurant price, so this is good enough when I crave sushi rolls. read more

I'm pretty familiar with the various Asian markets in our area: Lion, 99 Ranch, Marukai, H Mart, etc etc. I find this one of the best for quality, prices and selection. I'm J-American and see a lot of overlap, and since I love Korean food, this is the place I drive 15 miles to get amazing produce. I am addicted to Shin ramen and their prices are amazing. I have found some other incredible bargains, namely their sushi-grade salmon. This is a must-buy for me. I always stock up on oyster mushrooms, shiitake, cilantro, and check out the various root veggie offerings. Daikon and napa cabbage are the best here. I have not found the ready-made food such a great buy. I once bought some ready-made sushi and was disappointed. Overall a great Asian market well worth a special trip. read more

This was my first time shopping at The K Market and I was impressed by how clean and organized it was! It's also a plus that it wasn't busy and crowded here compared to other grocery stores in the area. They offer a good selection of fresh produce and food items, but it does appear that some items are on the more expensive end compared to other Korean grocery stores. The K Market also has a great selection of hot foods ranging from Korean pancakes, rice bowls, fried chicken and squid, along with other premade food items like kimbap and sushi rolls. I'm so glad I came across The K Market, I absolutely love it!! The store itself is extremely clean, bright, welcoming and well organized. Walking through that door you just know you will be walking out with tons of goodies. They have a great produce section, lots of fresh veggies and even veggies I've never seen before. Their meat selection is absolutely impeccable, everything is well packaged and the meats, poultry and seafood look really fresh. My favorite part of the store would be the hot prepared food section. They have so many yummy options that you'll want to get everything. They have various rice bowls, a selection of packaged fresh Korean fried chicken, Korean corn dogs, potstickers, short rib plates. On the other side they also have a large selection of kimchi and kimchi based veggies. I have tried their Bulgogi Beef Rice Bowl and Short Rib Rice Bowl and they were both delicious. They are full of flavor, have some veggies and a side of sauce included. I also tried the Soy Sauce Fried Chicken and I was a bit disappointed because it wasn't super crispy and didn't have the flavor I was looking for but they do have other flavors so I definitely will try those out. The bakery section is also good they have various cakes, cheesecakes and mini desserts. I had this unique Strawberry Cheesecake Dome and it was pretty good. Overall I love this store and the food, the service here is wonderful and I'm glad I found this place. The store was extremely clean, they had everything I wanted in stock, they have a food court and deli, social distancing is enforced during COVID, AND the staff was friendly. From Korean Fried Chicken to Cream Puffs to Kimbap to Korean Corndogs to Fresh Soup Stock... the amount of fresh prepared food was insane! This is my Disneyland! Between all the Korean markets I've been to in the Bay Area/South Bay, I think this is by-far my favorite. One HOT recco is to buy their cakes... my fav fav is the mango cake ($27) - fresh mango's inside, light, airy, fresh, and not over the top sweet -- just perfection. For you Hello Kitty fans out there, this is an HK alert! They have sell cute products here and you'll need to be prepared to spend your hard earned money when you get here :) I ended up taking home a water thermos and wet towel container at a premium price! It's not crowded, you don't have to wait in a massive line to get in (ie H-Mart), and the prices seem to beat other places I've been to. It is FUN TOWN! There's plenty of parking. I came at the right time, right at 7 PM when I was checking out the hot deli, as all the items were being marked 30-50% off. I visit Mega Mart pretty often and have always had a wonderful experience! It's been a great place to buy groceries like meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, and dessert. I also come here to try their lunch and dinner meals. At the register, they always ask if I need chopsticks. I appreciate the great service. Today for lunch I got one of their sushi plates + lion king roll, and both were excellent! I've ordered the lion king roll before and it's definitely a favorite of mine, so I make sure to order that one every time. When it comes to a simple selection, great name brands, & feeling of home cooked hot food, K Market is where it's at! -Simple & Clean Both K Market & Hankook are amazing places, & where K Market really excels at is keeping things simple & having some awesome Kimbap among other goodies for sale! -Selection Like with most Korean markets, I always recommend getting meat at more affordable places, but the vegetable selection here was amazing, especially when it came to mushrooms. (Enoki, Shiitake, Baby Bella, Oyster, Wood Ear) Everything was really neatly stacked was really fresh. Although their selection was smaller than Hankook, they still have most of the major brands, CJ, Ottogi, Pulmuone, Nongshim, HAITAI, etc. Everything was really easy to find, for instance if you were getting Hotpot, a lot of the sauces, meats, soup bases & other ingredients were in the same area. -Hot Foods The Kimbap here is also pretty great! Super big portions for $6-7 unlike most places that overcharge for a couple pieces. My recommendation is the regular Kimbap, but the beef is pretty amazing too! They also have sushi, bakeries, friend chicken, & other amazing selections of items that are ready to eat as well! -Overall Verdict Plenty of parking, friendly staff, fresh produce, great products, & always an amazing experience! read more

I had been putting off coming to K Market, and finally I found myself with some spare time one Friday late afternoon to make the trek a little bit past my usual Korean market. I found myself here a second time within the month (which is rare as I have been frequenting even my most favorite markets once a month at most). First trip there I was pleased with how clean and empty/spacious it felt. I went apes at the deli/ready made food section as the items seemed to go for miles and miles. I was also very much encouraged by the 30% off happy hour (I think?) prices. I did not love the rice in the sushi or kimbap but the other ingredients tasted fresh, so I may opt for just sashimi platter next time. The rice cake at $5.99 is already a pretty good deal but with the 30% off was even better. I grabbed just one container of meat and appreciated the portion size as it is really just two meat eaters at my house. My second time there we actually needed produce so I grabbed a variety of bagged Asian veggies that made it through a week's worth of cooking still somewhat fresh. I also did nab a box of ready washed red leaf lettuce. Sadly, the next day when I went to set it up to wrap my pork belly and rib fingers I found half of the leaves had gone mushy. -1 star for that. I also noticed that there was nothing with discounted prices on my second trip there right after lunch. Will have to make another trip to confirm if those 30% off deals are only during happy hour. With Sunright nearby, I think I will be able to maximize one trip in that way now! read more

My partner and I were on our way to Hankook Market, until we noticed a market off to the side called the K Market. Intrigued by the name and for its resemblance in name to H Mart, we decided to make a quick detour into the K Market! Lined up nicely, neatly, and spaciously, we were surprised as how much stuff the K Market carried! Looks can be deceiving, as we were thinking that this market might be a tiny quick, stop 'n go kind of market. Our visit ended up being around 30 minutes to an hour and we picked up a few selections of meat and seafood for our hotpot dinner. While everything was clean and nicely presented, we did notice that the prices for their meats and seafood were a tad more expensive than the other Korean markets we would venture. What makes this place unique and awesome is how they've got a cute little cafe/marketplace of baked, ready-to-go meals for anyone who doesn't have time or wants to purchase a prepare meal for work or school. Most of the good items were taken, but a saw a wide variety of buns, noodles, soup, hand rolls, and Korean fried chicken The best thing about this market that no other Korean market has are the infamous spicy chicken noodles, which my sister had been searching for everywhere. She recently resigned her search and placed an online international order through the brand itself and paid for about $100 worth of ramen to get free shipping. LOVE K Market!! It's not as busy and so you don't feel like you're crowded. Their selections are impressive and I feel like everything there is clean and fresh! They have a area where they have prepared sushi which is reasonably priced as well as a hot foods area where you can pick all kinds of bowls and soups. In addition they have a TON of bon chons to pick from! Their freshly made kim chee is the BEST!! They also have a bakery - looks delicious but the breads were just so so...I prefer their hot foods the best - especially their spicy chicken wings!! THE K MARKET over H-Mart any day of the week, and twice on Sundays! even though I live down the street from H-Mart Make sure to stop here so you can satisfy all cravings that are Korean. Big, Clean, Spacious, Bright...nothing to complain about. I absolutely love the hot / fresh food section. Sooo much variety, not to mention great value as well. As of this review the hot food is still 30% off...shhhh!!! I thought it was only a grand opening special, but looks like K MARKET extended the promotion? I found my hangover (sukhee haesoo) drink in this place and all the flavors I could get my hands to amd paired well with tehe diffrent flavor sojus they have. They also carry those broth tablets in different flavors to liven up your soups. They carry household goods, frozen foods, and anything you could think of. If snacks is your weakness they also have ready to heat hot foods, ramyeons, and different flavored chips. There are people who works here in almost every aisle ready to help out of you have any questions. This place is huge so eventhough they're busy yoi don't feel cramped. You can also get the viral Dubai chocolate here (not my cup of tea) and baked goods. In their cold sections, you can grab coffee and juice drinks and they have ice cups you can enjoy your drinks in. I have been fond of Korean groceries for a year now and have visited a few. Finally got a chance to go here and now it's my new favorite Korean store. What's notable about this store is that they have a good variety of items, especially the prepared food to go. I couldn't decide what to get because everything looks good and I want to try them all. I've seen more variety than what I saw at 2 other stores I've been to. They also have a bakery that looks so good. I will definitely have to get cake here for one of the future celebrations. And the price is at least a dollar less per item compared to the patisserie place we usually go to. The produce area is at par with the others, with enough variety of fruits and vegetables. The frozen section is also stocked with essential items. The meat section also has a good variety of usual Korean meat and cuts. The dry goods and snacks are also just right. The place is slightly smaller than the other 2 I go to, but surprisingly I found more interesting variety. The aisles are a bit smaller, but enough room to breeze through.
